DIY RockShox Elastomers for $30
Parts for older (~20 years or more) are becoming harder and harder to find. The most replaced part on these older hybrid spring/elastomer/oil shocks are the elastomers. Once they form a crack/split they go south really quickly. One store online (located in NM) is likely selling the remaining NOS of these elastomers at a whopping $55 a pair plus applicable tax/shipping. Here I show how you can find stock to make your own (2.5 sets in fact) for only $30
