      I like the slower pace. Even more if it helps finding stories that are either real or at least sounds like they are. I'm a "quality over quantity" kind of guy and I personnaly won't die of anticipation if you take your time to find the best reddits stories to deliver.

      Who is leaking information to the mom? Who told her about the will? It's obvious MIL has mental health issues. Why give her so many chances? She continues to blow up their lives and tries to kidnap the baby. They should have used that lawyer money to sue her for defamation.

      Yeah I was wondering why they didn't get a restraining order and a cease and desist when she tried to kidnap the kid. That would have been my first move, as well as showing the arrest report to the family. Also why didn't they do a paternity test right off the bat, to shut this crazy 🐝 down.

      It’s not just her decision on the restraining order and the paternity test, it’s Mike’s too. That’s his mom, the woman who raised him. As far as the story goes she didn’t display this extreme of behavior before so maybe they had hope that she would settle down. Restraining orders are serious things, and taking legal action isn’t always affordable to new parents.

    Yes, I get it's his mother, but after attempted kidnapping, and trying to get her own daughter arrested by planting drugs on her (which made her lose her job), there is NO WAY they should have ever tried giving her another chance to "get help".

    The fact that she actually thought that her son would side with her when he knew for a fact that op didn't cheat and her history of trying to set him up with women she approved of just showed her stupidity and how delusional she is. Especially when she said that she would come back to save her son and grandkid, despite saying that the kid wasn't part of her family, from op.
    Just shows that she's a classiest and refuses to acknowledge that she's burning the bridge with her son. Especially when she's constantly hating and looking down on op for being working class.

    Dear God, I can't tell if this is real or not. I know narcissist can actually be this bad (which is why I can believe it), but WHY didn't they file restraining order after she started causing issues? Why didn't they sue for defamation for both SIL and hubby with the fake applications? If they had a competent lawyer, that would have been among the FIRST things they did. Especially if he came from money.

    Im lowkey weirded out that the MIL thinks that OP being a Nurse is a bad thing or a shameful thing?? Nurses save and nurture life. Nurse, teacher or doctor they all do wonders for society. Personally my fiancé is a nurse and I couldn't be more overjoyed that he works a job that benefits society and all his money is well earnt. Not some sleazy job like being an accountant who helps the rich stay rich by aiding them in evading taxes easier.

    Dont feel bad.
    First time i met my MiL, i was called a pedo for wanting to have something to do with my woman's kid.
    Real reason shes mad is because she asked my wife to sign her rights up and i told her, "don't be doing that."
    She's a Looney tune.
    Then i had to hear all about how my MiL is a victim, how everyone has always mistreated her. Blah, blah, blah.
    I looked at her and told her, "well, i can see why."
    She also thinks the government is stealing our cell phone data from helicopters and that's why they've been flying low.
