Great video. Easy personality, clear instructions for beginners and great video editing. Nicely done. Appreciated.
How come nobody is talking about that scary ass baby?
Hey . Double check your rear diff vent. Looks like you had so weepage there on the bottom. Just make sure it's not rusted shut . Might need a spin. Maybe a toot of fluid film to keep it from rusting shut in the future . Awesome video
I used synthetic in my Tacoma and it started chattering so I went with conventional and just added lsd additive and it solved my problem
The good thing about doing it yourself is that your sure you will wipe the magnet. Some techs will just drain and fill to move to next job.
Great video!
Real good video. Should label it just rear diff
Great video, super helpful! Thanks for making this!
Nice job on the video. Thanks!
I am doing mine next weekend, and I will also remove the spare. 2.9 qt for ones without Rear Locker, 2.8 qt with Rear locker...
its 2.7 without locker 2.9 with locker
Thanks for posting!
Leave it to Toyota to make it super easy to drain the oil

Great vid. Thank you.
Are you planning to do the Front Diff as well or?
thanks. is yours on larger than stock tires or lifted at all? wondering if I'll need ramps
front and rear differential and transfer case is the same fluid?
Does it matter what direction the crush washers get installed?
Yes the rounded edge faces the differential the flat side faces the bolt
Where did you find the torque specs? Other videos show different.
How’s it running now? Update?
What fluid in transfer case
You have to change diff fluid? Ha ha just kidding. Nice job on the video!
I think there was water inside. It was milky.
Why would you chince on a $1 crush washer….odd.
