So my takeaway is that this was a review of different shafts. Would have been nice if you did the review using similar shafts. If Kirkland came out with adjustable weight kit for the putter I’m sure they’ll come out with hosels for the driver for people to change shafts.
Yeah at that point in time we will definitely get another Tip and do an identical test. We will continue to watch the market and see if Costco or another company releases and makes tips for the Kirkland driver. Either that or we can take it off that shaft and do a test over a longer period to allow the Epoxy to dry on a different shaft.

The existing shaft is totally fine! I play a 44 1//2 " so I tipped the shaft 1" so this stiffened the shaft by 1/2 a flex so now play Stiff- X Stiff. I tested this set against my SIM2 and PXG 0211. Sound better that the PXG and distance is about the same. Sound better than the PXG but not a thud! ( lower sounding than the SIM2 ). Deflection, good straight it will leak like any other driver if you dont close the face at impact. At sea level (links in wind and rain getting 245-255 yards) So pleased.
Guys. Mizuno shafts work in the Kirkland driver. Upgrade the shaft with one of those.
Nice job guys…I bought one. 10.5 stiff.. upon inspection. The head looks very nice. The stiff shaft isn’t very stiff. Fortunately a Mizuno tip fits Kirkland head. I ordered a Mizuno tip n pulled a G25 tip off an Alta CB x.. that’s going into Mizuno tip and into Kirkland. That shaft is stable. The Evenflow stiff will produce hook city for me.. hopefully I’m going to get a very good Kirkland head with a very good CB.. really looking forward to seeing what it does. Keeping in mind the Mizuno tip is 2 degrees adjustable both ways and lie adjustable.

Great review as usual. I can see where this driver will fit perfect for a brand new golfer or someone with limited money and still give some very good performance. Agree that the shaft may not suit some swing types but can see where this shaft can fit a wide range of golfers. Personally I think it looks more like a Titleist driver. I also believe that the shaft adapter can be found somewhere and then allow someone to change shafts, and there are pretty nice shafts available that are very affordable.

What made you go to 10.5 vs 9 degree on the cobra. Better launch ?
I have too low of a ball flight with driver so i have the higher loft. I prefer a 9 but I just dont hit up on the ball well enough 😪. I need to work on that for sure! Thanks for watching and the continued support Trey 🙌🏼

I guess the question is… if a person is buying a $200 Kirkland driver. They’re prob not willing to spend $500. But is it workable for half the price? Can a newer or high handicapper put up decent numbers with it? I’m not sure comparing fitted clubs to a store bought Kirkland gives new golfers the info the need.

Tates AOA is negative 3.4 launch angle of 7.4 with Cobra. Needs a higher lofted clubhead and higher launching shaft I would think. Kirkland had better launch angle for him at 10.5 and that softer shaft.
Yeah the problem I run in to when I do that is it gets too spiny and I spray it right. That’s why I try not to go even higher loft. It’s honestly just my attack angle and swing with Driver. Gotta get it dialed in 🤦🏽♂️
@@embersgolf you would bomb the ball with a little upswing. Yr brother would be jealous as all hell haha. Maybe try what Rahm does tee it higher and set the ball a foot in front of your driver. Gotta hit up on it then. Cream city bombs all day!!!

From the Reviews I have seen since they uses the same Shaft as Mizuno Drivers swapping out Shaft will make a huge difference. With Stock Shaft it is just a good deal not great..

For the average player you can NOT beat that Kirkland driver. I play one out of the box to a 4 hdcp. Not sure why you miss the middle of the face unless you are swinging way to hard.

That is good feedback DC Qu3if. But I think if you polled a number of different golf fitters that fit equivalent irons to these, they would all preach the importance of a fitting and getting the right shafts that complement each individual swing. Thanks for watching 👍
