I find it a bit sad that almost no one ever mentions RE0 when talking about remakes. I wish Capcom would do something in the future, but I doubt it.
If they do it will be after re1 like re3 followed re2
If re0 gets a remake I would be worried that they will replace dropping items on the floor when inventory is full with the upgradeable item case, dropping items and returning to them later is what makes re0 standout and unique and they should keep that in
I think it would be a possible idea to make it part of the RE 1 re-remake. Kinda like Seperate Ways in RE4. Thats one of the only ways I see them reviving that game.

The control mechanics for RE4 Remake are so good that it will make any future remakes 🙌🏽.
RE1 it’s not gonna have the parry thing cause first of all u fighting zombies and second of all they need to keep the core mechanics of the game at 10/10.So it needs to be more like RE2 remake.I can see RE5 remake keep the RE4 remake mechanics and even maybe expand on those mechanics

Leon being the protagonist of re9 kinda makes sense we get more Leon in the present and then we get Chris,Jill and the rest of stars in the re1 remake. BUT I’m hoping we also get an update on the “evil bsaa” using bio soldiers and what Chris is gonna do about them.

Another connection, they introduce the Spencer Mansion in RE 1... then we get the mansion prototype reveal in CV.
Same way we got the police station in 2 and return to it in 3... factor in the 30th anniversary and the cease and desist orders of both of those fan made games and it does all make sense.
You're missing the point of re1s cameras..... it would be two completely different games
so were RE2 and 3. thats the whole point, to give 1 revolutionary and playable perfect controls.

If my hunch is indeed correct on Resident Evil 1 as I've thought could be the possibility in previous videos of yours, itll be interesting to see if they add any new modes. Ex. Perhaps they will add the RE7 style first person combat as an option. Catering to all of the players across the games would be a very smart move, and it would offer alternate perspectives to the mansion and game setting. Still working on Resident Evil 4 remake (I'm terrible at it lol). Makes me wonder if they're rebuilding it from the ground up.
Either way, we know cool stuff is happening. Definitely appreciate this news, even if its still unconfirmed.
I think adding a rework of RE0 as a DLC is a no-brainer.
So many faults and plot holes with the original RE0 so a well thought out game for both would be great

Capcom will likely bring in the same Ink Ribbon system seen in RE2make, where it autosaves on Standard, but you’ll need the Ink Ribbons in Hardcore.

I wonder if they would end up making 0 and 1's story combined for the remake, in my opinion I think that would be a very smart play since 0 is prior and leads right into the mansion like imagine the story length it would have and the amount of areas you would have to explore rather than just the mansion and its areas.
Remaking Resident Evil 1 makes sense because of Series 30th Anniversary (1996 - 2026)
Capcom is Currently working on five resident evil games.
This really begs the question in this new timeline as I like to call it, what exactly they’d like to be canon seeing as they’ve done minor changes to the story itself but still mostly the same. Like are they planning to cutout 0 and CVX for example in this redone timeline. It’s pretty interesting and exciting to see how these things will unfold.
RE1 remake with RE engine without removing any original content will probably be a masterpiece. RE2 remake and RE4 remake are great

If the second remake of Resident Evil 1 is actually in development , then maybe perhaps it would be a good idea to replace the corny campy dialogues with morbid humors. It just fits with horror more, since both ( dark humor and horror ) dealt with morbid topics.

Right I like re1 but the fixed camera angles were hard to over come I kept wasting ammo just to shot a enemy that got right back up even running around is a hassle

I'm personally not a big fan of Capcom remaking the first game... AGAIN. The Remake we have now for the first game still holds up in my opinion. If they are really doing though, if they can make it so that they can combine 0 and 1 together in some way and perhaps rewrite the story for the better. Then I can see the reason why they would do it but as of right now. Not a big fan of the decision but I have been wrong about them remaking RE4 and that game is remade into something better somehow so there's some hope.

Does RE1 need another remake? That is debatable. But I am curious as to how good the game would look in the RE or REX engine. Maybe one day Capcom will remake Code Veronica. It will be interesting to see how they handle RE5 & 6. Those should get reboots instead of remakes. Only time will tell.

Re1 is by far the best game in the franchise and i really hope they keep the classic things about it. Like the angles, music, and door opening cutscenes. Re1 is more of a horror game like Re7 rather than the action in the other games. I hope they make it similar to 7

I guess this is an unpopular thing to say after reading some of the other comments, but RE1 doesn't need another remake right now. I don't really care that it's over 20 years old. The 2002 RE1 remake is a masterpiece that pretty much defines the entire franchise. Capcom kind of needs to calm down on the remake hype. The only Resident Evil game that should maybe get a remake for the time being is Code Veronica.
You sound goofy this game definitely needs a remake and the 30th anniversary would be perfect and also using this new next RE engine the Spencer estate would look menacing and the hunters when they make their first appearance would be epic. This game will sell 15-20 million copies easily

I'm sure I'd have some fun if they remade it. But that doesn't just mean to remake every game you think would be good. It doesn't need a remake right now because for the most part it still holds up. Any real RE fan would know that. It's the same opinion I have with the RE4 remake; yes it was pretty good and I enjoyed it, but was still not a necessary remake. Coming out with a remake of Code: Veronica would've made more sense.

The only versions that have sold over 15 million copies is 2 and 4 (original and remakes combined), and 5, and it took them over a decade and a half to do that. And RE1 sales hasn't even reached half of that. Sit down, kid.
They definitely know what they're doing, have some trust and creative vision. You can always play the original if you don't like this one but hating on it before it's even been announced officially is silly.
I really dont think they should remake it.. its a perfect gane and i cant imagaine trying ro redo it wouldnt be a let down in some way. But if they're insistent on doing it then they should make Chris's and Jill's campaigns two completely separate campaigns that don't overlap (like if you unlock a door in one campaign then that door should be unlocked in the other campaign). Also VR. Focus on VR and dont make it sone stupid playstation exclusive.
