Rich Taylor Yeah we do the same! We raise a pig or get someone to raise it for us and then we kill it (Humanely of course). Skin it and use the skin for chicharones. Then the meat is cut up my dad usually keeps the ribs for himself and the head we use for tamales. The rest is cut into pieces and used for carnitas. Then we can spend about a month or more just eating that.

I love to see Gordon Ramsey going to different locations and trying regional specialities…catfish, king crab, wild pig and more! He’s such a “people” person, gets along wirh everyone, isn’t afraid to fail, and just keeps trying .
I love how he never looks like he's being prudish, he's EXCITED to do this, wonderful
0:50
he’ll make you say things you haven’t said in a while
Me after watching Hell’s Kitchen: good luck with that
It's kitchen nightmares
Or hell hotel
You mixed both of them 😂
Imagine Gordon was you dentist and was teaching you how to brush you teeth.
Grab a brush, nice and tight. A touch of toothpaste. A little bit of oliver, salt and pepper. Put the brush in your mouth and move gently. Feel the texture in your mouth, soft, and fluffy, beautiful. The toothpaste melts completely in your mouth, lovely just lovely. When you're done just spit it out. You see the bubbles of air in the toothpaste? That's perfection. They are gorgeous and most incredible.
*let the brush do the work...
You forgot to include his favourite phrase "the most incredible".
Once you're done, you'll be left with the most incredible feeling of cleanliness. Achieving fresh breath in less than five minutes...DONE!
Who's Oliver and what's he doing on my toothbrush?
You forgot one crucial thing Ramsay would say...."IT'S FUCKING CLEEAAAAAAAANNNNNN!!!!"
+halffulltome I think he meant olive oil
"My father taught me all this"
You sir have just taught 20 million people around the world
Gordon: Makes a catfish salad thing
Oklahomans: Ah yes... salad...
Tanner McNeill You want that fried?
Minotaur1776 i mean yea aha
Makes a catfish salad thing? Lol bruh
As an Oklahoman I full heartedly agree that this is what I would’ve said
As an Oklahoman, I regret to inform you that I hate catfish.

Normal, that's what you expect from a tosser
This is whole new side of Gordan I never knew existed. He is so humble yet willing to go off his normal "beaten path"
This makes me further believe he's not the arrogant, pretentious snob his some shows made him out to be.
captain porkie He’s never pretentious, he has a high standard and is vicious because that’s what you expect in the business and it’s the way he was trained by his mentor. Everything he shouts in the kitchen is not personal, it’s about the job.
and im sure theyll tell him to amp it up for viewership
Junder R what are you on about?
captain porkie yea man watch him on the kid shows he’s like the nicest guy ever it’s all just an act and character
He's not really pretentious he just doesn't fuck around and tells people what he thinks not what they want to hear
Born and raised in Oklahoma and though very little happens out here, I have to say THIS was very entertaining to watch lol
I hate seafood, but Gordon Ramsey could serve me dog shit and make it look appetizing.
Lol you talk about hating seafood then go to dog shit.
Catfish isn't from the sea
seafood basically anything that lives in water
+Robert Smith seafood is used as a pretty general term. pretty much everyone i've ever met calls freshwater fish seafood.
What the fuck is wrong with you?
“You can’t noodle on your own”

To far
He's not wrong. It's really stupid to do it alone. You get yourself bitten by a cotton mouth or a ripped open by a snapping turtle and you're going to wish you had someone there to pull you out before the drown or bleed to death.
drschplatt oh my apologies are you some kind of *noodle* expert?
maybe not an expert, but certainly not an idiot.
Nitro Esio Trot hell yeah he is, hes had mac n cheese and ramen...so he knows noodles
takes a dirty catfish from out of a muddy lake and makes it look like it could be served in the top restaurants in the world. i love it.
Austin B right? bro that's the best. My family is Mexican and when we have reunions we don't go to a super market to buy beef or pork. We just go pick one out and within hrs that's the best meal we will have until we go again in some years
Rich Taylor Yeah we do the same!
Umm he is a porfessional chef you know
Knowing the south, the fisherman wanted his pay in the form of Gordon serving him that catfish for a meal
Love this! I'm from Oklahoma and can definitely handle a good catfish. The catfish at the end looked amazing and now I'm hungry.
jdawn1982 yum river fish.. So.. Fresh?
jdawn1982 No kidding. Mouth was watering. I don't suppose there's any noodling going in winter but when it comes time I gotta get some catfish and try it with that marinade.
