Can Aluminium Foil Sheets be used instead of Plastics ? Plastics are not good for health and Food Grade Plastics are expensive, so it is better to use Aluminium thin sheets.
Hey, its like an "Proxxon MicroMOT" you need for stuff like that with really small Drills (as in the video 0,4;0,5 or 0,6mm) the thickness depends on how thin the Plasticmaterial is (If you have very thin PC Material for Example, you should use very small Drilles, otherwise you will see the Holes when the Moulding is finished)
Hey, a lil late but lets try : You heat the PC (Polycarbonate) with Infrared Radiators (like in the example above "Illig" Company) to about 170-180 Celsius. It depends how "good" the moulding should be, if you wanna have like clean/sharp Edges you need more temperature (But that will come with some Problems aswell). Your Radiators should have like 400-500 Celsius and they should heat the Plate for like 160 seconds (e.g. 20 Sec for each mm). Btw it should stop Cooling pretty early, if the cooling is kinda decent, it will be done in like max. 50-60 Seconds. It should come out of the Machine with approximately 100-110 Celsius, over 100 Celsius the Material is Stable for "use". Have a good Day
2:57 I love how it just violently slides down and smashes onto the other platform
