    Hey Dave, great topic! I do long exposures. My trip up point is how dark and when. I waste a lot of time playing around with the settings and the darkness of the filters. As for focusing, I just use auto focusing before putting on the nd filter. Trifocal glasses and manual focus aren't always the best options, LOL! Great video, my friend!

      Haha I haven't made it to the trifocal glasses yet, but I'm sure that's coming in my future!

    Great video, just started using my nikon z5 for landscape. and just about to begin taking long Ex. Not sure i understood the stop nothe ND filter. What would you recommend?

    Would you also use 30 sec. with a polarizer instead of ND filter? F stop 16+?
