      Yeah, and Larry just seems more...real than the other "satisfying video"-style RUclips detailers (not all RUclips detailers, of which there are plenty of great ones; I just mean the ones in that very popular style). Even when he does these "disgusting" style details, I actually can believe that this organically came up. With the other channels, it just seems like they're desperately on the lookout for the most disgusting vehicles they can find, for fear that a regular old vehicle might not get enough views.
      Also, I really can't stand all these style of RUclips detailers putting out their own product line, which are just generic detailing products that they put their label on. I deeply respect that Larry at the very least puts in the WORK to make these products his own and does a lot of his own actual mixes/creations.

    Love this one!! I bought my dream truck, a 2006 suburban 2500 that lived as a farm truck for the last year or so. The interior was covered in dirt and animal hair, so I’ve been stripping the interior down to the body itself in preparation for a good power washing (and much more). Also cleaning every interior part that has been removed, inside and out, before it goes back in. Can’t wait to get it all back together and hopefully cleaner than it came from the factory!

Couldn’t you make a video in which you test and show the boarderline after which certain materials are getting damaged…? Like the typical „when does Car paint get burned through using a rotary polisher“ but for other materials as leather, plastic, rubber and so on.

    • @evilspoons
      @evilspoons 2 года назад +6

      The leather on these GMs is not "natural", it's got something that makes it weird and plastic. I imagine that plus the cuts in it just makes the job "get the grease out and to hell with it".

    • @Adierit

      As long as you wipe up excess water, and condition properly after steaming then there is very low risk of damaging the leather.

    One of the most notable things about Larry is, after doing the entire detail, he says, ” *we* fixed the headliner, *we* cleaned it up, *we* painted this”, etc.. Maybe there are more people helping him off camera, but the fact that he doesn’t take sole credit for everything he does is highly respectable. I’ve had too many managers who never lift a finger, make *I* statements, as if they did anything and never credit the team that actually did the work.
