Good tests. Shows some gaps in the perception and logic. And a second stage rescue mode it seems. Although the geese wouldn't have made it. It was somewhat transfixed by the rails. Interesting perception at 3:00 a difficulty in determining a threshold. Ambiguity. 6:37 interesting occluded stop sign as well. Will need to see all such variations without fail. It 'sees' it very early but likely just maps. 1:32 seeing yellow lines without any yellow present. could mean that color isn't hugely important to it. main processing could even be monochrome.
Chicago is very unique and strange with Stop signs. Generally in the US, you would have a stop sign on the right side and a stop line. In Chicago, you have that but you also have another stop sign on the left side to show you that the car in front also has a stop sign. It's as if the stop signs were printed on both sides. In this case at 7:22, we actually already stopped at our stop sign at 7:10. So we are in the intersection (very large intersection) but since we stopped at 7:10, we should just proceed without having to stop again at 7:22 for the "opposite" stop sign. FSD struggles a lot with that setup. It needs to know when to ignore a stop sign vs stop for it.
You need to report "geese not detected" :-)
Goose Island has some nice street names, Weed and Hooker streets.
Gold mine edge cases! Thank you!
Geeze that was nice
👍
Thanx!
Very nice of you Robert. Thank you!
Thank you for this video
There are tons of Lucids in there! I visited and I think it’s also a delivery location. Sooo many inside it was awesome just wondering around.
Thank you for uploading many test videos
Around 6:50 it got confused with the shadow on the road, and used the shadow of the building as the road edge.
Thankful for all the work

Make sure you hit the camera button when it doesn't perform as expected with edge cases so that the team can correct them.
Best layout in the business!
very interesting, btw, the stop sign at 6:37 was initially spotted at 6:33.
this was the ultimative Edge Case, the wild Goose Case
Oh, I totally understand why this is called "goose island" now!
Double stop sign a cool corner case nice work. At 1:30 should have reported for this, car hesistated because of stop sign there imo
Why the hell are stop signs on the wrong side?
Welcome to Chicago :)))) They are doubled. One sign on the right and one on the other side of the road.
At 7:35 the car is rendering the biker's backpack on the screen
Chicago loves to install stop signs at the end of an intersection 😂. I can't say that is wrong to do... but it certainly confuses FSD.
how confident do you feel in general about the FSD when its driving... you feel like 70% 90%, curious..
70%. I'm always alert when I engage FSD. I don't trust it much as I've seen it doing some goofy things.
giggle giggle
At 7.22 there was a stop sign on the left side of the road. Why was it wrong to stop?

It seems to work better in San Francisco
FSD can't even visualize road-going Canadian geese? Fail!

Thanks all fixed
