A literal conversation yesterday. Me: Hey, Rammstein has a new song out. Friend: I don't know where the hell you've been, but it's pronounced "Ram Steen," not "Rom Shtine(Rolling R sound implied)." Having often visited my German relatives in Bavaria when I was a kid, I can vouch for this being more or less the case during big celebrations. Not the overt sexualizing, but the traditional female clothing is seemingly designed to ... uh ... "enhance" certain features in women. I was teased a lot by a relative for how obvious it was that I, er, *noticed* that aspect of their attire. :P It's a really catchy song. A literal conversation yesterday.
Me: Hey, Rammstein has a new song out.
Friend: I don't know where the hell you've been, but it's pronounced "Ram Steen," not "Rom Shtine(Rolling R sound implied)."
Me having studied German for two years in high school and one semester in college: O.o ........ Here's a link to their song "Rammstein." They literally teach you how to pronounce their name.

Having often visited my German relatives in Bavaria when I was a kid, I can vouch for this being more or less the case during big celebrations. Not the overt sexualizing, but the traditional female clothing is seemingly designed to ... uh ... "enhance" certain features in women. I was teased a lot by a relative for how obvious it was that I, er, *noticed* that aspect of their attire.

A town exists which is called Ramstein (one less m), it's where the US has an airbase as well. And where the band name partially came from.
Well...breast size correlates very much with bodyfat. So I am not surprised that the US is on top of this list considering the fact, that they have a huge problem with overweight/obesity.

For those that do not know, Roumania is a nation you really should visit if you are travelling Europe. The people are extremely kind and helpful and there are quite a few cultural places to visit (yes, it's more than Transylvania). I'd suggesting spending time in Delta Dunării (I won't narrow it down more) and do get on the Mocanita in Viseu de Sus.
But most of all, remember that we stand united as one because Roumania has not forgotten and despite being one of the poorer nations they are doing everything to help.
Kinda proud of Roumania is all I'm saying...
By the way, the dance is called Schuhplattler, funny to watch. It's from Bavaria.
