i was raised in an abusive household, in a christian cult. i ran away to a big city to find freedom, which i thought meant living to your hearts desires. i ended up in so many precarious situations, and living with other abusers, because that was all i knew. I was living in so much sin. I experienced homelessness, assault, everything, and i had no idea who i was. i thought love was pleasing people so that they wouldn't get mad at you. i almost ended up living a fully lesbian lifestyle, in a new age community. men terrified me. i constantly felt unsafe in my body. jesus whispered to me on a hiking trip in the country and i felt a need to pray. i prayed with my friend and the spirit moved over us both. Jesus led me to leave the city i was living in and live in a small village. he put me in isolation, and began to scrape away alllllllll of the deceit and strongholds. he led me to fast from cooked food for almost 10 months, and walked me through deliverance. led me to a church, and i am still being sanctified day by day. daily he shows me a new aspect of who he is. he led me to a healthy work environment, healthy friendships, a healthy church. the complete opposite of my past life. i am no longer dissociated. i no longer have ptsd. this worship set stayed on repeat when i was living in the village. i had no one, but God. worship truly is a weapon of warfare. Jesus you are so good.
My heart cried out in praise to God when I read your testimony!! I’m in tears, because I can relate to certain aspects of your story especially the people pleasing part. I’m so glad you found true freedom for your soul through Christ. It reminded me that God is alive and at work in the hearts of His people. When I saw this worship, I felt like I cheated on God for the world. God raised me as a true worshiper, but I corrupted myself by conforming myself to the world. I still worship, but this showed me a purity and unadulterated worship that God was expecting from me. I turn to God today ❤

My husband passed last month in December. I have since said that I will not sink because I know who I am and whose I am. And I will adjust my crown daily. I have built my life on His firm foundations. And even when the storms of this life come, I will be able to raise my hands and praise God through the storm.

I'm 22 years old and I was forgeting about God... that's why something bad happened to me. But then i got healed. I opened my heart and eyes to the Lord God. Embracing his love for me. And I believe nothing bad will ever happen to me because i got Our Father, Son of God and the Holy Spirit with me. Only God can save me. I give him my life and soul. This is the first times I’ve listened to you; let me tell you there is a powerful anointing on your worship and piano. Strong, yet gentle, as the Father is gentle. The presence of Holy Spirit is very evident. Keep worshipping. God sees your heart is after Him. He will continue to use you. There’s healing in your worship.

I have been struggling with anxiety for 2 years. Meaningwhile, I graduated em medschool e started working. It's a blessing, but a huge responsability dealing with lives, too much stress involved and sometimes gives me crisis of anxiety. One of the things that calms my nerves is talking to Jesus and listening to worships here on youtube. I found this worship session like this. Thank you for singing for Jesus, it's a reminder that He is in control in every aspect of my life, that I found cure and peace with Him every time I needed. ♥

Hey man! Awesome session! I'd just like to share some thoughts: There's a moment 34:50 where you say that God wouldn't be disappointed with our "fall shorts" or our "sins". In some sense, I disagree. Not saying that our sin would affect him or change his love for us, but in Ephesians 4:30, after warning agains a long list of sins, the apostle says: "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." So, it's very clear to me that our sins may grieve the Holy Spirit of God, which is a terrible thing. I believe we should fight against our flesh as much as we can (1 Chorintians 9:27), but never forget that "we have an advocate with the Father-Jesus Christ, the Righteous One." (1 John 2:1).
Hey bro! I replied on Instagram but I'll share here too for anyone else reading. I agree with you! Of course the Lord takes sin seriously and we should repent. But I also think we can beat ourselves up over the things that He has already forgiven. Or maybe we think that God is angry with us and doesn't want to speak to us because we have made a mistake, but instead he wants to restore us and welcome us again. The "falling short" I was singing about here was more in terms of when we pray big prayers and sing things like "You're all I want" but then we get distracted with other things... we can get discouraged but it doesn't mean that the prayer wasn't real on sincere. But it's hard to convey all of that in a spontaneous song I guess! Thanks for sharing :)

I just wanted to let you know that while listening to this I had the craziest spiritual encounter with God that I was not expecting. I closed my eyes during the song about the throne room, because I was just enjoying the music and all of a sudden, I was there with Jesus right by a throne and the throne was red and beautiful just as a king's throne would be and all I could see were Jesus' feet and He was wearing sandals. He wasn't wearing anything fancy. Not fancy shoes, BUT SANDALS. And I felt such peace and joy while I was there. (': I didn't want to leave, but it only lasted for a moment. Jesus is real. God is real. Heaven is real. The throne room is real. If you're questioning your faith or having doubts, this is your sign that God is real
This reminded me to return to my first love. To go back to seeking God and not complicating my walk. When I first became a Christian I just wanted to know God, now I’ve distracted myself with regulations and entertainment. It was all about knowing Him from the start and never should’ve changed. Pray I’ll continue on this path, the prayers of the righteous have power.
Mr Ogden, This is the first time I’ve ever heard your worship sessions. I am so blessed to be in the presence of the Lord during this worship time. I started listening early this morning at 3:45am as I sat down to write in my journal. What deep-calling, deep-adoration, deep-longing worship you give to Father God. I so loved being in His presence along with you as you worshipped our God. Thank you so very much for giving all your giftings to He alone who deserves all that you are. I have to mention how lovely it was that as you gave worship on your piano and with your voice, even the outdoor creation gave its beauty to your worship session…the fog rolled in and as it got darker less buildings could be seen and more lights could be seen. As your session was ending the darkness outside and in the room brought a sweet conclusion to the end of your worship time. Thank you for your ministry sir. I will definitely listen and be a part of more of your worship sessions.

Yesterday a man approached my car way out in the wilderness while I was camping. We were all alone, and I was hesitant. He was searching for jumper cables because his car had died, and he had walked four miles to find me. I didn't have any, but I called 911 to see if they could help him. The man's phone was also broken and he had no money. The dispatcher took his information and said they would send someone out in the morning. I gave the man a cup of water, and he left, but I kept thinking about him, and I couldn't get him off of my mind, so I decided to go look for him again. When I found him close by, I told him to get in, and that I would take him back to his camp. At first he was hesitant because he hadn't showered in a long time, but I convinced him that it was okay. Jonathan Ogden, my favorite worship leader, was playing on the radio as we talked. The man said he was from Odessa, Texas and that he was going through a rough time in life. I told him I knew how rough life could be, but that God always has a plan. He started to cry. The Holy Spirit was surely with us. He went on, 'I've been trying so hard to find my place in this world, but nothing seems to ever end up right.' I told him I get it. He then asked if I work at Starbucks. I told him I do. I told him it's not where I ever thought I would end up working, but that I think God has a plan and purpose in it. I told him that nine years ago I had a stroke and heart surgery, and that I knew how hard life can get, but that God always has a plan for us. More tears. This moment felt sacred. I told him to hang on, that it would get better, and that God is always working. He told me that every day he prays to God that he would bring him home. I told him I get it. I used to pray that prayer too. I asked him his name. Caleb. When we got to back to his camp, I saw that he was almost out of food, and so I gave him twelve cans of black beans and some bananas. Before I was about to leave he asked me if he could have just one more cup of water. As I went to my car to get grab the water, he reached out his cup for me to fill it. I handed him the jug. 'Here, you can have it all.' He looked me straight in the eyes again with tears and said he prayed two days ago for water. I left soon after. I called 911 again just to let them know that he really needed some help out there, and that his water wouldn't last very long. She understood. After I got back to my camp, I got a call from the sheriff who said he could come out in a while after he finished up with an emergency, but that he wasn't going to be able to jump his car for liability reasons, but that he would go check on him. I asked the officer if I went with him, if he would let me use his cables to jump his car with mine. He said that he would and we decided to meet a little while later. When the officer arrived, we found the road out to Caleb's camp, and I let the officer know that he might need some resources to help him. The officer looked surprised, and all of a sudden, he didn't want to go help him anymore. He said that his backup was an hour away, and that he didn't want to get into the position of suicide by cop. I told him I get it, but I just kept looking at him intently. The officer continued to tell me stories of how oftentimes this ends up going wrong, and he felt there was too much risk involved. I told him again. I get it, but he might die out there with little water. He told me a few more stories about why he thought it was a bad idea, and then told me to hang on while he ran Caleb's name through the system. There was no record of Caleb being registered in Texas. I looked at him again. I told him, 'I understand, but all he needs is some cables, and a little help.' The officer looked straight back at me again, 'Alright, if you go first, I'll follow.' He didn't want Caleb to think he was in trouble. So we headed out down the long road to his camp and found him. I pulled right up to his truck and got out. 'Caleb, look! I found someone to help you.' The officer remained at a distance watching from inside his SUV, waiting to see if everything was going to be okay. Caleb smiled and was so thankful we had come. We went straight to work to jump his truck. The officer asked him how long he'd been out there. He said it had been longer than two weeks, and that he was just in a bad spot right now. The officer chatted with him, asking him questions, while I silently prayed that God would give him hope. As the officer and I left, I waved at Caleb and smiled big, thankful that he was going to be okay. As the officer and I got back out to the main road, we pulled over to chat. The officer told me that he decided not to ticket him for being out there longer than two weeks. I thanked him for that. Then he told me some more stories about why people go way out into the woods, and I thanked him again for going. Then the officer looked me straight in the eyes and asked, 'Are you okay? You look like you've just seen a ghost.' I told him I was. I was just thankful that Caleb was going to be okay. He looked at me again and said, did you see how he had spelled out JESUS in the rocks? I told him I did, and smiled. Then he said, 'I don't know why, but I have this feeling Caleb might stop by your camp tomorrow to thank you. I don't know why, but I just feel like he might.' I think yesterday changed us both. I thanked the officer again and went back to my camp, and as I was thinking through everything that had just happened, I kept thinking about how the officer had said, 'You look like you've just seen a ghost,' and then it struck me. Matthew 14. Jesus Walks on the Water. "When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. 'It's a ghost,' they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." And somehow, some way, I feel that all three of us saw Jesus yesterday.

I sit out on my porch at sunset or early in the morning with my guitar and gaze upon our unfathomable, unsearchable, indescribable Holy One, He who is a wonder. I’ve encountered Jesus when I was on my lowest point. He gave me peace, wisdom, so much of contentment and those times I would not want to be away from Him. But because of series of struggles, trials and problems in all aspects of my life, little did I know I was running away from Him. And I felt like I cheated on Him. I am not worthy of His grace but He continuously accepting me loving me. 😭😭 I’ve done a lot of things that I know did not please Him. I wanted to draw closer to Him once again. I want to be in His presence again. This song is really a great reminder of how great Jesus is. 😭

i was raised in an abusive household, in a christian cult. i ran away to a big city to find freedom, which i thought meant living to your hearts desires. i ended up in so many precarious situations, and living with other abusers, because that was all i knew. I was living in so much sin. I experienced homelessness, assault, everything, and i had no idea who i was. i thought love was pleasing people so that they wouldn't get mad at you. i almost ended up living a fully lesbian lifestyle, in a new age community. men terrified me. i constantly felt unsafe in my body. jesus whispered to me on a hiking trip in the country and i felt a need to pray. i prayed with my friend and the spirit moved over us both. Jesus led me to leave the city i was living in and live in a small village. he put me in isolation, and began to scrape away alllllllll of the deceit and strongholds. he led me to fast from cooked food for almost 10 months, and walked me through deliverance. led me to a church, and i am still being sanctified day by day. daily he shows me a new aspect of who he is. he led me to a healthy work environment, healthy friendships, a healthy church. the complete opposite of my past life. i am no longer dissociated. i no longer have ptsd. this worship set stayed on repeat when i was living in the village. i had no one, but God. worship truly is a weapon of warfare. Jesus you are so good.

When I saw this worship, I felt like I cheated on God for the world. God raised me as a true worshiper, but I corrupted myself by conforming myself to the world. I still worship, but this showed me a purity and unadulterated worship that God was expecting from me. I turn to God today ❤

My husband passed last month in December. I have since said that I will not sink because I know who I am and whose I am. And I will adjust my crown daily. I have built my life on His firm foundations. And even when the storms of this life come, I will be able to raise my hands and praise God through the storm.

I have been struggling with anxiety for 2 years. Meaningwhile, I graduated em medschool e started working. It's a blessing, but a huge responsability dealing with lives, too much stress involved and sometimes gives me crisis of anxiety. One of the things that calms my nerves is talking to Jesus and listening to worships here on youtube. I found this worship session like this. Thank you for singing for Jesus, it's a reminder that He is in control in every aspect of my life, that I found cure and peace with Him every time I needed. ♥

Hey man! Awesome session! I'd just like to share some thoughts:
There's a moment 34:50 where you say that God wouldn't be disappointed with our "fall shorts" or our "sins". In some sense, I disagree. Not saying that our sin would affect him or change his love for us, but in Ephesians 4:30, after warning agains a long list of sins, the apostle says: "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." So, it's very clear to me that our sins may grieve the Holy Spirit of God, which is a terrible thing. I believe we should fight against our flesh as much as we can (1 Chorintians 9:27), but never forget that "we have an advocate with the Father-Jesus Christ, the Righteous One." (1 John 2:1).
Hey bro! I replied on Instagram but I'll share here too for anyone else reading. I agree with you! Of course the Lord takes sin seriously and we should repent. But I also think we can beat ourselves up over the things that He has already forgiven. Or maybe we think that God is angry with us and doesn't want to speak to us because we have made a mistake, but instead he wants to restore us and welcome us again. The "falling short" I was singing about here was more in terms of when we pray big prayers and sing things like "You're all I want" but then we get distracted with other things... we can get discouraged but it doesn't mean that the prayer wasn't real on sincere. But it's hard to convey all of that in a spontaneous song I guess! Thanks for sharing :)

I just wanted to let you know that while listening to this I had the craziest spiritual encounter with God that I was not expecting. I closed my eyes during the song about the throne room, because I was just enjoying the music and all of a sudden, I was there with Jesus right by a throne and the throne was red and beautiful just as a king's throne would be and all I could see were Jesus' feet and He was wearing sandals. He wasn't wearing anything fancy. Not fancy shoes, BUT SANDALS. And I felt such peace and joy while I was there. (': I didn't want to leave, but it only lasted for a moment. Jesus is real. God is real. Heaven is real. The throne room is real. If you're questioning your faith or having doubts, this is your sign that God is real

This reminded me to return to my first love. To go back to seeking God and not complicating my walk. When I first became a Christian I just wanted to know God, now I’ve distracted myself with regulations and entertainment. It was all about knowing Him from the start and never should’ve changed. Pray I’ll continue on this path, the prayers of the righteous have power.

Mr Ogden, This is the first time I’ve ever heard your worship sessions. I am so blessed to be in the presence of the Lord during this worship time. I started listening early this morning at 3:45am as I sat down to write in my journal. What deep-calling, deep-adoration, deep-longing worship you give to Father God. I so loved being in His presence along with you as you worshipped our God. Thank you so very much for giving all your giftings to He alone who deserves all that you are.
I have to mention how lovely it was that as you gave worship on your piano and with your voice, even the outdoor creation gave its beauty to your worship session…the fog rolled in and as it got darker less buildings could be seen and more lights could be seen. As your session was ending the darkness outside and in the room brought a sweet conclusion to the end of your worship time. Thank you for your ministry sir. I will definitely listen and be a part of more of your worship sessions.
Your worship music ministered to me at a time when I was in great pain and all I could do was lay in bed and listen to worship music. It took me months to recover but your peaceful voice and strong anointing helped me through it all. Thank you so much for posting this session.

Scrolling on RUclips with so many distractions but thinking “worship” in my heart. Glad I came across this.
Yesterday a man approached my car way out in the wilderness while I was camping. We were all alone, and I was hesitant. He was searching for jumper cables because his car had died, and he had walked four miles to find me. I didn't have any, but I called 911 to see if they could help him. The man's phone was also broken and he had no money. The dispatcher took his information and said they would send someone out in the morning. I gave the man a cup of water, and he left, but I kept thinking about him, and I couldn't get him off of my mind, so I decided to go look for him again.
When I found him close by, I told him to get in, and that I would take him back to his camp. At first he was hesitant because he hadn't showered in a long time, but I convinced him that it was okay. Jonathan Ogden, my favorite worship leader, was playing on the radio as we talked. The man said he was from Odessa, Texas and that he was going through a rough time in life. I told him I knew how rough life could be, but that God always has a plan. He started to cry. The Holy Spirit was surely with us. He went on, 'I've been trying so hard to find my place in this world, but nothing seems to ever end up right.' I told him I get it. He then asked if I work at Starbucks. I told him I do. I told him it's not where I ever thought I would end up working, but that I think God has a plan and purpose in it. I told him that nine years ago I had a stroke and heart surgery, and that I knew how hard life can get, but that God always has a plan for us. More tears. This moment felt sacred. I told him to hang on, that it would get better, and that God is always working. He told me that every day he prays to God that he would bring him home. I told him I get it. I used to pray that prayer too. I asked him his name. Caleb.
When we got to back to his camp, I saw that he was almost out of food, and so I gave him twelve cans of black beans and some bananas. Before I was about to leave he asked me if he could have just one more cup of water. As I went to my car to get grab the water, he reached out his cup for me to fill it. I handed him the jug. 'Here, you can have it all.' He looked me straight in the eyes again with tears and said he prayed two days ago for water. I left soon after. I called 911 again just to let them know that he really needed some help out there, and that his water wouldn't last very long. She understood.
After I got back to my camp, I got a call from the sheriff who said he could come out in a while after he finished up with an emergency, but that he wasn't going to be able to jump his car for liability reasons, but that he would go check on him. I asked the officer if I went with him, if he would let me use his cables to jump his car with mine. He said that he would and we decided to meet a little while later.
When the officer arrived, we found the road out to Caleb's camp, and I let the officer know that he might need some resources to help him. The officer looked surprised, and all of a sudden, he didn't want to go help him anymore. He said that his backup was an hour away, and that he didn't want to get into the position of suicide by cop. I told him I get it, but I just kept looking at him intently. The officer continued to tell me stories of how oftentimes this ends up going wrong, and he felt there was too much risk involved. I told him again. I get it, but he might die out there with little water. He told me a few more stories about why he thought it was a bad idea, and then told me to hang on while he ran Caleb's name through the system. There was no record of Caleb being registered in Texas. I looked at him again. I told him, 'I understand, but all he needs is some cables, and a little help.' The officer looked straight back at me again, 'Alright, if you go first, I'll follow.' He didn't want Caleb to think he was in trouble.
So we headed out down the long road to his camp and found him. I pulled right up to his truck and got out. 'Caleb, look! I found someone to help you.' The officer remained at a distance watching from inside his SUV, waiting to see if everything was going to be okay. Caleb smiled and was so thankful we had come.
We went straight to work to jump his truck. The officer asked him how long he'd been out there. He said it had been longer than two weeks, and that he was just in a bad spot right now. The officer chatted with him, asking him questions, while I silently prayed that God would give him hope. As the officer and I left, I waved at Caleb and smiled big, thankful that he was going to be okay.
As the officer and I got back out to the main road, we pulled over to chat. The officer told me that he decided not to ticket him for being out there longer than two weeks. I thanked him for that. Then he told me some more stories about why people go way out into the woods, and I thanked him again for going. Then the officer looked me straight in the eyes and asked, 'Are you okay? You look like you've just seen a ghost.' I told him I was. I was just thankful that Caleb was going to be okay. He looked at me again and said, did you see how he had spelled out JESUS in the rocks? I told him I did, and smiled. Then he said, 'I don't know why, but I have this feeling Caleb might stop by your camp tomorrow to thank you. I don't know why, but I just feel like he might.' I think yesterday changed us both.
I thanked the officer again and went back to my camp, and as I was thinking through everything that had just happened, I kept thinking about how the officer had said, 'You look like you've just seen a ghost,' and then it struck me. Matthew 14. Jesus Walks on the Water. "When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. 'It's a ghost,' they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." And somehow, some way, I feel that all three of us saw Jesus yesterday.

My wife walked down the aisle to this song and I absolutely broke down and balled like a baby. She was so beautiful and I felt like the luckiest man in the world on that day. 7.5 years later and that feeling has not left me....

I am an Alcoholic and I struggle with trying to stay sober for more than 90 days. This RUclips series makes me want to seek God in the best way possible and give up all i have to pursue Him. However I continue to fall to my addictions. I need help and I seek help. If you can, I would love a prayer to defeat addiction.,

Just stumbled across this video, My aunt passed away early this morning...We worship you lord. Through the good and the bad!
These are similar to the expressions and longings of my heart. I sit out on my porch at sunset or early in the morning with my guitar and gaze upon our unfathomable, unsearchable, indescribable Holy One, He who is a wonder. Through worship in song my heart opens like a flower to the sun and I'm able to say beyond the words what I need to say to my Beloved.

Feeling empty and lost, though knowing God I’m a tired mum and struggling with health… I miss worship leading as in my days before marriage and children … this refreshed me, reminded me that He has never left, I kept your video on, my 3 year old girl sat with me, lay on the floor and said “this song is lovely mummy”. I’ve encountered Jesus when I was on my lowest point. He gave me peace, wisdom, so much of contentment and those times I would not want to be away from Him. But because of series of struggles, trials and problems in all aspects of my life, little did I know I was running away from Him. And I felt like I cheated on Him. I am not worthy of His grace but He continuously accepting me loving me. 😭😭 I’ve done a lot of things that I know did not please Him. I wanted to draw closer to Him once again. I want to be in His presence again. This song is really a great reminder of how great Jesus is. 😭
