Luke actually had a “farm boy” skin as well, it’s still present in the instruction manual for the PC and PSP versions I believe. Also I think Luke and Han both had stormtrooper skins at one point during development.
Here are some facts/other suggestions for videos: 1. In the game file k wing. In one of the games files there was a k-wing a Legends Bomber from after the original trilogy. 2. Video game demos. The 2004 game had a Xbox demo on the 2004 original trilogy DVD box set and the second game had a demo on the episode 3 DVD. 3. Original versions of maps sometimes they do a layout of a map in pre-production and then change it and it's different to what you get on the released game. 4. More cheat codes I know you briefly show them on a video but you could show more in depth. 5. Different places in the game where you can instantly die I remember in the second game on geonosis top command post and there's a hole if you jump in it you die. 5. Differences depending on what version of the game you have 6. You could do some facts about the PSP Battlefront games. 7. Things made specially for the games that weren't around before like in the first game droid gunship & some locations. 8. Some trailers had footage that wasn't in the actual released games. 9. Voice lines & music in games. 10. The difference between console and PC menu. 11. In Battlefront 2 I think in some space maps with the visibility cheat on I was able to fly through capital ship and blow up the inside Parts. 12. Battlefront 2 Capital ship life support room: You can place time bombs on the back computer screen and blow up. But you can blow up those other other things that are in the middle of the room. There's many of them I'm not sure what happens once you destroy them all. If you enter the room and destroy all of them don't do any think to that back computer & It might destroy it I'm not sure.

The appearance of the Clone Trooper I just assumed was just based off concept art of the Ep3 Clone Pilot. As some media released for Ep3 such as 2D clone wars show, and Lego game had a full face covered helmet. Rather than a visor like in the final film.

Is the Heavy NOT based on Captain Rex?! Such an iconic character with an iconicn look that's so close in game I'd be surprised if he wasn't!
I always thought the clone engineer armour was mainly inspired by the tie-pilots' armour. The helmet, at any rate. But in-universe it's obviously the other way around, which is also weird, since clone pilots had a different design altogether, and imperial engineers also have different outfits.
If the 2003 Clone wars cartoon and stuff like Revenge of the Sith Incredible Cross-Sections which came out before the movie are anything to go by the clone pilots were originally going to have a fully enclosed helmet which was visually more similar to TIE pilot helmets but they choose to go with the current design instead for whatever reason.
@@SOMEGUY7893 I miss phase 1 armours. @@georgeoldsterd8994 I disagree, I never got the impression Phase 2 armor looked "too evil" or "too intimidating" for the (mostly) good guys even as a kid. Also in general looking intimidating isn't weird for a military faction even if it's a good one, they're still there to fight an enemy.
The shocktrooper design shown here was made for Battlefront 2015, it did not exist prior to it, that is why you find it anywhere in previous battlefront games or any other medias.
A side note about the Ben Kenobi "model left in the files", as far as I'm aware there only remains voice files and an unfinished loadout for him (which uses I think had either Mace WIndu or Young Obi's model as a placeholder)
Engineer armor was meant to be seen in a delited scene for RotS. When Yoda and Obi Wan came to the jedi tample they were met with clones wearing this armor and coats to mask as the jedi.
1. ARC Troopers were known to have carried projectile weapons of almost any kind. 2. Helmets aren't always unique to certain variants of Clone Troopers. 3. Bacara's armor wasn't unique to him. In fact, it's a variant of Phase 2 ARC Trooper armor. 4. Of course we're not going to see every character or trooper class that existed during Revenge of the Sith. And again, helmets aren't always unique to certain Clone Trooper variants. 5. The Empire had several types of Shock Troopers within the ranks of the Stormtooper corps, most of which were equipped with various heavy weapons. Classic Battlefront II is part of the Expanded Universe. The Shock Troopers with the red markings are from Disney's canon. 6. You left out the reason as to why Clones were no longer used for Dark Trooper experimentation and why the Phase 1 Dark Trooper was introduced. That reason being that most of them committed suicide due to their PTSD from the Clone Wars kicking in. What would trigger their PTSD was the fact that they became more droid than man, and to say that Clones aren't very fond of droids is an understatement.
TBH I think it would be cool (If cannon) The Dark Trooper Phase 0 actually happened in star wars but they later turned into the Death Trooper seeing their faults at "testing phases"
Let's not forget that in the PSP Battlefront Renegade Squadron (and elite squadron by extension), they let you put different heads on the same bodies. For CIS you could have an IG head on a magnaguard, for GR you could put commando, bacara and paratroopers on the same (weird looking) body type and so on and so forth. the battlefront games aren't great at making sure which design represents which unit.
This bundle would have made more sense if they: A.) Didn't release it on Steam and instead it was just a Console Bundle that had Cross-Play with Steam and Each Other. or B.) Was bundled with a proper Remaster of the PSP Battlefront that a lot of people have forgot even existed.
the only time Anakin was on the same side as Kenobi in this game was in the DLC map Yavin Arena where they had Ventress be the CIS Hero. and they decided to make Anakin the Republic Hero in honor of that old cartoon mini series

The dark trooper also made an appearance in Galactic Battlegrounds, a 2001 real time strategy game, he is the imperial fortress unit
There's so many really cool mods for this game! I'm a console gamer but I play BF2 on Steam because it's so old and low end I can actually run on it on my laptop. SO many cool mods that add tons of new content, including lots of clone mods that add all the different colors and factions. Some are attached to the map, but some you can choose what faction you want through the menu, so I used that for Galactic Conquest a lot, trying different ones on different planets. BF2 mods are awesome!
That's such a well thought out game! I'm glad I spend so much time on it although I never noticed most of these things until you mentioned it in your video
The Red white Imperial shock Trooper for EA Battlefront game was made specially for that game.
But they were actually introduced in the EU 90s and they were white with some differences depending what video game or Media they were shown.
i love these types of videos man, just when I thought I knew everything about battlefront
Glad you enjoyed! More Battlefront content on the way.
What's other cool facts about the BF series that I missed? Thank you for 500+ likes! Part 4 is out now about differences between BF1 & 2. Watch here - ruclips.net/video/Rh5qHrbWJVA/видео.html&ab_channel=HeroofSinnoh
Ben Kenobi was supposed to have his voice lines too.
Royal Guard was also meant to be in BF2. He had recorded voice lines too.
Luke actually had a “farm boy” skin as well, it’s still present in the instruction manual for the PC and PSP versions I believe. Also I think Luke and Han both had stormtrooper skins at one point during development.
@@ethnol3842 That's so interesting, Ill defs look into it, thanks!
Here are some facts/other suggestions for videos:
5. Differences depending on what version of the game you have
@@DanBen07Thanks for the facts! Defs will include these in upcoming videos, already working on a Beta/Demo version video next and was planning on psp ver soon after, ill look more into these.
The appearance of the Clone Trooper I just assumed was just based off concept art of the Ep3 Clone Pilot.
As some media released for Ep3 such as 2D clone wars show, and Lego game had a full face covered helmet. Rather than a visor like in the final film.
I always thought the Geonosis/Phase 1 Heavy Trooper was based off Captain Rex because he looks almost the same with the blue and the attachment on the helmet. Especially when he has pistol equipped! Is the Heavy NOT based on Captain Rex?! Such an iconic character with an iconicn look that's so close in game I'd be surprised if he wasn't!
Darth maul also has a sick lightsaber twirl attack if you hold the attack button for the last input in the combo
The phase 2 looked way too much like stormtrooper armour, which didn't make sense for the Republic's image as the "good guys" (stormtrooper armour, among other things, was meant to intimidate enemies). I get that they were going for a transition between Republic and Empire, but it was too on the nose.
@@Chicky_Lumps except most of the enemies are supposed to be emotionless robots.
The mid air explosion at the intro had me dead
The shocktrooper design shown here was made for Battlefront 2015, it did not exist prior to it, that is why you find it anywhere in previous battlefront games or any other medias.
A side note about the Ben Kenobi "model left in the files", as far as I'm aware there only remains voice files and an unfinished loadout for him (which uses I think had either Mace WIndu or Young Obi's model as a placeholder)
Been playing since release, knew all of these but still enjoy watching these videos
Watching this because I need to learn tricks for March
Dark Forces was the first Star Wars video game I ever played! It was basically a Star Wars themed Doom clone, super fun.
The clone engineer helmet appear in the animated 2D Clone Wars series. They were Acclamator pilots
1:36 This is the shock trooper from the new canon. The original Battlefront games were made before the Disney purchase.
Engineer armor was meant to be seen in a delited scene for RotS. When Yoda and Obi Wan came to the jedi tample they were met with clones wearing this armor and coats to mask as the jedi.
These facts were actually amazing. Especially the last ones about the move sets. 👍
Luke actually has the standing attack of Ki-Adi-Mundi, the running attack of Yoda and the jumping attack of Aayla Secura.
One thing I always thought was interesting is the way rebel soldiers brutalize dead stormtroopers to make sure their armor won't save them.
phase 1 clone jet troopers weapon in battlefront 1 were so fun to use
I kinda remember Obi Wan and Anakin having different stats too, like Obi Wan had higher defense and Anakin did more damage
Pretty cool how they tied in master and apprentice move sets. I never realized that.
Clone Engineers wear armor very similar to V-Wing Pilots.
TBH I think it would be cool (If cannon) The Dark Trooper Phase 0 actually happened in star wars but they later turned into the Death Trooper seeing their faults at "testing phases"
Another banger of a video!!
50% droid, 30% skill, 20% the power of will
As someone who played this game for countless hours I didn’t know there was more to it then just shooting some droids
I just want cool clone skins… instead of weird mix mash of troopers.
One of my biggest gripes when I was 10…
The only thing I dislike in the OG BFs are the class skins.
A class I wish we had in Battlfront 2 for the Republic Side instead of the Jet Trooper is the Shadow Trooper
I use to play as the clone heavies just to look like an Arc Trooper lol
They put so much thought into this game. It’s mind boggling how much care they made this game with v. EA. Such a huge gap
This bundle would have made more sense if they:
A.) Didn't release it on Steam and instead it was just a Console Bundle that had Cross-Play with Steam and Each Other.
or
B.) Was bundled with a proper Remaster of the PSP Battlefront that a lot of people have forgot even existed.
I think they're was also supposed to be a Tatooine Luke Skin but was cut from the game, im not sure tho
the only time Anakin was on the same side as Kenobi in this game was in the DLC map Yavin Arena where they had Ventress be the CIS Hero. and they decided to make Anakin the Republic Hero in honor of that old cartoon mini series
The vehicles are also incorrect. The v wing being the most obvious imo, they turned a fast interceptor/ escort into a bomber lol same with Greivous' personal ship
Did you know the model name for the heavy class is ARC Trooper, it is an arc trooper, just playing a heavy role, Also about the shock trooper, Remember that Battlefront 2 was developed before episode 3, and Shock troopers didnt exist, especially for the empire.
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 the show didnt come out until a few years after SWBF2 did, Captain rex is more closely based on ARC troopers (what the SWBF2 heavy is) than anything. But no the heavy phase 1 clone isnt based on captain rex as captain rex did not exist at the time
they looked WAY into the yoda thing
JESUS CHRIST
That's some me level of dedication
This entire video was just "here's a fact you already knew" because of BF 1&2 were my shit. I'm a world record holder for a reason. I know my games 🗿
There's a bunch of weird things about the game. Some of the units are just random Star Wars stuff. Like the CIS bomber is General Grievous's star fighter and the REP fighter is a Jedi Starfighter.
Even with bad movies there was some cool content as of now Mando is cool or was cool
Thanks for the info dorks.
Poor Dark Trooper became the thing he hates the most
I actually didn't know that last part...
Also Luke and Han have unused stormtrooper variants
Don’t forget that the back pack of the dark trooper is just a prop that was used by qui gon in episode 1, or maybe it was a necklace anakin wore. It’s one of those. Go see for yourself
In canon phase 2s are armored exo suits
I wish renegade and elite squadron had gotten pc ports
Dark troopers are Combine Elites???
fantastic channel
Back then they didn't have enough space to put larger games on a single disk so they re-used a lot of assets. It's not lazy coding but neither is it that deep.
The dark trooper has appeared in Cannon thanks to the second series of the Mandalorian before that show had its bad half series & worse 3rd series. Disney really doesn't know how to make good star wars stuff for long.
Ohhhhh Commander Faie
Even more cooler
Don't forget kyle katarn the ex stormtrooper destroyed the 1st set of dark trooper projects, thats why we havent seen any " canon wise" 😂
Cool
cooler
1:22
"Even more cooler"
Still one of the best Star Wars game!
2:17 i like how the armor has nipples.
Should I play this on Series X backwards compatibility or PC?
Pc if ya want graphics and mods, Series X if you get dlc, and always enjoyed the game with controller more anyways.
@@Hero_of_Sinnoh Thank you
When you say canon, do you mean Disney or Legends?
Btw on the PSP version they fixed all those color mistakes I’m pretty sure
And don’t sleep on the PSP version it was still amazing, and you could even play with friends who also have the PSP version
Phase 3 dark trooper is just Frank Horrigan from Fallout
sorry to cross fandoms
Can anyone tell me the name of the training map (i just started playing this game)
the clone engineers are actually at-st drivers
Dark forces was great.
Why do you enforce subtitles? Can't you make them optional?
RUclips already has a subtitle feature.
Anybody know if that "battlefront 3" mod is any good?
1:15 Keller was newer killed wtf
No one said that.
@@MarsiB013 he did bro

"Kai adi mundi"
It's Ki.
All these older videos will help with the game coming back out on ps4 and ps5 lol 🎉😂🎉
Nice. But get over it lol, those two original battlefronts top a majority of new games
Dude they reuse animations to save space when deving games.
It's Aspyr.
I tried to tell people hyping this shit that it wont be anywhere near close to what they think it will be.
Aspyr more or less just ports. They don't do anything else. They don't Remake, They don't Remaster, They don't even fix outstanding bugs. They just port. It is *LITERALLY* the exact same game already on Steam only bundle with the... three DLC's the games had?
I gave them a pass with Stubb the Zombie because it's original PC port was terrible, so bad in fact that it was pulled from Steam. There wasn't anything in recent memory to compare Aspyr's Stubbs to and for those who did have the displeasure of owning the original Steam version, Aspyr's was a direct upgrade because it was at least functional.
its only 30bucks so its fine
Damn that was absolutely terrible
1:36, no they don't wear read, this is the pre- Filoni/Disney era, turn off your Disney brain for a second.
I got a question
yep?
@Hero_of_Sinnoh so I ranked higher then captain...yet Clones aren't following behind my back and help shooting where I shoot at....yes I'm ranked at general which is higher then captain
@@jarrodedson5441 So you have to command them to follow you even if you have a high rank. If your on console, press up on the D-pad. If your on PC its 4 or F4, but I usually switch the key binding to something easier like B
@Hero_of_Sinnoh right and which one is the D pad? On xbox
@@jarrodedson5441 So the joy stick is the 2 circle ones, d pad is the 4 buttons on the left that goes up, right, down, left.
