I own the first 12 sesons on DVD, was wondering if these commentaries would ever see the light of day for everyone online. THey're so, so fucking good. Thanks for uploading them man. As I say, I own them myself, but I never break out a DVD anymore, this is way more convenient.
@@I_AM_BAYTOR It's definitely more in line with a typical sitcom storyline but honestly that kind of is what makes it stand out to me. It's kind of a breath of fresh air you know?
It's quite honestly a top tier butters epsiode. There are so many amazing ones but I think off the top of my head Margorine would have to be my favorite butters ep. They're often way too hard themselves but that's what makes them wonderful. They're always striving to be better.
31:30 - You can actually see Matt and Trey's logic here which would go on and inspire "The S Word" a few seasons later. I do like going back to these commentaries and realizing the stuff they did wind up using unintetnioally or not later on in the series.
@@drewhughes9127 Oh yeah my bad I don't know why that episode makes me think it was called "The S Word" which yeah doesn't even make sense if you know what the episode is about which I do.
Thanks for taking the time to re-upload these on this new channel. Considering the old channel is at risk due to monetization, you could maybe link a tip page in the description where ppl could tip. Patreon obviously comes to mind. But I love Givebutter the most. It's free and simple, but best of all they don't allow charge-backs.
i like Marjorine a lot just because it's among the ones where you get to see Butters happy for a bit. i don't think they truly appreciate what it means to see that in a character like him, even if Butters is as much only there for laughs as the rest of the show
1:33 I can't believe the entire state of South Park continuing to go on was fucking saved by the absolute dumbest goddamn thing imaginable. That's pretty rad.
It’s awesome hearing them commentate about “Follow that Egg” and talking about the word fag, knowing they went on to make an episode about that where the boys change the definition of fag years later.
I rewatched "Marjorine" and felt the same way. It comes off as several underdeveloped ideas smashed together with average results. It does at least coherently tie some of it, so it's not a mess like "Cow Days" or most of Season 2 in general, but it doesn't succeed at delivering a wholly satisfying narrative.
ep 1: She looked like she had never seen something quite so horrible in all her life. ep 2: noice ep 3: Got it. Ahh in the mouth, it was lovely! ep 4: A bit rich, but okay ep 5: Really good. ep 6: Ahh in the mouth, it was lovely ep 7: A bit rich, but okay ep 8: Alright, I said, alright ep 9: *speechless Rosen* ep 10: A bit rich, but okay ep 11: Really good ep 12: Ahh in the mouth, it was lovely ep 13: noice ep 14: double noice.
it is funny that every ''this was a last min idea'' always are one of the best ones
Because they didn't have time to overthink it, the rushed episodes of South Park are always the best
Love hearing Trey as a gamer, say he was excited for the Wii and PS3 in 2005
I use these to fall asleep, works like a charm ❤️🔥
Same
OMG me too 😂
Only way to enjoy these
Lol me too. It's an added bonus they can't monetize these so no commercials.
Same
They actually used Day after Tomorrow in Geography classes back in the early 2000’s.
Hilarious to look back on now

There is just not enough south park content
Agreed!
“No one really even cares. How does that happen? …aren’t you supposed to care about that?”
That’s basically what they all said in Surviving R. Kelly
Wait! You’re a writer that enjoys Disney movies, South Park and you’re cute as a button? We have to hang.
I loved Marjorine. I think these guys are a little too hard on it.
Marjorine is an S level show. I think about it every time I eat Spaghettios
It is more normie level.

@@biggusdickus1689 It does have the Pet Semetary stuff, there's that.

Free Willzyx is so fkn hilarious.

i love their commentary for follow that egg because they literally made an episode about the meaning of the word three years later
7:06 I feel like Matt and Trey don’t know that she actually started her singing career singing for comatose and geriatric patients in the hospital.
36:34 This aged well...

16:21 "That person would be dead to me."
Thats my favorite episode, where cartman "dies".
Die Hippie Die and Free Wilzyx are the best episodes of this season.
Moving two grand pianos to Mexico Lol
Them genuinly hating on gingers is awesome to me.

Nice
For some reason, Ginger boys are always the freaky ones with those creepy eyelids. 😂
Ginger girls can actually come out pretty damn attractive

The fact that reruns of "'Trapped in the Closet" AND "Bloody Mary" both got pulled is actually pretty Goddamn funny.
