  • The Book of Mormon is the most accurate work on government that we have. It is wonderful to study the words of the Constitution. It is great to read the words of the Founding Fathers as well as John Locke, Blackstone, Montesquieu and others. But if we want to truly understand the very heart of our Constitutional law, we should study the Book of Mormon. It is the key to restoring liberty and law in our nation today.
Government is fundamental to salvation and individuals will be held accountable for all actions made in this regard (D&C 134: 1). When Christ came here to America, to the Nephites, he gave commentary on the teachings of Isaiah concerning the latter days. One of His major themes was the establishment of the government of the United States, the Constitutional government on this land. The Savior specifically and repeatedly taught that modern Israel would be established as a free people in the promised land. Both the Laws of Mosiah and the Constitutional Law on this land were brought forth by Godly and righteous men through inspiration from Heaven. Both were divinely approved of God.
It is no accident that all of the principles of the Laws of Mosiah can be found in the Constitutional law upon which this nation, the United States of America was established. In addition to the parallels in the establishment of these two governments, the enemies of these governments are also prophetically similar.

YES! The Book of Mormon is why I fell in love with America and our constitution and politics in general. God's laws are not just spiritual, they are physical and political and social, etc. Love this.

Love this!❤ Liberty is the foundation of our existence:
"All truth is independent in that sphere in which God has placed it, to act for itself, as all intelligence also; otherwise there is no existence." -D&C 93:30

I LOVE Mosiah 29. This is something I've been trying to express to others for years. If we follow this and apply it's principles, we can help the upcoming generation on how to fight for ours, and their liberties. We can do this my beloved friends.

Another thoughtful, insightful and inspiring episode. I will definitely be reading the war chapters in The book of Mormon with a new lens and teach my children to do so as well. Thank you so much, Hannah!

I wrote about this in great detail and video years ago, I can't wait to live the remaster now.
Moreover Christ is political he always has been, I dont understand how this was lost in translation.
The reason Christ had to sacrifice himself was because he couldn't save others without circuit breaking the gamut of ascension, so he had to sacrifice himself instead.
At this return now, he comes with the remembrance that we are the Angels of Love and Freedom,
This remembrance unlocks the New Millennium...

The church is the Kingdom of God and holds a purer form of his government. It is the standard we should seek to attain in this life.
I have learned to balance spiritual with physical , and temporal with eternal. Notice that you shouldn't mix the two separate sets. God is eternal and has both a spirit and physical body. The Adversary is also eternal being of a spirit without glory. We are also being with parts spiritual and physical. The physical part is temporal with potential to become eternal in some glory after the resurrection.

Thanks for the movie recommendations. I’m already done watching one and have started another. Very educational on others who have suffered for Christ from various backgrounds.
