You're quite the Dish! Learned the hard way thinking that I could thaw out a big bird overnight. It was a delightful video as you pranced around the kitchen with your charm and smile. I bet it would be partying with ya! Happy Thanksgiving.
The main thing I'd like to say, is take time to appreciate the fact you HAVE family and friends to cook for and gather with! All of our "gatherings " around my mom's big dining table are now in memories only. You appreciate them, but don't actually realize that in one year you could lose members of your family and that gathering HOME of 50 years is now suddenly someone else's home. Don't squabble or complain .....its truly a BLESSING. ❤❤❤
Yes, as we get older things change. My hubby and I are last in both families and we have no kids. We make something easy and watch football all day long. And remember, that's part of the day too. Love PegEgg
Yes, always cherish those memories!! My dad passed away several years ago and my mom is getting ready to sell the sprawling ranch we grew up on; she is too old to handle it by herself. My brother and sister-in-law moved there a few years ago to help her, but then my brother was in a bad accident on the ranch and now it is too much for him to handle too. You just never know what will happen. So this will be our last Thanksgiving and Christmas there. I am going to take tons of pictures and I am sure cry with my family but cherish every second of it!
Whenever I watch Nicole cooking, I pay attention and I go and get what groceries I need then I replay her back until I got the recipe down. She’s a great teacher because when I follow her directions my food turns out great❤
I totally agree with you in a call to me. A turkey sandwich is so much better than the turkey on the day of Thanksgiving. It is one of my favorite things after Thanksgiving is over.!!!
Nicole.....you nailed it!! Fabulous video, especially for those young people hosting their first holiday dinner. Lots of great tips! I couldn't agree with you more about the turkey.....I may have a sliver on my plate on the actual holiday, but come Friday morning as I watch all of the freaks fight the early morning traffic to catch the great deals on black Friday you will find me in my cozy little den, at my computer desk, in my pajamas with a cup of hot black coffee and a turkey sandwich on rye bread with extra mayo and black pepper!!
Everything looks delish. I always add an Italian side dish. Just have to because that was what my family did and i do it too . In fact my family included a full on Italian along side the traditional Thanksgiving meal.
For holidays, I think most of us want what we grew up with - the same dressing style, the same sides, the same desserts. We may pick up a different recipe or two as the years pass but for the most part it’s about family and memories. ❤
When the Grannies Pass THINGS CHANGE MOST PEOPLE 2nd 3nd Order Out or good out They Finally Realize WOW THAT IS TOO MUCH WORK WE KNEW OUR COUSINS THEY WERE SO IMPORTANT EXTRA BROTHERS AND SISTERS ❤ ALWAYS BE KIND ❤❤❤❤❤
Wow, this turkey recipe is the best I have ever tried. The whole family loved it. Not only did it come out juice on the inside with a crisp skin on the outside, it was also the easiest to make with quickest clean up after. Thank you for helping to make our Thanksgiving even better than expected!
Thanks for all the great tips. The shredded butter one is my fave. Genius! Must try the cocktail as well… OMG that looked delicious! You’re the best! Happy Thanksgiving 🍗
Astonish,You and presentation was very delightfull. Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving to you and all of people who watch this video. Michigan send love and peace. Grace❤️🕊️
I'm with you, I really enjoy the side dishes (and I suppose the desserts too!)😀Great video!! It's always good to have a plan before starting so we can relax a bit and enjoy the day with family and friends.
Yum looks delicious. I agree need mashed potatoes. But every thing else looks awesome!! Happy Thanksgiving and good health to all🦃 Cherish all of your loved ones.❤❤
Beautiful organization and timing on this! The only thing I would add is some mashed potatoes or some savory potato dish. We also usually make some cupcakes and cookies for the kids, but other than that, your dinner would be perfection!
That’s funny! My family would revolt if there was mashed potatoes! While we all adore them, they’ve never been a part of our tradition. I realize we’re the minority lol. 🦃
Same! Plus, my mom is allergic to sweet potatoes and yams, so we HAVE to have a mashed potato option (which, to be fair, my mama makes THE BEST mashed potatoes this side of the Mississippi, so it works out for all of us!). ❤
I tried the foil “steam” method and my gosh, I will do it every year from now on - worked like a charm to ensure a tender and moist turkey ❤. Thank you!
Just finished cooking gravy, sweet potato with pecan topping, dressing, and prepped turkey for husband to smoke for us. Cannot believe we are almost done the day before….. it’s going to a breeze on Turkey Day! Thank you so much🤎🦃🤎
I don't know how to thank you, i made most of the recipes in the video. They were awesome, so delicious, tasty, everything is perfect,, ,thank you so much you made my Thanksgiving dinner ❤
Hello Nicole, I was so intrigued by excited about watching your videos you are very fun to watch. You are funny and have a wonderful bubbly personality l am a new subscriber to your channel and I have been bing watching your videos and looking forward to many more l will be trying some of your recipes and sharing them with my daughter keep the videos coming lm excited to see what you do next 😊
Refrigerator tip: The sweet potato casserole can be stacked on top of the dressing to save room in the refrigerator. Interesting turkey recipe! My husband prefers brining then smoking the turkey on Thanksgiving Day.
My favorite side: Bread stuffing (try adding a little diced sweet peppers and mushrooms for a delicious twist!) mashed potatoes dinner rolls green bean casserole corn casserole cranberry sauce (canned of course) and carrots roasted in butter and brown sugar Sorry I couldn’t decide which I like more! Can you tell I’m from Wisconsin? 😂
I'm with you on the sides but it's just me so this happens in small stages. every week I make a side with whatever main I'm having, freeze several single servings. for the big meal, I have chicken from the deli and many small containers of sides. I can keep this going till New Years.
I get the biggest compliments on my cranberry sauce, I believe, because I spice it well with nutmeg, allspice, and mace. Don't forget to replace a portion of the orange juice with port as well!
I think it was a pretty good video for the beginners turkey dinner !! But most important is the turkey and there isn’t much about the the degree to cook it at and whether or not she turned down the temp the last hour or so ? So did she untent it at around 2 hours ?
This may have been asked already , but can I freeze the green bean casserole and the sweet potato casserole? I am traveling but need to bring the food a full week ahead of time. Thanks!!
Looks delicious but I have a comment/question. The sweet potato casserole is ready to eat or you have to bake it? Because has eggs on it. How many degrees and for how long please. Thank you
What's your favorite Thanksgiving dish?
Can I use Prosecco instead of champagne for the turkey?
My favorite has always been the stuffing/dressing. I'm also team jellied canned cranberries. 😁 Fantastic job, love this video.
You're quite the Dish!
Learned the hard way thinking that I could thaw out a big bird overnight.

I bet it would be partying with ya! Happy Thanksgiving.
Dressing & Squash Casserole... oh, and Cherry Lush dessert!😁

@Someone-vn9ce Awww, yes you will, but they will be great memories. 🩷
Absolutely loved that you missed the butter in the pie and added after! True home cook accident. That's why you are my favorite cook to watch.
Whenever I watch Nicole cooking, I pay attention and I go and get what groceries I need then I replay her back until I got the recipe down.
She’s a great teacher because when I follow her directions my food turns out great❤
And she's chill so I don't stress when I watch and follow her.😃
Thanks so much!
I love Nicole’s energy! I just want to sit down and have cocktails with her!😂🥳😀
I want one of those cranberry cosmos made with the cranberry sauce.
I totally agree with you in a call to me. A turkey sandwich is so much better than the turkey on the day of Thanksgiving. It is one of my favorite things after Thanksgiving is over.!!!
@@cathyvelliquette3799 we make turkey sliders on King’s Hawaiian buns!

Creamy Mac and Cheese with candied Yams are the staples on my Thanksgiving table. Along with some sweet potato pie.
I love Nicole, she makes everything look easy and not complicated. Nicole, you inspire me to cook
This all looks so fantastic, but our family has to have our garlic mashed potatoes, also. Add those and you have perfection. 🦃
I was literally saying to myself yesterday that Nicole’s probably going to make a Thanksgiving video and lo and behold here it is!! 👏🙌
You make it look easy. I also do everything the day before so i can visit the day of. Thanks for the recipes!!
Everything looks delish. I always add an Italian side dish. Just have to because that was what my family did and i do it too . In fact my family included a full on Italian along side the traditional Thanksgiving meal.
I love the leftover turkey sandwich with dressing and cranberries on the sandwich with Dukes Mayonnaise-
For holidays, I think most of us want what we grew up with - the same dressing style, the same sides, the same desserts. We may pick up a different recipe or two as the years pass but for the most part it’s about family and memories. ❤

So true.😊
We do a night before mashed potatoes. Just reheat the next day. Our family loves it.
Leftover turkey, Duke’s mayo, and two slices of white bread is all you need!
Lettuce if you’re feelin’ fancy! Haha
Wow, this turkey recipe is the best I have ever tried. The whole family loved it. Not only did it come out juice on the inside with a crisp skin on the outside, it was also the easiest to make with quickest clean up after. Thank you for helping to make our Thanksgiving even better than expected!
Wow! You made everything looks so easy. Awesome! My stress went away…
She is amazing! She made this look so easy. A talent with such smoothness. I AM ENCOURAGED! I can do this! Thank you so much for a great video!
No reason to pore through cookbooks, you just gave us the complete Thanksgiving menu in this one video. Thank you so much😊
Winner, winner Turkey dinner! Well done! Yummy 😋
My favorite dish is the dressing. You didn't make deviled eggs. 😄 I really enjoy watching you. I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Mama's cornbread dressing had so much sage, it was almost green. YUM!!
I agree 100% about the sides being the best and the turkey being better the day after as a sandwich.
Grace❤️🕊️

Yum looks delicious. I agree need mashed potatoes. But every thing else looks awesome!! Happy Thanksgiving and good health to all🦃
Cherish all of your loved ones.❤❤

My husband loves sweet potatoes casserole and I will make this for him and the kids
I love your big kitchen layout, it has that nice modern culinary look to it. It’s nice to have two gas range stoves.
My family would revolt if there were no mashed potatoes!
That’s funny! My family would revolt if there was mashed potatoes! While we all adore them, they’ve never been a part of our tradition. I realize we’re the minority lol. 🦃
Our family too. We love mashed potatoes 🥔!! 👏👏👏👏👏❤️💜🩵

Do the pumpkin bars freeze well? Everything looked wonderful.
Omg! Thank you for great ideas especially the turkey!
I think it was a pretty good video for the beginners turkey dinner !! But most important is the turkey and there isn’t much about the the degree to cook it at and whether or not she turned down the temp the last hour or so ? So did she untent it at around 2 hours ?
Nicole have you ever tried deep fried turkey, it is the best😊
