The three together are electrifying, and Luciano tops just about everyone's list as the greatest tenor who ever lived. He will always be celebrated for his great charitable works as well. Carrera's astonishingly good. Domingos's simply just great. But Pavarotti... he is something more. Miss him so much. That voice had so much love and meaning. And he was so sweet and kind too. Such a treasure. The world suffered a hard loss in 2007 when God took him from us. Rest in peace, Maestro. We love you.

I remember this like it was yesterday even though I must have been about 6 years old. I think they put it on as part of Italia 90. My dad encouraged us to watch it and we recorded it on VHS. Even now the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end during this performance. Absolutely wonderful.

I remember this like it was yesterday even though I must have been about 6 years old. I think they put it on as part of Italia 90. My dad encouraged us to watch it and we recorded it on VHS. Even now the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end during this performance. Absolutely wonderful.
