So Lance takes interest in Ash when he's at the camp nice. Ash getting Dratini as a starter makes sense with Lance's ace been a Dragonite. I'm hope this means we will see more of this Ash and Gary rivalry during this journey. I like that Ash and Misty meet each other under better circumstances here, and with Caterpie now she can get over her fear of Bug Pokémon. Anyways another really good start to this new series, and looking forward to the next part soon.

When combined with actual lighting, the moves non damaging properties would definitely change The anime has also shown status moves as regular attacks before

Is this an illegal Dratini. I only ask because in-game all of lances Dragonites are illegal because they're all at levels that Dragonite doesn't evolve
