The PSVR1 is still great with loads of games that haven’t/won’t be ported over to the PSVR2. Only issues are going from a single USB-C back to the tangled mess of wires and the lower res screen.

The thing that swayed me is i looked at my ps library and noticed i already had 20 psvr 1 games on my account that i've just acquired from being a ps plus subscriber for 10 years. So i thought why not. Also i just played and beat astro bot on ps5. So playing rescue mission is a big draw.
I use the PSVR1 a few nights a week. It’s the only VR headset I’ve played and I love it. I’ll upgrade to PSVR2 eventually Astro Bot is probably the coolest experience I’ve had.
I still play my PSVR1 and I think it's more comfortable than PSVR2, though I've gotten used to PSVR2's halo head mount. I just went through Arizona Sunshine again with PSVR1 on the PS4 Pro, but I use it to play Squadrons on PS5. Lots of good games for both. I went though VR sickness too, got my VR legs pretty quickly, it was worth it. And for anyone wanting to get a taste of VR with a used PSVR1 for your PS4 Pro, the resolution is fine, it's awesome, go for it. Play Squadrons, holy moly. You have to experience VR to get it. Completely agree with you - the psvr1 is still an amazing headset especially for the price and you can pick one up very cheap on the used market now . Another good thing over the PSVR2 is that it’s more comfortable and it supports 3D Blu-ray movies whereas psvr2 doesn’t and on top of that most the games are really cheap to buy now . Another thing is that Psvr2 doesn’t have the variety and style of games I like like astrobot, wipeout omega collection, Rez infinite , thumper , Star Wars etc - have not seen many in PSVR like these style of games for psvr1 yet but I guess it’s still early days for psvr2. Right now I don’t see the point of selling my psvr1 with all the games I have and getting a few quid for it and then having to buy a PlayStation 5 and psvr2 which is gonna cost close to £1000 and then having to buy the expensive games for it - I’ll wait for a few years and see what it offers by then and probably buy a used on at a fraction of the price . Thanks for the video .

I get my headset, headphones, move furniture or whatever, and then I pick up the controllers. I also think having the camera a little above head height if you can is best, and get the room dark. Not total dark, but the darker the better, with no lamps or shiny objects behind you. I think white walls or doors or anything in view could also pose a potential track loss, so usually just dimming lights can pretty much solve that issue. If still having issues, it may be the Move controllers themselves. I've only ever used one pair, and they do hiccup here and there, but they don't break the game. As long as the camera can see them and the room is dim to pretty dark, depending what's behind you, they should work fine. Also, if the Move controllers are ever between the camera and your headset's lights, that's where some tracking can get weird.
