Big fan of yours, TSLA and of course Elon. But wtf wouldn't you mention that one big theme of the day was the fact that growth would be "notably lower in 2024". This was a theme through much of the call, but you gave it no mention. Please provide a balanced perspective.
Because he gets paid to sell the dream. If Tesla blows up, so does his channel and income. He NEVER addresses the negatives and if he does he spins it to a positive. Elon said some scary stuff on the call.
Everything, everywhere at all times is bullish for Tesla. Don’t worry, there is a bullish thesis behind notably lower production.

Major Focus is Shifting from pushing more 3 & Y, to setting up the Next Gen Build System, Debugging, Verifying, and Refining that, but "Some" energy on continuing to Ramp the Y in Austin & Berlin, will continue, as they also expand Both if those Facilities.

If you grade the 500 stocks in the S&P index, with the average performer getting a C grade, then TSLA doesn't get an A grade or a B grade; TSLA doesn't even merit a C grade. At most, TSLA gets a D grade. But the CEO gets the most lucrative compensation package in history... Somethin' don't smell right here.

There is no way to sugarcoat this disaster! Stephen, we would like you to give actual advice. We don’t need someone acting as Elon‘s brother-in-law, who’s just going to say everything that’s going on is perfect. You should’ve advised that some people sell a portion of their Tesla holdings before the call, to purchase back later. I sold 2/3 of my shares before the call and I’m certainly glad I did, and I still took a beating!

I’ve just sold. 1024 shares at a loss. Not terrible but it hurt. I’d like to say I enjoyed the ride but christ it has absorbed an entire year of my life. Kudos to you all going long and I really do wish you well but Cybertruck was a vanity project. Yes I’m sure it’s amazing but why oh why make the design so difficult to manufacturer ??? That worries me on its own but why focus on Cybertruck before bringing to the global market the model 2? Look at China sales and Tesla has focused the Cybertruck before model 2 . Commercially it doesn’t make sense. And lastly there are countless people saying they’ve had enough and there is nothing in 2024 that I can see that will pump the stock now. It needs the model 2 or some glorious sales figures and musk has shot that down for 24 hence the drop. Good luck all

Let’s be real - Tesla is the one most volatile stocks in the market and BY FAR the most volatile in the top 10. This could be back to $200 by next week.
Initial Optimus production in Austin during the second half of 2025 strongly implies that the South Extension of the main factory is for additional space needed for Optimus production. If the Boring Company tunnel currently being constructed towards that extension comes up inside the new area, that will confirm the tunnel will be for newly built Optimus robots to walk themselves through to the Optimus Inventory/Shipping in the new End Of Line building on the west side of the highway.

They have been lazy with new models lately. CT should have started 2 years ago and the 25K car should begin this year to maintain high growth

Wall Street's knickers are in a twist because they won't hit their target AVERAGE growth rate of 50%. All other US OEMs have reduced their EV production significantly and Tesla continues to increase them. As you rightly say, about two million. And that's in the "gap" between two huge growth surges. Last year M3/MY and 2025 next gen (and bot). I'm "buying the dip" and I'm in for the long-term.

Interest rates should be simple interest, not compounding.
That way the interest is paid first and then you start paying principle with a much sorter loan term.

I feel like this was gonna be the title of the video regardless. There has yet to be a video on this channel that isn't extremely bullish which seems unrealistic to reflect reality for any company. @@charliechuck1341 I have personally not had any issues with my door handles during winter or the rest of the year. The door handles do tend to break on the older model S though, so I may have been lucky.
But with that being said these are both Tesla-specific design issues and nothing really to do with electric cars as such. They are also solved by preheating the car for 20 minutes through the app (which you would do in the winter time anyway). During the last 12 months I have supercharged my car in both -20 and +37 degrees Celcius with no issues.

That's my beef as well. What surprised me is the fact Tesla will fill their CT pre orders this year. That means about 19 out of 20 were canceled.
I think there were technologies that needed to be matured before Next Gen. Cyber Truck and semi brought those about. An example: Steer by wire. If you want to do the unboxxed manufacturing method, you cannot have a physical steering rod for unboxxed construction but you CAN snap together an electrical connector. Cybertruck and semi create a demand for those technologies to bring about a scale than makes them profitable.
I predict the Next Gen will have a version of ethernet ring, 48v and steer by wire. Not because they are cutting edge but because they enable unboxxed construction which enables a fast production rate with the same labor or even less. If you can output more with tge same labor input, your cost per unit goes down.

@@MrCPPG 100% correct. In addition, they'll need brake-by-wire as hydraulic tubes can't run the length of the vehicle either. The CT acts as a technology preview, a sort of test production line that also happens to make a lot of money once ramped. And the halo effect is enormous. Love it or hate it you know it's a Tesla. How many other trucks can be identified by just the profile? See the reaction of kids when they see it. They know what the future looks like 🙂
I suggest that Wall Street should think about sitting the next couple of innings out. They can't handle the brilliance of this company.

It is obvious that the ramp of the 4680 battery has been much more challenging than anticipated. Now it appears that the technical difficulties have been resolved, and the only thing lacking is a reliable supply of cathodes. This too will be resolved. Elon told us years ago that batteries would be a problem, and again he was right. Everything Tesla makes requires batteries. I am amazed at how well the company has been doing considering these constraints. Elon warned us last year that we could expect some tough times ahead. Those times are here. I’m buying more stock.

On the CT deliveries, they said that they expect that existing preorders will be filled this year, and an annualised rate of 250k/yr. Which is a lot lower than the estimated number of preorders. I'd love to get some comment on that pls
