Know what I love about the internet? It can teach you to do anything, without judgment. Some of us didn't ever get basic cooking lessons. Some of us never learned to ride a bike. Some of us didn't have dads to teach us how to change a tire. But now? There are tons of sweet people online willing to show you how to do these things.

    2 tbsp of sugar

I personally have trouble following while they're talking, so I wrote the recipe down. Hope it helps other people beside me too! Also, I corrected some stuff, following advice of some commenters as well. Didn't write the frying process down , only the recipe.
-add a cup of all-purpose flour
-add 2 table spoons of sugar
-add 2 TEAspoons of baking powder (They got it wrong in the video, as stated in the description)
-add 1 teaspoon of salt (Maybe a bit less, dependent on personal preference)
    -blend all together
-make a small well in the center of the flour
    -add 1 cup of milk
    -add 1 beaten egg
-add 2 table spoons of oil
    -mix 'till smooth

i cook a lot while im quarantined so i did this recipe a lot recently and here's some of my recommendations
look in description!!! its 2 teaspoons of baking powder not tablespoons
add butter instead of oil - basically add about 2 tbsp of butter and your pancakes will be a lot better
add less salt cause your pancakes will be too salty
you can add some milk powder cause it adds some nice flavour about 1 tbsp
and if you don't have milk like me and you can't go shopping rn look if you have:
    cream any % is good
    powdered milk
basically use those ingredients and mix with water
If your batter is lumpy u can use a blender/food processor or other stuff it helps a lot
That's all hope this is helpful lol

I used this recipe, and with some amendments, they came out great.
    Tips I Have:
    1. Add an extra tablespoon of sugar.
    2. Use Honey Butter instead of motor oil😂
3.(MOST IMPORTANT) Let batter sit for about 10-15 min. at room temperature.
*the batter came out too thin at first when I mixed it, so letting it sit will thicken it and make the pancakes thicker and fluffer as a result.
Hope you guys enjoy this recipe as much as I did!!😄

    - 2 T sugar ~~~ (alter it to your choice of 0-4, I always do 2)
    - 2 tsp baking powder ~~~ (the video's mistake is of saying 2 T)
    - 1/2 tsp salt ~~~ (one HALF, not 1 or 2. The video said 1, but it was much too salty)
***Make a well in the center of the bowl after mixing all the dry ingredients***
    WET INGREDIENTS
    - 1 cup milk
    - 1 egg ~~~ (I substituted for 1/4 cup of applesauce or mashed banana)
    - 2 T oil
***When frying, I poured in the batter at about 1/4 cup measurements***
    ABBREVIATIONS
    - T= tablespoon

Thank you.

How many people will read the description versus trust a video w 28 million views and just follow it step by step in their kitchen, no other thought about it? Whack. Lazy. This is a cooking RUclips. Hey, Metamorphia MLP - Salt sparks the flavor of most dishes. You'll be missing something if you leave it out entirely. How about cutting down on the amount instead? Use 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon. Start with a small amount, give it a taste, and see how you like the flavor. You could try a small taste of batter with and without salt and compare the flavor that way, too.

My kids are allergic to milk , so I used almond milk instead, two teaspoons of honey and a hint of vanilla extract.
