We’re Marianne and Chris, a married couple from the UK. After some life changing events we decided that life was just too short. We sold all our belongings, bought an old Campervan & rented our house to travel full time. The aim is to attempt to visit every country in the world in either our van or with a backpack. We started videoing our travels for our family and then decided it was a wonderful way to document and share our adventures.
Our latest adventure started in January 2020 when we left the UK in an attempt to drive our van all the way around the world. Let the adventures continue.

I remember visiting Sirence with my wife in winter, it was freezing. However, in the evening we found a very small restaurant/bar. We had the most delicious meal, sat in front of a roaring open fire and drinking the local wine. Even better was a musician playing traditional Turkish music.
It was one of those nights that you never wanted to end!

What beautiful weather for this time of year. We’ve just gone into tier 4 in London (it’s like the first lockdown), means no mixing even over Xmas. One of my favourite little villages,so pretty and a great place to shop.Lovely wine and crafts and terraced farms.It used to be a Greek village until the terrible swap of people.
dont worry guys. you are so kind and so nice that you won the hearts of people who are following you. in case of any problem about the curfews and the restrictions, I'm sure you'll find a way out and there will be many people who are genuinely willing to give a hand about the campsites and etc. (just like Atilla and the other lady that contacted you) I hope things go great for you two, and you won't need any of the help but if you do, know that there will always be someone for you.

The enthusiasm when you went into the wine shop has been noted ha ha.. and you only bought a couple of bottles? ha ha..Here in Spain we've just come out of municipal lockdown, provincial movement should open up on Friday but every 5 minutes things change... Hey ho... nothing we do about it! Stay safe..
Yes ... it is very changeable everywhere ... and we did end up buying 3 bottles !! one each and one for when we hit 50K subs LOL ... we don't know where or when ... but we think to celebrate it with a bottle of Turkish wine would be great !! woo hoo !!

I feel so sad and bad...for the people trying to sell something and no tourist.I’ve been to Sirince a few times and those winding lanes and streets were packed with people, you couldn’t just walk had to stand still for people to pass.
Hope you will find a space to stay in with the second wave...stay safe.

I'm so jealous of the beautiful campground and scenery. We had to cancel our annual Christmas trip to South Carolina and Florida because of Covid. Hopefully, we'll all be vaccinated soon and go back to normal.

Our lovely place in Turkey Şerence. Wow. We have visited Four time Şerence. Something strange about Şerence :
Şirince acquired world-wide fame when tourists flocked to the village in December 2012 to witness the Mayan Apocalypse, as New Age mystics believed its "positive energy" would aid in weathering the catastrophe , during the 2012 phenomenon.
The people told us therefore in December 2012, Şerence received the big numbers of Tourists.Good December for the people of Şerence.

Such genuinely lovely people in Turkey, it is definitely on our bucket list now after watching your travels. Finally our own strict restrictions here in Spain have been lifted in Andalusia, temporarily until 10th January so we have packed our van today and head out in the morning to explore the Cordoba Province, hopefully until after Christmas so Feliz Navidad and keep staying safe guys 👍🍷🧑🎄🎅🏼

In the USA the cheapest wines are either on the bottom shelf or completely hidden from view. The biggest sellers here are the cheapest and strongest-Thunderbird, MD 2020 and Night Train Express. I think they all cost about 3 or 4 dollars though I haven't had any of these in many years.

Looks amazing ,those wines 👍 all those places to camp , back here in UK as you've probably seen on other van life channels ,camping anywhere has become a nightmare many signs saying no overnight parking ,even places that people have been using for ages , not sure why the UK is going like this but its sad in your own country people feeling alienated its sad , thank goodness for yours and others van life videos least we can glimpse some more sensible ways ,anyway love the channel as always 🚐👍

I don't know you have been Pamukkale ? If not, you should be go there as well. It's very big white mountains and cover very hot water. This place it's so close to Sirince village and Selcuk town. Have a good time keep safe journey 👍

You guys could'nt possiblysu ask for a better place to be stranded for another lockdown year.There would be a lot of snow and subzero temperatures in northern Turkey .Southern Turkey is definitely your best bet .All the best !

Any word on when Turkey will get vaccines ? You've probably heard that they've started in the UK and US , but mostly for health care workers and elderly. Nice looking hostel . I could stay there for days !

Yep the videos are between days and 3 weeks behind ... it means we can have a couple of days off for Christmas / New Year - we work on average 7 - 10 hours a day on admin days - and then we have to edit/ live, drive, film, shop, do house jobs .. etc LOL - the life of a travel blogger that makes 2 videos a week which take 12 hours each .... is really not a glamours one !! I am Turkish and this is not traditional Turkish life! 😂, just like %95 of my contemporaries I was born and raised within concrete buildings in istanbul, with almost 0 green life. This is luxurious lifestyle and village for many Turks.

I have to say I was looking where I was 2 weeks ago no phone no laptop no contract with anybody I know and now I find myself scanning through RUclips I'm comparing my life with other people's I'll have to say I did find this information that I'm reading answering from this couple on their jolly holiday travel around Turkey in their lovely van very interesting and very reliable sharing very important information and obviously wizkids wig a video come now or I computer and so forth a lot better than me but I just put it down to old age but I also have the couple got plenty of support and help along their trips and how long their wives and also I hope they know that there's lots of people waiting to meet them and help them on their road trip to pastors greener and also see that things are better in the flesh than they are in the brochures I've right now I'm already planning your next road trip back to my favourite place in the world all the best and best wishes xxxxxxxxxxxx
