I absolutely LOVE hearing these two goofballs talk about their creation. Its such a shame they were getting letters from people telling them that these commentaries were too long. I love, love, love south park man. Hearing Matt and Trey talk about their ideas and how they came up with all different kinds of things for the show is so cool.
I think those letters they mentioned were a joke lol they always mention how much They hate doing them. Plus I think they did it for season 1 and realized they don't need to talk for the whole episode
I love how in two episodes in this season they just openly admitted to whole episodes being built around _forcing_ in utterly childish stupidity. These guys are great.
I always have to higher the volume on my speaker at work to listen to these videos, then I almost go deaf every time I forget to lower it again when the ads come on...
What's sad but of course also very funny is how prophetic South Park itself became, in light of how spot-on they also were initially with regards to The Simpsons being prophetic about real-life events- let alone sitcom ideas. Jared being a mild example, but there have been a good few others- though I can't recall them.

I picked up on the lack of side-view of Chef by season 2. They had the side-view of his body, but not his face. By the time they rectified this, they killed him off.
They're right about the losing weight thing. You really do just have to eat less. And if it's a fatty food, then eat even less of that. And you will lose weight.
This was a great season, just feels like it’s missing something when they killed off Kenny for the year , Butters (besides being a punching bag for them) and Tweak do not fit in the boys dynamic at all
