    • @IdontKnow-oo2dp
      @IdontKnow-oo2dp Год назад +3

      Oh hell no that would ruin the yogurt flavor. Tzatziki is supposed to have a tang coming from ingredients in the fresh side. If anything it’s supposed to be lemon juice.

    • @alexa3322
      @alexa3322 Год назад +7

      Of course white wine vinegar!!!!! Equal parts with best extra virgin olive oil you can find!

    • @IdontKnow-oo2dp
      @IdontKnow-oo2dp Год назад

      @@alexa3322 uhh HELL NO that’s nasty. No one ever puts vinegar into tatziki. If you do you’ll have a disgusting tatziki. It’s supposed to have fresh elements not the overpowering acidity of vinegar. THERES YOGURT ALREADY. It would be way too unbalanced. You need a fresh element of tang from lemon or even no lemon since the yogurt has enough. Also like what I said before the milk will seperate if vinegar is used. That’s absolute nonsense.

    • @josiedudouit1933
      @josiedudouit1933 Год назад +2

      He already has the fresh lemon juice and greek yogurt is acidic enough so vinegar is unnecessary and would be overpowering🤷‍♀️

    • @TheofilosMouratidis
      @TheofilosMouratidis Год назад +8

      @@IdontKnow-oo2dp It would ruin nothing, the original recipe doesn't use lemon but white wine vinegar in same dosage as olive oil, and it gives it's characteristic fresh and soft sour flavour. Lemon juice makes tzatziki have quite a flat flavour.
