Thank You. Thats what inspired me to start this channel. In general, all these travel shows always focus on a handful of countries or cities when there’s so much more to discover.
Just returned from a week in the Pittsburgh area. Although our focus was touring colleges for our daughter, we toured the sights. So much to see and do. We stayed at a hotel on the South Side. Lots of redevelopment happening here. Love the variety in your video.
Your videos are so good. When is someone going to put you "on tour" nationwide via like the travel channel. Keep it going man you are definitely going to make it.
Thank you. As someone who use to frequent Pitt, Philly, and Boston as a kid, and grew up in NYC, the air quality has greatly improved since the old factories have left
That was a lovely run-through for someone like me interested in a virtual tour before deciding to visit. I would have liked to see more of the intimacy of the different neighborhoods, but I love the quality of this joint. Thank you!
Check out Dean Bog’s neighborhoods of Pittsburgh series, he goes into a ton of them and interviews businesses and locals, talking history and overall character of each one
@@Crystal__Clear I incidentally did keep researching and came across his wonderfully stylistic, cinema auteur profiles of Pittsburgh. I saw he got into an accident that had prevented him from making more as well! I think he has a Patreon or fundraising page to help. Thanks!
Pittsburgh is one of my all time favorite cities. It has that big city appeal without the big city headaches like NYC. If you ever get a chance you’ll have a blast.
Your video was great. Most of these are done by realtors trying to sell houses and they leave a lot to be desired. My wife and I are visiting soon and it’s my hope that she will really enjoy her time here. I’ve already been and am looking forward to returning. This was a great refresher. Thank you.
Thank you and I hope your wife enjoys the city. Pittsburgh has tons of great things to explore that I wish I could’ve fit all of it in the video. It’s one of my favorite city’s to visit every spring and fall
We are looking forward to visiting Pittsburgh again and wanted to see some other places to check out and your video was very helpful and well made. Thanks for sharing and you now have a new subscriber.
Absolutely, I am planning on going to Delaware and Maryland for my travels this year and start adding more videos from the New England region. I want to slowly begin expanding more into New England and Southern states
I’m from PA and I use to work at a skate shop. On a friday night thats all we played in the shop. I was close to calling it corn hole but might’ve been confusing for the general audience
Thank you, Pittsburgh is one of my favorite cities. I left several of the places you mentioned so I can make a follow up story. There is so much more to showcase.
Cool. In a follow-up might be worth noting is the Matress Factory art museum, somewhat more interesting than the Warhol museum, IMO. Also nearby on the northside is the Bicycle Museum.
I truly enjoyed your video, José. It was very educational, and the visuals (as well as the locations, of course) are beautiful. I have learned that Pittsburgh has a lot to offer from what you have shown. Thanks for putting in the work to create such a cool vid.
Jose, I have a question about Manchester. What streets would you recommend to visit there as the most scenic ones? The neighbourhood looks huge and we don’t have enough time to explore it thoroughly. Thank you!
Pittsburgh is a great city and very calm in comparison to other big cities. I love Florida and if I were to retire in Northeast I think Pittsburgh is def. a top pick. Its about 1 1/2 hours away from Lake Erie.
I think that would be a great idea. For as big of a sports city as Pittsburgh is I think it deserves its own team plus its far away from Philly that it could be a great new market.
@@JoseOnTour yes before i was selecting “Las Vegas, Vancouver, Seattle and Kansas City” for NBA teams but upon further review, just feel Pittsburgh has more to offer then Kansas City, more of a tourist attracting city, would fill that eastern conference choice perfectly rather then kansas city who is midwest/central…and the rivalry between the 76ers would be amazing.
Pittsburgh had an ABA pro team back in the 70s. They were called the pipers then the condors. They were a charter member and won the championship. Pro basketball isn't as big as a market here as you think. College basketball has always been more popular. It's one of the main reasons the NBA never really considered a move here.
I am a big fan of both cities. Harrisburg is closely connected to Philadelphia, the Poconos, and is an easy ride to Virginia, Maryland, New York, and Washington DC. Pittsburgh is a bigger city closer towards Ohio and has more opportunities when it comes to careers. Its my favorite big city in comparison to NY, Boston, LA. Pittsburgh is a-lot more calmer with comparable attractions.
@@JoseOnTour I hate Virginia, and I don't like Maryland but I do know about DC or Boston but at least. Massachusetts is cool and NY, NJ is alright but I do love NYC, Brooklyn is cool and from NJ. I love NJC and Atlantic City is beautiful. I love LA in California.
Hi Jorge, Thats under the highline by color park. Its by liberty bridge around the South Side Flats. The closest recognizable business is the Southside Boxing Club.
You made it look very beautiful, thank you. But coming from someone that is born n raised and 30 yo living on the slopes now… this is poopy peepy town. It’s gotten pretty bad
Want anti gentrification raw chocolate amish buttermilk at a marina with elevators pay phones a hostel and self cleaning port o potties thats a good spitsinbergen visit plan🎉bet they got all that
Really loving this channel. It's so refreshing to see parts of another country that don't get much screen time here
Thank You. Thats what inspired me to start this channel. In general, all these travel shows always focus on a handful of countries or cities when there’s so much more to discover.
I agree. Although ideally it’s much better to actually visit and be there than to watch it on video
Moving to Pittsburgh from Seattle - beautiful city
Just returned from a week in the Pittsburgh area. Although our focus was touring colleges for our daughter, we toured the sights. So much to see and do. We stayed at a hotel on the South Side. Lots of redevelopment happening here. Love the variety in your video.
Thank you, Pittsburgh is one of my family’s favorite cities. The views, beauty, and attractions are great

Very nice! I grew up near Pittsburgh. It never looked so good. Skies were smoggy and the mills were running.
Thank you. As someone who use to frequent Pitt, Philly, and Boston as a kid, and grew up in NYC, the air quality has greatly improved since the old factories have left
Great video of the city and things to visit, awesome!
Thank you
Thanks for the effort you put in to make this video Jose. It shows. I really enjoyed it.
Thank you. This was one of my most tiring but truly rewarding videos. I am a big fan of this city

Great video here! Would have loved it if you had gone to the east end too! Watching this from Greenfield. Cheers!
Thank you, I plan on revisiting for another adventure and focus more on the east. Pittsburgh is one of my favorite cities and has so much to offer.

Great video! Pittsburgh is an amazing city
thank you, its def. a city to have a great summer adventure
I work on the North shore right between the PNC stadium and Heinz Field.
I live close and would also recommend The Worhol, Cathedral of Learning, Phipps, Market Square, National Aviary, and The Church Brew Works.
Thank you for these recommendations. I am heading back to Pittsburgh for another video this fall and will definitely check those out.
@@JoseOnTour You're most welcome thanks for the vid!

Such a great video! I'm moving there in three weeks!
Thank you Linda, Pittsburgh is such a great city. Its in my top 5 list and one that I frequent every couple of months

Question, is plum borough pa still Pittsburgh?
Never was. It is It's own borough. It's a suburb of Pittsburgh bordering on the exurbs.
I live about 2 hours away and somehow have never been.
I highly recommend a visit. I live in the other side of PA and make a trip to Pitt at least once a year. It’s a beautiful city with so much to do
