As a worship leader it's so easy to get caught up in all the Sunday morning details in trying to pull all the technical and musical elements together in short-order, without losing sight of God using us (broken vessels) to help bring His people to the foot of the cross each Sunday through worship.

It starts with a right attitude of the heart. That we are together to glorify and worship God. Patience with one another. As one of the members in sound tech team, one of the challenges is the disagreements because of different preferences.

Regarding the monitor mix vs the FOH mix, it makes sense that the musicians on stage have first preference provided that you are using an IEM system. FOH mix should be for the FOH engineer in terms of first preference.

Get rid of all the instruments and have the congregation sing. That is what God wants to hear.
