Scruffy Bastardo there was a documentary a long time ago you could watch..........I think it was called “honey I shrunk the kids” . This should give you an idea of what to do.
When I see your exact comment on other videos 😭 These fleas are an issue considering we have a pregnant cat along with six others and a guinea pig as inside pets, we have six dogs and one of them just gave birth under the house 😃
Fighting fleas is a battle of attrition, I've been constantly vaccuming, mopping, and reapplying poison, got flea treatments for all my pets, used sevin dust around the perimeter and porch as well as light and bowl traps all over the house, and I'm applying a growth inhibitor tonight lol. it's been about two weeks of constant effort but I can finally wear shorts in my house and only have to worry about getting one or two. Best of luck to anyone else fighting these assholes, and remember that it's an ongoing process
Fleas and mosquitos are two species I would be happy to see go extinct. Oh, add ticks to that list! Good luck mate, I am in week 2 of my battle with the micro vampires!
Fleas are annoying. They are biting me. I have applied and I don't see them like I have before. I have used that spray he is talking about. My cats cuddle near me. Good luck getting rid of them- they are annoying. Love my cats. Also if your cat eats the nasty fleas they can get worms. Those are the worst.
I've fought this battle for about 4 years. what worked for me and I tried everything all the home remedies. bombs. pesticides. It's hard work but a steam cleaner and a vacuum are my best friends also dehumidifiers and air conditioning kept my humidity levels below 50% flea free finally hope this helps someone I was so irritated with these little demons. best of luck all
Thank you so much for posting this. I am so sick of pesky fleas and I have tried so many things as well. It's cost me a fortune. But I will follow your advice and I have a feeling its going to work. Many blessings Amanda ❤ 🙌 🙏

Sorry to hear I remember when one of my newest cat was a kitten (3yrs old now) he to had brought fleas and those pesky bugs kept bitting me and my family members alot in out legs. now a days it's rare for them to bite us. What we did was vacuum consistently and killed any flea that was on us I suggest (catching and flushing down in the tolite so they won't come back compared to sinks) also we used fastcaps those mini pills used to kill fleas within 30 minutes but there's only 6 of those pills. It does take time until the flea infestation will go away about within a year and a half I believe or more. During night they are a real problem especially if they are In your bed mattress I'd suggest using bug repellent on your legs to guarantee a night without any irritating bites. Just keep fighting the fleas and eventually they'll decrease drastically on your floors.
Same here! I thought I'd be the only one experiencing this during covid and for the first time nonetheless! It's making staying indoors even more intolerable especially since I've been bitten. We have tried almost everything from flea shampoo baths, grooming and fur cut, cleaning blankets and surfaces she frequently sits on. Now we need to clean the carpets the couch covers, blankets, and everything to make sure they are gone for good. This is going to be a major spring cleaning. By all the lights I left bowls of dawn dish soap with warm water so catch them. I also am going to make flea traps with cones going into cups filled with sweet juice or sugary drinks to trap them inside.
Honestly ready to end it all I’m tired of this & I feel absolutely ugly from all the scars. None of my family is taking this seriously and I’m the only one getting bitten
SAMEEE. five months later did it ever get better do u have tips?? my mom DOESNT care and theyre all over my carpet. im 16 and im the only one that seems to actually want to work hard and kill them all. im so annoyed
@@kai-mo8tt Yeah it got better since I've put one flea trap.( the dishwater trick). After that, we got those flea collars and surprisingly it worked. We also occasionally comb the cat with the flea comb. In short, keep making those traps and isolate dem cats if you must. Just make sure to check the cat for any new fleas. Either ways, one of my cats just gave birth to 5 kittens so umm i don't wanna to go through hell again 😭
You can also take a really shallow bowl or lid or plate of some sort. Put some dawn or liquid dish soap in the water enough til it fells slimy like but don’t maybe it foamy. Put a night light or a lamp next to that of the night in all your rooms that are infected. They will try to get to the light and get stuck in the soapy water. It really works. Do that along with all the other methods of getting rid of fleas. It helps a lot.
Absolutely works, got cheap led desk lamps frw yrs ago, kept them and can determine fleas population goes away. Keep water & dawn mix repeat set up after dump in wc & start agsin, BEST IS AT NIGHT light draws them in captured & they drown in it!
This is how my parents eliminated fleas in the 90s. We didnt live in the house yet though but, the fleas were so bad youd have 30 on your legs in seconds.
I meant rinse warm. Anyway , cats are difficult if you cannot bathe them. I go everyday with fleacomb and a dish with soapy water, where the comb gets dipped and fleas into water, then dry comb and do it all over again . It helps big time ! Then take a lintroller and roll all the indoor catplaces and vacuum frequently. God bless you and your family and pets. Amen
What Im about to say works, but make sure your pet isnt inside for atleast 20-30 mins while this process goes. Youll need: Spray Bottle Water Dawn Dish soap (the one with the duck) Pine Glo/Pine Sol I know that last ingredient sounds bad, but it kills upon contact. Also this mixture leaves your treated room smelling amazing. To make it: Fill 1/4th of the bottle with Dawn Dish Soap Fill 1/4th of the bottle with Pine Sol/Glo At this point, the bottle should be halfway full Fill the rest of the bottle with Water, and mix evenly. Use this before you vacuum as a pretreat method, and the ingredients are very cheap, and easy to come by :)
I am trying this method I never been but by a flea but I’m at the point where I now have a superior hate for fleas I would rather get bit by mosquitoes sadly at this point cause at least you can hear them and see they better 😢
@@Dayvakiin Its a process, and catch them while they are in smaller quantities so that you dont have a big case like I do. Im still undergoing my process, but try to be patient, and do the same steps every day. If you have a steamer that reaches 200 Degress Fahrenheit, use that on wherever the infected room is, as that kills them on contact. Make sure to assess every single inch of the room. I do spray > Steam > Spray more > Round 2 of Steaming, and then i flea bomb the room.
Hi guys here are my tips and experience with dealing fleas. We had a 15 year old doggie that was put to sleep 1 week ago. She was being eaten alive because she couldn’t fight back the fleas. Hence the infestation of fleas. Here is what seemed to work so far: 1. Vacuum EVERY DAY. (And I vacuum the floor as well) 2. Enforcer Flea Carpet Killer (found in target, walmart etc about 5 bucks) i used 3 because we have a lot of carpet. But sprinkle it around the carpet and leave it for a day) i made sure to close the room and kept away for the first hour because it had a strong (good) smell. Lol i know but yeah ANYWAYS this def KILLED ADULT FLEAS. When i vacuumed I saw them which seemed like they were having a seizure. YES KILL EM ALL! But it did take about 1-2 days for them to be having seizures. 3. Borax + Salt. This dehydrates the eggs and lave which is the root of the problem. Doesn’t necessarily kill adult fleas but their eggs. But sprinkle on top of carpet and leave for 24 hours then vacuum. 4. Shallow bowl + water + few drops of DISH SOAP. I lay several around the house and after a day I have found some dead in the bowls. This DROWNS the fleas its so satisfying. Sometimes when I catch one with my fingers I decide their death, drowning or being crushed by my finger nails I always choose Drowning. You just see them drown and fight for their lives. 5. Wash bed sheets, pillow cases etc. Once a week. Just in case. Currently we have no other pets, so yes fleas will eventually die (within a month with NO host ) but doing these things I’ve seen an improvement. And for those being bit on the legs and ankles I RECOMMEND using high socks and putting them ABOVE your jeans, leggings etc so they can’t bite you. I used to cry because I would get bit all the time and it was painful but now that my socks are on top and pants/leggings tucked underneath my socks I am Itch-free and have not gotten bit. HOPE THIS HELPS! And yes quarantine did not make this any easier!! Ps: my vacuum doesnt use bags its just a canister so after I vacuumed I released the trash from the vaccuum into the trash barrel and spray RAID on top to kill fleas.
@@devannabaker515 There are a lot of good suggestions here. Treat the pets first or bring them to the vet for a flea bath.Let them stay there overnight do you can spray & clean the house in the meantime.
@@devannabaker515 If you can sweep or vacuum your floors every day! and set out the bowls with water and soap all around the house. Trust me this will help!
@@devannabaker515 sprinkle food grade diatameous earth all over floors and leave it there til fleas are dead. Kills everything eggs etc. Bath pet often with dish soap and vinegar. When u notice no more fleas on pet or around just vacuum up the powder. Makes bit of a mess walking thru powder but works and chemical free
Thank you everyone for your comments. Its been like a mini group therapy session! I have two Huskies that I have to walk twice a day and I know they pick them up on their walks and bring them home. I'm fortunate I don't get bit for some reason but I've been at this for 3 months already😵I've yet to find the happy balance between a life and flea death but..."If you're going through hell, keep going!" Update- it’s been a month and we are on the other side of hell😅It’s been raining a bit and they still get a few here and there but it seems the worst is over.
I'm happy for you, I can't say the same for myself though. My cat recently caught fleas from another cat and brought it home. I've been completely stressed ever since. Feels like I can't live a normal life anymore without being itchy and catching fleas on my cat and ankles all the time. Please, do you have any advice on how I can get rid of them for good?
Get some Capstar pills, works for 24 hours, and kills adult fleas you're dog picks up from outside. Safe to use every day if needed. I had a recent infestation and this was what finally worked for me.
Also if you wear lavender oil they won't jump on you. It doesnt last forever buy I put it on before bed and they stop jumping on me. Not a forever treatment but it helps you deal.
I am so frustrated, we moved to a new place and they followed us here!! I feel so dirty and close to crying. I hate these damn things and I’ve been doing everything I can to get rid of these things!!
Hi! Go online and READ about how to get rid of them. Also treat everything at least 3 times (every 2 weeks) in order to break the flea life cycle. Don't give up! You can do this 😊
Maria Bello hi, it actually helped that we moved from carpets to wood floors. Plus with the move, we were constantly rearranging furniture which meant a lot more vacuuming and getting rid of a lot of stuff. We would constantly clean and then as soon as we were done with vacuuming, we would empty and clean the tank and filter. Vacuuming I hear can trigger the eggs to hatch because of heat which is why the emptying was so important. So they couldn’t come out. We did this pretty much everyday. This took some time too so be prepared for that and to do it for a few weeks. I also did a lot of laundry and got rid of anything else that we didn’t need. One of our dogs has long hair and is prone to fleas so he got his summer cut and is now medicated and checked pretty regularly. I would give the food grade DE a shot even though I didn’t get the chance to but also be consistent with vacuuming if you’re able. That’s kind of what helped I feel, just being almost obsessive with cleaning so that the eggs can’t get a chance to come back too. Make sure to get the cracks and crevices because they will try to come back. If you have pets, make sure to give them what they need so that the fleas also don’t have a host to feed off of. I understand the frustration so I really hope you’re able to find a system that works for you that can get rid of them before they get too out of hand where you might have to call for a specialist. Good luck!
my cats have fleas. when we used a spray, they all went to my cats face. it was a horrible sight to see. I was scared of fleas at first but whenever i see them i get filled with anger and try my best to get it off of them
I’ve resorted to wearing long white socks and walking around my house, allowing them to jump all over my legs. Then I sit down and pick them off one by one and place them into a bowl of soapy water. On day 3 of doing this, the number of fleas I get per day is shrinking.
Honestly its a good way to break the cycle. Fleas can only reproduce after drinking blood. Another method that works is vacuuming twice a day. The vibrations from the vacuum makes the flea eggs hatch, then you suck up the adults before they can feed. It's worked wonders in the past for me.
I'm gonna definitely try this! I've been fighting fleas every year buying every product imaginable. For a while Frontline used to work great. Never had a flea problem. But either the fleas mutated or they started watering down their product because now it doesn't help at all. Feel so bad for my boys scratching 24/7. I'm praying these products end up working...
I buy K9 Advantix II. We had a flea bag outdoor/barn cat who gave our yard fleas but Advantix kills the fleas on our one dog. The other dog doesn't ever have dead or live fleas on him and I comb them both outside before they come back in our house, so the topical solution must work really well. You have to get the yard under control too. We have TruGreen coming Monday. I just hope our home is not infested!
@@melissam33 is the medication on that you have to put on their backs or is it an edible kind? I usually use pet armor and it seems to kill most but I doesnt work as well as it used to. Looking for another alternative!
@@timhughes4634 it is the one you put on their backs. I start with the back of the neck and go all the way to the tail. It's the red, white and gray box. I have to buy for XL size but it has recently been on clearance at my local Walmart for $24.98 for two doses. Fleas are dead by contact, they do not even have to bite. I have read on multiple articles that fleas have become immune to Frontline. I've never used that brand and don't plan on it now. K9 Advantix II is definitely working!
Also, you can reapply weekly if the problem is really bad. Once you get it under control you can move to monthly. I just have a hard time putting that much chemical on my dogs, but if it came down to that or my home infested, I would do it.
I have depression and my neighbor's cats have brought fleas into my home through the garden. I am too exhausted most of the time to clean and that's one of the best ways to get rid of them. It makes me feel so disgusting and I just needed to vent lmao
Don't forget garlic......Dr. Becker quoted the original study about not giving digs garlic.... BS.....because you would have to feed your dog an entire BULB OF GARLIC, no dog or human is going to eat an entir bulb. Just Give 1 to 2 cloves of garlic .....we used to feed my dogs garlic cooked in their food a few times a week and they never had fleas and never got hemolytic anemia or any other medical problems. Going to start giving my 2 dogs garlic. FYI....THEY SAY THIS IS THE WORST YEAR FOR FLEAS BECAUSE OF ALL THE RAIN AND WARM WEATHER. Good Luck Everyone.... .
Exactly. Lived in Reno and Vegas for 40 years. Never saw a flea or tick on any of my pets. Moved to Georgia, dogs got them instantly, and so did my legs. Maybe it’s the nice year round weather or the insane humidity here.
I just want to share with you guys what I did...AND I TRIED EVERYTHING! I put my animals on Braveto- used ORTHO HOME PEST CONTROL FOR BED BUGS AND FLEAS AS A RESIDUAL- every two weeks and treated several times with Novacide. I vacuumed everyday for 3 weeks- we had a bad infestation. Washed ALL clothes blankets....EVERYTHING. I also treated my yard and cars for fleas.
Found out what my indoor cat was suffering from, she was in a real bad shape, still work in progress,it had been difficult to get rid of this infestation and i live on a 1st floor pfff daily care will get us there
The other day I stepped outside to feed my dogs, came back, and in two minutes found 11 OF THEM ALL OVER MY BODY BITING ME. This has been going on for years and I think it's time to burn the house down
I made my own spray that gets rid of these annoying fleas! Trust me you’ll forever thank me! Slice lemon , boil 30 mins leave on side for 8 hours. Peel the lemons in bowl remove the peels then smash the rinds in and fill bottle with vinegar like half cup then pour the lemon inside! Spray the floors ,cracks, couches , make sure you vaccum and put ur bed sheets and blankets in dryer while ur doing this. On high heat after that throw the vaccum bag in trash and mop the floor with with lemon spray. And spray the bed with it , the table, the pillows it’s ok it’s natural . The smell stinks for “10 mins. Do this everyday you will see them gone in 2-3 days but don’t stop as eggs can appear. They need to be sucked up with vaccum! This was only solution for me that worked since I deal with it 4 years straight! Good luck!
I had a 2 month battle with fleas. My cats infected the whole house with them and I just remember it being a nitemear. They messed me up everyday and night but I ended up winning the fight.
my cat ruined the whole house dude my whole bedroom is made of carpet, and two beds one for me and one for my sis. and the couch and my moms bed and carpet floors. theyre everywhere i hate it :( have any tips?
I’m going NUTS with these fleas, my cat has em and I believed my lawn is haunted with fleas at this very moment. & the worst part is, I’m the only one who are likely to get bitten no matter how hard I tried to repell and sprinkle crushed moth balls outside of my bedroom. But still, I can still see fleas jumping here and there! Also, I’ve hypersensitive skin. So whenever I have flea bites, it will took me approximately a week to stop swelling and end up having huge ugly marks on my legs 😭😭😭😔
We have a great variety of products for treating fleas, both on your pet and in your home. Reach out to us on our website so we can give you some better recommendations that could help relieve you from the flea infestation.
They're undoubtedly evolving and it's pissing me off with how many animals I have. Four cats and two dogs and the vet wants my family to bring ALL of them in to get them checked. There's no way we're getting charged $300 just for stepping in the door with six animals. We're trying EVERYTHING, flea collars, diatomaceous earth, liquid medicine, flea baths, vacuuming, flea traps. I hate them so much and I feel so bad for our poor pets...
Fleas are a nightmare pest. They can take between 30 to 60 days to completely rid of them. Each flea can lay 10 eggs a day and each egg can have 60 to 100 fleas inside. This can very easily get out of control. We have a step by step method to eliminate them from your home.
Try using the essential oils....they really hate them, like lemongrass, peppermint, rosemary, and cedar, and mix with some water in a spray bottle ...or, mix with some water and apple cedar vinegar and 10 drops of neem oil; As for mattress, spray your mattress with isopropyl alcohol at least every week between wahing sheets and pillow cases. These things will not hurt your animals. One of my dogs almost died a few years ago with the conventional pesticides....THEY ARE POISON !!!
I'm guessing, I am not the only one in this boat when it comes to dealing with fleas. Standing there, feeling TREMENDOUS guilt because our pet/pets have been scratching themselves raw because they are infested with fleas. Feeling angry and frustrated too the max because you just can't get rid of them no matter how many attempts and products you buy. Well here's 1 treatment THAT DOES NOT WORK.... Standing there focused but mad to the point of rage, looking down at the floor looking for 1 of those fleas and screaming.... "I AM GOING TO KILL EVERYONE OF YOU MOTHER*******" And I don't even cuss. My, and my dogs day will come, don't you worry.
My mom showed me that once you actually catch one, go somewhere that has light and on a light colored table or surface so it doesn't get away. Get something flat or use the top part of your nail and smash it. You'll know it's dead when you hear a pop.
I just wanna cry 😭 I have treated my dogs and done the house and did the cats for a couple weeks now and I keep seeing them did a flea bath yesterday woke up to a bunch on them again I have a whole acre this is overwhelming
I’m currently battling fleas, it’s absolutely exhausting. we had an exterminator come about 3 days ago. our cat is treated yet we’re still seeing them. i’ve vacuumed like crazy and i am also going crazy. im on the verge of a mental breakdown and im tired. I don’t know what else to do
Another way to get rid of dog fleas? Dogs like to swim, so take your dog to a lake and let him paddle around in the water for a while; the fleas will drown. Repeat this everyday for a week or so.
Guys use Bob Martin clear plus flea spray on your furniture, it really works!! And a tip, wear white long socks where you have the most fleas and watch them jump on, kill them with washing up liquid mixed with water in a cup. They suffocate and die straight away. My problem used to be so bad, to the point where I have scars on my legs and especially my feet from the bites. But ever since i started using the flea spray they have decreased in numbers so much. Also flea drops that you can put on your cat work quite well. I find that the collars are absolutely SHIT
Tbh he didnt touch on the root core of the problem, simple fact is that if you have an animal you will always get fleas its about regulating, and yes you can regulate to the point of almost extinction, growing up my house was so bad the kitchen sounded like it was raining from all the fleas jumping on the linoleum, you could literally hear them all hitting the floors in the dead of night literally sounded like rain, got so bad that the animals were in danger and had to be taken to the vet, he perscribed a medication called Bravecto or maybe Brevacto or Brivicto (idk the guy was indian and as such had an accent so ya know) its apparently a medication grade chemical that is ingested orally that is totally safe for animals (unless they have an allergy) whih makes them release this oil along side the skin oils in their sweat which kill the fleas when they ingest it when biting, its the absolute *BEST* flea medication ive ever experienced even after owning several dogs and cats at a time for my entire life, it complete frees the animal from basically all fleas, its a pill that they only have to take quarterly or every 3 months if i remeber correctly, the only downside is its mildly expensive and it requires a prescription from a vet meaning it requires a vet visit making it more expensive but i promise its worth it, wash the animals every week, spread diatomaceous earth on ur carpet and vacuum every single day, then schedule a hotel visit for 2-3 days, administer the medicine to ur animal, then wash ur animal again once at home, then again at the hotel, ur pup and or kitty should now be relatively flea free, while ur in the hotel fumigate the house with a name brand insecticide like raid or something and let it chill for the entire time ur at the hotel, and then... wait for it.... ...do it all again in a month (aside from the medicine which should only be taken as perscribed) and after 3 or 4 times of doing this youll be as close to flea free as you can get, after that just make sure to keep ur carpets dry and cool and vacuum often and you should be good, hope this helps someone out there 👍
Thank you for the great video! I have tiles and have no carpets and I have fleas plaguing my whole apartment, mattress and vinyl sofa included. Should I just get a powerful steamer since I think it's hotter and probably good for my mattress or should I invest in a normal vacuum cleaner because I don't have rugs? Thank you.
I have found it helpful to wear white socks and keep very tacky tape near all the places I go, If I see a flea on my while sock, I catch it in the tape and fold it over, if done right you can use the same small piece of tape to catch many of them... this of course is in addition to eradicating them, but I find I catch most of them this way that get on me.
Man as I'm watching this I picked a flea off me and tore its little head from its body.. have to make sure it's good and dead 😂 you cant squeeze them, they flatten out and become indestructible.. they're like zombies.. feed on blood, and have to take their heads off to make sure they dont come back and bite you 🤣😂🤣😂 bro, HELP! 🤣
@@priusa8113 - Don't bother your wallet with these "natural" alternatives, I've spent over a hundred bucks on natural remedies and not one of them actually kills the infestation it just keeps them at bay which isnt too great. Atm we got salt and baking soda spread around the house because apparently, that dehydrates them, welp we'll see if this works soon enough.
If helpful to anybody, after a lot of research & unsuccessful tries this is how I finally got rid of fleas for good in one weekend: . All disposable fabrics (cushions, rugs, dog bed) washed at 40 or 60, then steamed, dried on airers and bagged up and put aside. . Garden - all garden furniture put in the garage, brush up all leaves/dirt/ soak the whole garden with hose (drown them out) after spray garden with lavender oil /lemon juice diluted. . Vacuum the whole house, steam the whole house, wash bedding first thing in the morning. . Hoover and steam the car (as dog goes in the car) . Place dog in bath (deep bath) and comb entire body (wet neck first) . Put salt, baking soda and water in a spray bottle. Shake and spray on any carpets, stairs and fabrics (curtains) . Spray whole house and car with virbac indorex spray (follow instructions on can) . Put Advantage spot on treatment on dog once the current one (which didn’t work) runs out . Fleas have been gone for 6 weeks 😍
My dog recently got fleas 😢 I was gonna bomb my apartment with foggers but I’m gonna try this! the foggers would be too much of an inconvenience for me so I really hope this works
Foggers work fast, but don't have a long residual. We always recommend treating the house instead of fogging it. Let us know if you have any questions!
I just purchased some of you flea treatment i hope it works i had this problem 1 year ago and now again and worst part i don’t even have pets is so frustrating
Don't think burning the house down is the solution. Hopefully you found useful information in our videos. Visit us on our website if you have any questions.
You might be the only one who is allergic to the fleas saliva. So far that is the only explanation I have could find. Most of my family members have the same blood type and they haven't gotten but like I have.
I'm done with buying expensive products. I just shampoo my cats and pour baking soda on the floor in every room including the furniture. I repeat this process every few days plus wash everything. It works and baking soda is like 50 cents a box. No harmful chemicals or fumes.
Baking soda works very well. I use salt though. I also use beneficial nematodes which are microscopic worms that eat all 4 stages of fleas, the adult, the lava, the pupa, and the cocoon. Nematodes feast on fleas and other insects but only work in the yard. A lot of people forget to treat the outside premises of their homes. Nematodes are harmless to pets and humans but are a flea's worst nightmare...i love them.
It's true - I cannot get control after flea bombing, removing cats, vacuuming, continuously. I have bombed 4 times in the last two months and just lately put down salt and baking soda which was basically useless. There are not a lot jumping on me, but enough to show they're still here. Professional time.
Fleas are extremely difficult to get rid of. Using a bomb or fogger is not going to eliminate your infestation. 1 flea can lay 10 eggs a day! Each egg contains 60 to 100 fleas. This can allow a flea problem to get wildly out of control. We would love to assist you. Give us a call or visit our website.
A tape lint roller is your friend! Also I’m giving capstar to all my cats when I see fleas on them. Still have them somewhere in the house. Looking for white socks now...
I just paid 130$ for 4 doses of a Cheristin for cats at my local vets office. They said it was an RX topical treatment similar to the 6 pack of Revolution Plus I usually buy from them for the same price. They claimed to be out of the revolusion plus and had it on back order. When I got home I started checking Chewy and the others for this new med Cheristin they charged me a $130 for. They had always been close in price to the online sellers like Chewy on the revolution so I figured they were likely close for this new one. They didnt tell me the name before I drove up there. Just that it was equivalent and was applied every 3 months instead of monthly. That sounded great. They gave me 4 doses removed from the box for 129.99$. Chewy and Petmeds have 6 packs of the same RX Cheristin for 60 something bucks, 12 packs for 169.00$. Oh and it is applied monthly. Not tri monthly. Feeling like I just got ripped off by a vet I though I had a good relationship with. I should have asked more questions but I got a little worried when they were outta my usual stuff and just forgot to ask the right questions. I guess even with a "good" vet you really cant let your guard down for a second. They at least could have given me the whole box being that it actually costs less than half of what I just paid. I guess thats just living in the land of the free.... to rip people off as much as you please.
My dog had puppies a few months ago. She is a house dog, but we wanted to train the pups to be outside. We built a big dog pin and tried to build it away from really grassy areas. Of course, they were running around outiside the pin most of the time. Our land was actually cleared a couple years ago, so it's mostly loose dirt. However, I do live in a well vegetated region of the country, so I can see how fleas could easily be a problem. I just moved Ellie (my dog) back in a couple weeks ago after all the pups were finally in their new homes, and I immediately treated her and got a visit to the vet. I was still worried, and I think she may have fleas and brought them into my home. She sleeps with me, stays on the furniture, and basically lives like a normal house dog. I'm just worried that I won't be able to get any services to clear my house of fleas because of the pandemic.

After i scrub the bites and they foam up i let the peroxide dry and then i put calamine lotion over it. It dried them out and reduces the bumps. What you need to do is put some soap between your fingers and then kill them.

Me too:(
Honestly ready to end it all I’m tired of this & I feel absolutely ugly from all the scars. None of my family is taking this seriously and I’m the only one getting bitten

You know how i feel now q-q
Knowing that I have them makes me want to cry
What Im about to say works, but make sure your pet isnt inside for atleast 20-30 mins while this process goes.
Youll need:
Spray Bottle
Water
Dawn Dish soap (the one with the duck)
Pine Glo/Pine Sol
I know that last ingredient sounds bad, but it kills upon contact. Also this mixture leaves your treated room smelling amazing.
To make it:
Fill 1/4th of the bottle with Dawn Dish Soap
Fill 1/4th of the bottle with Pine Sol/Glo
At this point, the bottle should be halfway full
Fill the rest of the bottle with Water, and mix evenly.
Vinegar and dawn in a very warm bath. Soap them up and let it sit on their coats. I use mint flea spray in between. Spray the beds.
Hi guys here are my tips and experience with dealing fleas.
We had a 15 year old doggie that was put to sleep 1 week ago. She was being eaten alive because she couldn’t fight back the fleas. Hence the infestation of fleas. Here is what seemed to work so far:
1. Vacuum EVERY DAY. (And I vacuum the floor as well)
You know what you are talking about!
what i have no carpet ? Im going crazy iver here . my adad had a cat and dog but he’s in the hospital but the house is infested with fleass

Hi! Go online and READ about how to get rid of them. Also treat everything at least 3 times (every 2 weeks) in order to break the flea life cycle. Don't give up! You can do this 😊
Gloria Lucia Zapata-Elias. Hello, just an update but they’ve been killed off!! We haven’t had issues for weeks now. So much happier!!
Jessie What did you do to get rid of them? I’m having a flea problem too and it’s killing me!
Good luck!

I’ve resorted to wearing long white socks and walking around my house, allowing them to jump all over my legs. Then I sit down and pick them off one by one and place them into a bowl of soapy water. On day 3 of doing this, the number of fleas I get per day is shrinking.
This should work
Honestly its a good way to break the cycle. Fleas can only reproduce after drinking blood. Another method that works is vacuuming twice a day. The vibrations from the vacuum makes the flea eggs hatch, then you suck up the adults before they can feed. It's worked wonders in the past for me.

I know how you fell my dog does too. Any luck getting rid of them?
Guys use Bob Martin clear plus flea spray on your furniture, it really works!! And a tip, wear white long socks where you have the most fleas and watch them jump on, kill them with washing up liquid mixed with water in a cup. They suffocate and die straight away. My problem used to be so bad, to the point where I have scars on my legs and especially my feet from the bites. But ever since i started using the flea spray they have decreased in numbers so much. Also flea drops that you can put on your cat work quite well. I find that the collars are absolutely SHIT
Tbh he didnt touch on the root core of the problem, simple fact is that if you have an animal you will always get fleas its about regulating, and yes you can regulate to the point of almost extinction, growing up my house was so bad the kitchen sounded like it was raining from all the fleas jumping on the linoleum, you could literally hear them all hitting the floors in the dead of night literally sounded like rain, got so bad that the animals were in danger and had to be taken to the vet, he perscribed a medication called Bravecto or maybe Brevacto or Brivicto (idk the guy was indian and as such had an accent so ya know) its apparently a medication grade chemical that is ingested orally that is totally safe for animals (unless they have an allergy) whih makes them release this oil along side the skin oils in their sweat which kill the fleas when they ingest it when biting, its the absolute *BEST* flea medication ive ever experienced even after owning several dogs and cats at a time for my entire life, it complete frees the animal from basically all fleas, its a pill that they only have to take quarterly or every 3 months if i remeber correctly, the only downside is its mildly expensive and it requires a prescription from a vet meaning it requires a vet visit making it more expensive but i promise its worth it, wash the animals every week, spread diatomaceous earth on ur carpet and vacuum every single day, then schedule a hotel visit for 2-3 days, administer the medicine to ur animal, then wash ur animal again once at home, then again at the hotel, ur pup and or kitty should now be relatively flea free, while ur in the hotel fumigate the house with a name brand insecticide like raid or something and let it chill for the entire time ur at the hotel, and then... wait for it.... ...do it all again in a month (aside from the medicine which should only be taken as perscribed) and after 3 or 4 times of doing this youll be as close to flea free as you can get, after that just make sure to keep ur carpets dry and cool and vacuum often and you should be good, hope this helps someone out there 👍
I get rid of them for a few days and the come right back. I got them in my house.
Fleas can take up to 30 days to control and eliminate.
Muhammad Mapp aapne kya kia fleas ko kam karne ke liye
Thank you for the great video! I have tiles and have no carpets and I
have fleas plaguing my whole apartment, mattress and vinyl sofa
included. Should I just get a powerful steamer since I think it's hotter
and probably good for my mattress or should I invest in a normal vacuum
cleaner because I don't have rugs? Thank you.
What did you do
This guy is the bob ross of lawn care
Most of this video was about identifying whether or not you have fleas.
I already know that that’s why I was looking for a video to get rid of them.
I love the way you started the video
Thank you. We put a lot of work to make sure that we make these videos easy on the eyes!
*fleas, are you kidding me?* Why did he open with that? LMAO
me and my cat are both scratching as we watch this, thanks i hope we solve this
The fleas typically just go after my dog they seem to not care for me but I feel bad for my dog
Hopefully, you helped the dog with a flea bath and sprayed your house.
Well I used the spray and can they recommend and worked !!! Thanks
I threw a ton of salt outside today we’ll see how the fleas fair with dehydration
Salt KILLS GRASS
@@flyfishing1776 KILL THE GRASS
Salt sure works inside, on everything
It works fast also
Thanks So much now I can defeat flea!!
Glad we could help. Visit us on our website if you need additional information.
Nematodes (for outside) and food grade diatomaceous earth for inside are effective, non-chemical ways of addressing fleas.
What if my dog licks her paws ?
@@MalikiheBerry26 Don't most dogs? Pretty sure not a problem
Im asking if she steps in the diatomaceous earth and lick her paws, would that make her sick?
@@MalikiheBerry26 Not if it's food grade.
Thank you for your feedback.
Thanx pappa.
Cant we just use dawn dish soap & water tho?
Unfortunately, This will not eliminate your issue.
@@solutionspestandlawn True!
All years I lived here and taking care of my feral cats outside never had fleas TILL NOW!
Use indorex i tried everything and nothing worked but indorex spray worked first time
Man as I'm watching this I picked a flea off me and tore its little head from its body.. have to make sure it's good and dead 😂 you cant squeeze them, they flatten out and become indestructible.. they're like zombies.. feed on blood, and have to take their heads off to make sure they dont come back and bite you 🤣😂🤣😂 bro, HELP! 🤣
Be caustious the floor is extremely slippery after spraying on hard floors. Don't slip in the poison
You should allow the chemicals at least 4 hours to be in the area you sprayed .
KJCurtis6595 these chemicals are poison! Any natural alternatives?? Thanks
@@priusa8113 no
This made me lol
@@priusa8113 - Don't bother your wallet with these "natural" alternatives, I've spent over a hundred bucks on natural remedies and not one of them actually kills the infestation it just keeps them at bay which isnt too great. Atm we got salt and baking soda spread around the house because apparently, that dehydrates them, welp we'll see if this works soon enough.
If helpful to anybody, after a lot of research & unsuccessful tries this is how I finally got rid of fleas for good in one weekend:
. All disposable fabrics (cushions, rugs, dog bed) washed at 40 or 60, then steamed, dried on airers and bagged up and put aside.
. Garden - all garden furniture put in the garage, brush up all leaves/dirt/ soak the whole garden with hose (drown them out) after spray garden with lavender oil /lemon juice diluted.
. Vacuum the whole house, steam the whole house, wash bedding first thing in the morning.
. Hoover and steam the car (as dog goes in the car)
. Place dog in bath (deep bath) and comb entire body (wet neck first)
. Put salt, baking soda and water in a spray bottle. Shake and spray on any carpets, stairs and fabrics (curtains)
. Spray whole house and car with virbac indorex spray (follow instructions on can)
. Put Advantage spot on treatment on dog once the current one (which didn’t work) runs out
. Fleas have been gone for 6 weeks 😍
1) Identification
2) Inspection
3) Control
4) Prevention
Good luck for finals my fellas ;)
Forgot step 5)
If all else fails, nuke the house.
Maybe there's rat mites too,so more steps needed

I had big time problem all over my house.....thank you for sharing 🙂
Bruh We dont even have pets yet we still caught fleas 😭

My dog recently got fleas 😢 I was gonna bomb my apartment with foggers but I’m gonna try this! the foggers would be too much of an inconvenience for me so I really hope this works
Foggers work fast, but don't have a long residual. We always recommend treating the house instead of fogging it. Let us know if you have any questions!
By now I’m considering adopting the fleas too😓
I just purchased some of you flea treatment i hope it works i had this problem 1 year ago and now again and worst part i don’t even have pets is so frustrating
Let us know how it works for you. If you have any questions, feel free to email us.
Did it work?
I’m curious, are cedar oil products useful at all?
Will burning down my house work or will they come back?
Don't think burning the house down is the solution. Hopefully you found useful information in our videos. Visit us on our website if you have any questions.

You might be the only one who is allergic to the fleas saliva. So far that is the only explanation I have could find. Most of my family members have the same blood type and they haven't gotten but like I have.
Can this help for dogs under 6lbs chihuahua is whom I'm talking about and where can I find it
I'm done with buying expensive products.
Has this made your home flea-free? Or is it just a temporary fix? No shade, I'm just looking for things that work to 100% eliminate the issue.
Well spoken and to the point. TFS
You're welcome !
Flea treatments usually require 2-4 treatments, as the eggs hatch and restart the process each week.
Have any recommendations for pet friendly stuff
You mention treating carpets and floors, what about couches and other fabric surfaces?
Flex 10-10 is safe to use on your furniture. Just be sure to allow the product to completely dry before resuming all normal activities.
A tape lint roller is your friend! Also I’m giving capstar to all my cats when I see fleas on them. Still have them somewhere in the house. Looking for white socks now...
Sir I live in a tropical country. What are the precautions I can or should take? I have pets at home and live in an apartment.
Make cheap and easy flea traps!

If you don't have access to a pest control company, we offer products to homeowners to treat their homes themselves. Visit us on our website for more information.
I’m in quarantine and can’t access anything and I have about twenty bites already I’m itchy and annoyed, how can I get this under control
Hi how r u so far? What did u do to get rid of them? Coz i have the same situation. Ive got bites everyday and night
@@abbigailisit442 Also currently dealing with it :/
@@gamerprince-tl5hg hello. Fleas had stopped biting me already . Try putting a bowl of water with dishwashing liquid under a lamp every night. And also use insect repellent lotion before going to sleep.
I got ate up by fleas (81 bites to be accurate) and this is what i did. I got a new cheap toothbrush and dipped it in hydrogen peroxide then I gently scrubbed the bite. IIT FEELS AMAZING!! After i scrub the bites and they foam up i let the peroxide dry and then i put calamine lotion over it. It dried them out and reduces the bumps. Its been three days and most of the bites are smooth with a tiny little scab. I also took 2 benadryl every 4 hours.
we literally sprayed the whole house down with flea poison and gave my cat a long bath and a few days later they showed back up 😐 i cant do this
Omg im dealing with the same exact thing 😭😭 we even sprayed poison on our yard , we tried everything , we got rid of them but they came back
Get nexgard. One flavored pill per month will kill all fleas within 24 hours & last a month. 15$ per pet. For cats frontline spray. Once a month. I just laid out a couple hundred bucks for 3 months & 4 dogs 4 cats. It's the best money I ever spent. I had been using harts flea & tick shampoo several times & finally went to the vet.
Get rid of your cat, she is their host
Is vacuuming just as effective?
I'm working on my certification and this is solid info

Do you have an organic way? I mean i pulled the lawn and instead planted vegetables and fruit trees!
You can try our Essentria IC3. This is all natural and all organic.
The whole entire year I was thinking it was bed bugs I had but it was fleas all along! They like to come hide in my bed and I would get bit by them like crazy! They target my ankle/feet mostly smh nasty bugs. Kept thinking it was mosquitos that bit me to. It would be hard for me to kill them cause they jump so quick and they are so hard to kill! I would be squishing them like crazy and it would still be alive moving around 😰😰 my feet looks so ugly right now and have dry spots all over them 😩
Omg I know. We look like we have chicken pox because of stupid fleas
