there was a difference in "being rich" as the context of what she's rich in. as he said "she should be rich in fat tissue(big boobs)" where the "she doesn't have to be rich" refers to money
I leave this here for you: "She doesn't have to be rich (of money)", but "she has to be rich of fat tissue". It's not really a twist, it's more playing with German language.
Till's character has only one wish, but he is blind to the fact that it is all around him- like so many of us are (me included). Chasing a dream, while it can be fulfilled right where he is. Meanwhile poor Richard has to hide his wants in the basement. You like the name of the village- Ramstein is an actual town in Germany, it has the largest US air base in Europe and around 1990 a tragic accident happened there at an air show that killed and wounded a lot of people. Rammstein took their name after that and also has a song about with some dark lyrics.
Great reaction. He tricks you with the lyrics a little bit. The first few lines he exactly mean richeness in the sense of financial wealth. But in the end he doesn't talk about financial richeness. The the following words from the next line are important and must be read in a row "Sie muss nur reich sein an Fettgewebe bitte, bitte" (She just has to be rich in adipose tissue, please, please).
@@crazycurax5406 Because of this absolutley unnecessary discussion about a absolutely unimportant detail in the question how to translate "Fettgewebe" in english I assume you must be a german. ;-)
A great reaction, nice to see, you enjoyed it! And your understanding of German is really great, overall, so a compliment to that, too. Others already explained the "rich in fat tissue" stuff, so I'll leave that out ;) What I love in this song is, that it has different layers, as all Rammstein songs.. ofc, it is a fun song, the video is crazy and I laughed a lot, but there are also so many messages and hidden gems in it... the whole message, imo, can be seen as "don't be blind to all the beauty you have around you".. he has all the beautiful ladies, the countryside and all, but is literally blind to it, he even stepped on an "Edelweiss" in one scene, a very rare and protected flower. Then the little things.. the woman "beating the meat" , the boy, doing the "Till hammer" and burning his "Puppe" , and so much more.. amazing!
I am saying that also. listening to bunch of brutal shit but their guitar tone is perfectly nasty heavy. mein teil riff with sampling over it is one of the heaviest music pieces ever.
Your explanations & translations in this video are *hilarious*. Even the facial expressions that said everything without words. Thanks... I needed that today.
I love your reactions! You make no show, every emotion feels honest. You feel the music in your heart and in your soul - like me. - And you are very sweet.
Great reaction. Loved the song as soon as it came out. I think there is a lot of symbolism in the lyrics and the video, as with all other Rammstein songs. Others have already mentioned the analogy of the blind farmer desperately looking for well-endowed women, while being surrounded by them all the time, to being unable to see the obvious path to happiness due to being blinded by expectations but, I think the symbolism doesn't stop, even after the song. In the credits, the priest can be seen as the opposite of the farmer. Being a priest, he is averse to anything sexual and gets bombarded with boobs. We can interpret this as being too attentive to things that make us miserable. A man's treasure is another's trash. But both, the farmer and the priest, exist in us all. They can be seen as the misguiding path to the meaning of life or as a way to find happiness. Maybe by opening our eyes to the beauty that surrounds us. Or, maybe just going after what you want without expectations. You might end up like the priest but actually enjoy it.
"Sie muss nur reich sein (an Fettgewebe)" means that she must be well endowed. "Fettgewebe" is "fat tissue" and can be used to describe breasts. "reich an etwas sein" means "to have a lot of something" it is different to "reich sein" whch just means "to be rich".
At the end credits of the song there are multiple references to Rammstein songs. I see "Zeig dich" (Part with the priest), "Mein Teil" (when the two person, one with a saw, walks by), "Puppe" (obviously when they burn a doll), "Hallomann" (when Till seems to talk to a little girl at the fence) and maybe "Wiener Blut" (Till with the young girl at the end).
Schuhplattler is a traditional style of folk dance popular in the Eastern Alps, specifically originating from Upper Bavaria, Tyrol, and Salzburg. In this dance, the performers stomp, clap, and strike the soles of their shoes (Schuhe), thighs, and knees with their hands held flat (platt). German slap dance was shown in Lampoons European vacation where Chevy Chase cause a fight and town riot.
You really must see them live. Do you know that before every concert they invite blind people to a guided tour on the stage so as to give them a clue about what is going to happen. That is so nice of them.
It's like so many other Rammstein songs. If you only look at the first level, it's funny or you feel triggered or repelled by it. But there are many other levels underneath the top level underneath. But only if you feel like it. Of course you don't want to hear that when you're drinking at a concert or a party. You just want to have fun then But in phillosophical sensitive moments maybe you do? The video complements the title, which is not so much about breasts in general, but about happiness that you can't see. You just have to be able to recognise your happiness and access it. It's all around you, what you only wish for. But if you are blind to this happiness, then you don't see it and your life remains without joy, only grey and dull, which you complain about and remain lonely. The lyrical I in this video complains about exactly that and does not see the beautiful landscape (he also tramples an edelweiss which, by the way, is strictly protected). He destroys the environment and stumbles towards the abyss without seeing it. He doesn't even notice that all around him are all the dream women he so ardently desires. He is blind to it all If you are looking for happiness, you simply have to recognise and grasp it and not be blind to your surroundings. The story with Richard , who secretly goes into the cellar, is a different story. He is not outwardly lustfully fixated on women with big breasts, but feels a different inner secret suffering pressure for bigger breasts in order to feel like a woma
Very nice analysis. However, I would add a third layer. The reduction of women by men to their breasts. The man does not pay attention to inner values and thinks in steriotypes. He is blind to all the values of women, except breasts. Rammstein simply know how to convince in all respects. :)

It's overall a funny song but at the same time the MV shows that everything he wants is right at his every side and he can't see it. It also makes me think that sometimes we really are picky and as time goes on without success we go lowering our expectations, but it won't help if we don't pay attention and just keep waiting for things to come our way. But I don't know, maybe I'm overthinking and they just wanted to do something funny, haha.

Germany is the top 15 country in the world for average cup size. Surprisingly the US is first. And UK is second. I kind of expected UK the be listed pretty high. Romania is 3 places behind Germany if you were wondering 🙂 A town exists which is called Ramstein (one less m), it's where the US has an airbase as well. And where the band name partially came from.
Well...breast size correlates very much with bodyfat. So I am not surprised that the US is on top of this list considering the fact, that they have a huge problem with overweight/obesity.
For those that do not know, Roumania is a nation you really should visit if you are travelling Europe. The people are extremely kind and helpful and there are quite a few cultural places to visit (yes, it's more than Transylvania). I'd suggesting spending time in Delta Dunării (I won't narrow it down more) and do get on the Mocanita in Viseu de Sus. But most of all, remember that we stand united as one because Roumania has not forgotten and despite being one of the poorer nations they are doing everything to help. No this song is so new there isn't a English video I've found yet. However if you use Google translate or Google Rammstein Dicke Titten English lyrics. You'll find it.
do you remember if it was Poland's ESC contribution a few years ago to make butter (I think it was about, with busty women) I do not remember how they went but think it was pretty good As a reference, they made this song 25 years ago Rammstein - Buck Dich (Family Values, New Orleans 1998) (HD 60fps) ruclips.net/video/tFwlrsfxw2E/видео.html do not think there is any music video but from some Live gigs
Having often visited my German relatives in Bavaria when I was a kid, I can vouch for this being more or less the case during big celebrations. Not the overt sexualizing, but the traditional female clothing is seemingly designed to ... uh ... "enhance" certain features in women. I was teased a lot by a relative for how obvious it was that I, er, *noticed* that aspect of their attire. :P It's a really catchy song. These tend to be my least favorite songs since I prefer the ones with deeper lyrics, but it's certainly a banger nonetheless.
The first breast augmentation with a silicone implant took place in 1962, which is 60 years ago - that's why I consider this song, like Zick Zack, to be a reckoning with the obsession with beauty

you speak the "a" like the "a" in german and "stein" like "schtein". but I think you already do it right.
Great reaction! 👍🏼
No this song is so new there isn't a English video I've found yet. However if you use Google translate or Google Rammstein Dicke Titten English lyrics. You'll find it.
By the way, the dance is called Schuhplattler, funny to watch. It's from Bavaria.
you did really great!
In Deutschland sagt man " zwischen den Zeilen lesen" 🤘♥️👍🖖
My life motto
a village where they haven't heard of silicone! I'm already traveling there !!
do you remember if it was Poland's ESC contribution a few years ago to make butter (I think it was about, with busty women) I do not remember how they went but think it was pretty good
As a reference, they made this song 25 years ago
Rammstein - Buck Dich (Family Values, New Orleans 1998) (HD 60fps)

do not think there is any music video but from some Live gigs
I can relate to this song…
BissCute That was a awesome Premiere 😃👍
Thank you so much
You have an incredibly cute accent, fun reaction good lady!
Nice to know you enjoy good art :-)
Having often visited my German relatives in Bavaria when I was a kid, I can vouch for this being more or less the case during big celebrations. Not the overt sexualizing, but the traditional female clothing is seemingly designed to ... uh ... "enhance" certain features in women. I was teased a lot by a relative for how obvious it was that I, er, *noticed* that aspect of their attire.
:P
It's a really catchy song. These tend to be my least favorite songs since I prefer the ones with deeper lyrics, but it's certainly a banger nonetheless.
The women's dress is called a "Dirndl"
The Video makes this ....weaker... Song ....something Different
The end means her watermelons must be rich 😂
The first breast augmentation with a silicone implant took place in 1962, which is 60 years ago - that's why I consider this song, like Zick Zack, to be a reckoning with the obsession with beauty
Beauty and aging. The album is very heavy themed on time and going though life
I love how you translate the lyrics 😂👍
The best group of the world
a little late, but been watchinng your content for years, at 6:10 you missed the cock fight haha, and also at the end where he steps on the edelweiss, great reaction tho, i agree, only Rammstein *edit* - has to rich in fatty tisue, is what i believe is said. vould be wrong tho
Really good (and amusing :), reaction. The song is Very catchy and the video is Definitely 'Memorable'... But I doubt many blue haired Feminists would appreciate it 😂
The rest of humanity greatly appreciate it
Who cares what they think.
