Very interesting. It would be nice if Victorinox would do a yearly vault pattern like Case. There’s some really cool discontinued patterns.
That would be cool!
Very cool! Thanks for sharing this older model with us! Great toolset.
Thanks for watching!
It's always nice to see the older/original version of any SAK, thanks for sharing about this very cool piece! 👍 Take care my friend and Cheers!
Appreciate you Dave
Great addition to your collection. A very well loved SAK.
Glad you enjoyed!
That Orient Bambino looks good! Just the type of watch an SAK fan would have in the collection.
Thanks Thomas
That's got a great toolset. Enjoy the Explorer so no doubt I enjoy this as well. Very cool model. Dan's done it again! Thanks, Slippy.
Appreciate you John 🙏🏼🙏🏼🖤
great compliment to your collection- thanks for showing
Thanks for watching!
Love it that’s it’s been a user and still is 👍❤️
Thanks Will
Someone has definitely carried and used that for many years, so it's nice that it's gone to a good home where it will continue to be used and give good service to it's new owner.🙂
100% brother, it's been well loved
Absolute love this!!!! Thanks Slippy ❤️👍
You are so welcome!
Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Another neat addition!!!
Thanks Randy
Nice one. Have a great day!
Thanks, you too!
Cool piece, buddy!
Thank you! Cheers!
Cool model, the magnifying glass is handy when your eyes begin to age (my experience)
Very true!
very informative sir,
thank you very much sir :)
Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
Good morning
Morning
get some Flitz on that gray housing of the magnifying glass. it will probably will restore it and remove that yellowing. I would Flitz everything on that knife and some of those scratches will will come out. Too rare of a knife to not do more restoration on
I'll give it some love 🙏🏼
You should give it a good cleaning don't just put it away sand the scales with sum 5and6 thousand grit and make it pretty its a common knife even for the age of it, it's not a collector piece why not,🇺🇲😎🙏 great vid
Thanks brother, I'll be giving it some attention
they can be pretty pricey for ones in great shape and the Canadian Alpineer versions sell for a lot ,only because of the Alpineer scale. Passengers usually start at over $100 for mediocre condition to over $200 for a really great condition one. Almost as stupidly over priced as a Yeoman but Yeoman's were only made for less than 10 years and Passenger's for decades. Any retired models with magnifying glasses are way over priced now and makes no since.
I got a killer deal on this 🙏🏼
the SAKWIKI is incorrect about it predating the Explorer. The Explorer came out in 73 when the magnifying glass came out and the inline phillips screwdriver. It either came out in 73 which I don't believe the Passenger did , or not too much later in the 70's. Be careful with SAKWIKI there is a bunch of uncorrected misinformation on there. Swiss Army Knights is a usually more accurate resource to find out about older models and their history.
Appreciate it brother 🙏🏼 I'll check that out
