ELEVENTH JULY 2024: Taxpayers’ Day
“We need relief for everyone”
According to the Taxpayers' Association, citizens in Germany will be working for the state until Thursday this year. The "Taxpayers' Day" as dubbed by the association therefore falls on July 11. This applies to a fictitious average household of 2.3 people who earn their income from work. The tax burden is higher for singles, lower for single parents, for example. In recent years, the "day of remembrance" has fluctuated around the middle of July, but last year it fell on July 12.
