Lenovo's wave of mega silent firings in early 2023 were absolutely despicable. They laid of thousands of really great people after posting record profits and bragging about moving up the Forbes list each quarter in their "All Hands" NA org sales meetings to those people that moved the needle for them. They ruined thousands of people's lives, especially those that relocated and even bought new homes during the peak of covid when Lenovo asked for their dedication to support and grow the business. Their warranty process is atrocious and considered terrible by anyone who has had to deal with service claims on top of this.
Just bought this beautiful machine 1 week ago and I'm in love! The design is amazingly good. I haven't used any Lenovo laptop but definitely happy with this choice as my on-the-go laptop. 3 years warranty for flip screen is also a plus. The hinge is very strong and seems durable, I normally flip it to work with customers so the experience with touching and 2.8K OLED screen are a must!
I have the same model too !! What do you think about audio quality? I don't know if it's me but I found it pretty low compared to other ultrabooks... that's my only complaint
@minus690 does it run hot? Like... is it comfortable to hold it in hands in tabled mode? I'm talking about basic usage like, browsing internet and watching youtube.
just purchased this about 3 weeks ago and I definitely don't regret it. as you said, i'm surprised at how premium the machine feels for the price. I do find that the fan is sometimes noisy but I have yet to tinker with the settings, so that might be easily remedied
I've got this laptop, with a fingerprint sensor. It's the 2022 model, 12 gen i5, yoga 7i. But the keyboard feels very mushy, not a lot of travel at all. Especially when using it on a desk. Was curious if the keyboard bothered anyone else. And the laptop was pretty heavy for a laptop with little to no travel on the keys
I am trying on it too. After using a Samsung galaxy book2 360 keyboard, this is a hard one even with my small hands. You are right about travelling or carry on which is too heavy although it is a sturdy one. How do you like the audio?
This just shows how grossly overpriced XPS laptops are now. I remember buying an i5 XPS 13 for £800 in 2016 which was fair at the time for the cutting edge ultra-thin design and thin bezels. Thanks to Lenovo selling good laptops at fair prices.

Great review as usual. Personally I am interested in the Yoga Slim 7i Pro X14 with the i7 12700H, 32GB DDR5 RAM, RTX 3050 Max Q and 1 TB SSD. I think it is a very appealing product for 1500 pounds and it offers a great balance for work/home workloads.
I've got the Ryzen 6800 version of the 7 Pro X on order, which in the US is around $1500 and I think a great value. Hoping that the speakers, webcam and mics are as good as on the little brother Slim 7 @MashIT reviewed here. With these two machines and the Yoga 9i, Lenovo has knocked it out of the park with this year's laptops.

Mr, i have the yoga 7i intel i5 1235u 512GB 16RAM i have this confusion why every time i check on the battery status its changes from coming 2hrs left then after 10 mins i check again it tells 4hrs left i only doing RUclips and social media backlit light off that's it the thing is every time i check on my battery status it changes its either high or coming low i wonder if i do need to plug a charger or its still have high battery status. should i brought it back to the store?

It will be fine for light photoshop and Lightroom but if you are using very large files and lots of layers etc then I would opt for a laptop with a discrete gpu

This laptop with an AMD chip is the best thin and light windows laptop you can get for the money. It will match macbook air in battery life and match macbook pro when plugged. Plus it have an oled screen and it's a 2 in 1 with pen support. It is a solid all rounder.

Which ever is cheaper! specs wise they are very similar. This model has a newer CPU which is slightly more powerful due to more cores but the 11370 is no slouch with its higher wattage. Rest of the specs are similar

That's really tough, I prefer the X15 by a fair amount but the 1440p screen trumps it all! that screen is amazing so I would get the m15r7 which is still a solid machine

Just checked out the Lenovo website and I can see why there is such a discrepancy. At the moment there is only build to order systems, these are always much more expensive. When they have models in stock they list them along side at much much better pricing. If I see them come back into stock I will give you a heads up
I was planning to buy GALXY BOOK 2 PRO 360 and confused among HP ENVY X360 OLED, YOGA SLIM 7i OLED ...... my main oncern was battery lasting! Heard AMD laptops has good battery lasting. . . Few weeks ago it's launched in India and after watching Yr review I 'm definitely going to buy this one...

The speakers are horrid. I bought this laptop last night and plan to return it today. Tinny sounds with no options for adjusting the frequencies.
Or you could use headphones or use a Bluetooth speaker...

It will be great for light/moderate projects but the intel gfx will hold it back on heavier projects

Great keyboard layout? I disagree. Tiny arrow keys are a failure.
Personally I would take tiny arrows over the over the curser keys crushed into the keyboard causing typos like many manufacturers
I was planning to buy GALXY BOOK 2 PRO 360 and confused among HP ENVY X360 OLED, YOGA SLIM 7i OLED ...... my main oncern was battery lasting! Heard AMD laptops has good battery lasting. . .

Mate... If you get the Ryzen 7 6800u variant... It will come with the much better iGPU ( 680m) aparently much better than the iris xe hehe.
haha I wanted it but in the UK we didn't get the ryzen version until much later. I did manage to get the Thinkpad T14 with Ryzen 6850u and it was amazing!

Paid by Lenovo to push this product. Maybe quote RRP and not some Amazon special deal. This model sells for £900 on the Lenovo website. Not really the bargain you want to make it.
lol. I am not paid by anyone, I rely on the RUclips ad revenue to support the channel. I buy every laptop myself for review. This was bought on the Lenovo store with a discount code in the UK for just under £700.
@@MashITTech looks like I have to wait for their next discount round. Their webpage now lists the SSD for this model also as a Gen 4 512GB. So, maybe they sold off some ‘old’ models before that upgrade.
