- Thank you for 700 subscribers ❤️.In this video, I'm sharing the moment my train fell off the layout and onto the floor. This was my first experience of this occurring and one of my saddest moments in this hobby. I debated with myself on sharing on RUclips or not and came to the conclusion that this may help others to remember to install spill guards and to be cautious laying track so close to the edge of the layout. Enjoy and thanks again for 700 subscribers. Be sure to subscribe to my RUclips channel for more video updates.
Bummer! That is a beautiful train. I guess side guards are in order. I learned that the hard way too. I love your work here-your layout is outstanding.
Thanks
I had a brass PRR 2-10-4 do a tumble onto a wooden floor from about 39". Very sick feeling. Loco was slightly dented and frame bent but not seriously. I was able to repair it. Spill guards from now on!
I'm glad to hear it had a happy ending, but the fall was painful to watch!
Yes, it is still traumatizing.
Glad it wasn’t too bad and you got everything running again.
Exactly, thanks!
Man its good to hear there wasn't any damage besides the tender. It looked devastating at the beginning of the fall.
Yes. There's more footage I deleted. My cousin had to go look at it and pick it up before me. I had to walked away from the layout in devastation.
Dude, that was so lucky to have such minimal damage.
Right. On the day of...I couldn't even look at it. My cousin had to reveal to me the damages as he was also there when it happened.
In true prototypical fashion, catastrophic rail accidents do happen!
That always Sucks. Bob
⚠️ early warning sign: cars weighted to NMRA RP-20.1 ⚠️
That was not good this crash of the beautiful cars. I hope the damage isn't too great.
They actually survived with no damages; however, the tender was replaced by the manufacturer for a small fee.
