Having the earbud case be able to be used as a wired headphone is amazing. If you use regular earbuds you have to keep hearing them with every freaking device you want to use but with the charging case you can just plug it in to every device you want to use and then you only have two pair it to your phone for taking them out and about.
This is assuming that they are like the steam controller where you don't have to repair them to the receiver as well. It's still useful feecher because some devices don't have Bluetooth even if you did have to repair them.

@@SemBo_ lol I suppose that would've been a good idea. Guess I didn't have that in mind when I got it. But I wouldn't want to caddy around a box anyway. Something with zippers and handles is preferred 😂😂😂
@@SemBo_ Carrying handle and/or strap... for one thing.
If you guys like the idea of the 8BitDo wireless adapter for different controllers, get the Mayflash Magic NS adapter instead. It does the same thing at the same price but also has a USB port for if you want to use wired connection, which could be good if you have a wired third party PlayStation or Xbox controller.

It's cool to be able to carry your game console anywhere. Love the versatility and feels more personal like a handphone.
As you mentioned like horis split pads for example, hori is working on a grip for your splitpads to use as a pro controller

That flip case is the first holiday gift I have bought this year.
If you can even get your hands on a Switch these days. I sold mine in 2020 to help out a kid and now I’ve been switchless for 2 years. Getting switch-withdrawal isn’t easy. The only OLEDs available are $500+ (which is NOT worth it). Hopefully they get some production ramped up.
I live in South Africa and I honestly did not expect us to run out of stock so fast. But we did. And man I HUNTED for the OLED model. Eventually the videogame shop I visited called me back about a month later saying they've got only 1 in stock and they kept it for me. Still, that was imported from Australia/New Zealand.
if you look on Amazon they're about $350 or so. Whoever's charging $500+ for the OLED is definitely charging too much

Got a Fixture 1 Thursday, and my pro controller came in Friday. I was so excited. Got it all together, played a game of Tetris 99, and immediately fell in love. THEN… It broke at the hinge as I closed it up. It’s just junk now. One use. Refund on the way!

I just got an oled from Walmart yesterday! I just had a lite before
Appreciate the info :) I've already got the 8bitdo "Mariobricks" Controller adapter and the 8bitdo Gbros adapter, so I think I'm set when it comes to that. The carrying cases you showed look nice, but I just use a rectangular men's slim toiletry pack that perfectly fits my Switch and can carry a good number of games as well. It's forest-green, made out of a tough fabric that has some cushion for protection, and set me back about $3 at a second-hand store. Love it!
Can you drop info or the link for the toiletry bag you use for it?
I bought a 4 pack of the wireless Power A gamecube controllers 2 years and its a solid purchase. Best of both worlds and at 30 each i now have 4 controllers for friends

I modified my fixture s1 to fit the oled. It works, its amazing. Also also there is an $18 binbok controller on Amazon that works with the fixture S1. Plus it has turbo!
Can you share how? Because I keep waiting for fixture to announce an oled version
@@jaredj sawed it on 1 side and expanded by 0.1 inch. Then tape/super glue... it's still secure too.

Why do people buy that one when the other one allowed for a switch OLED or switch light? "DOBE Handel Bracket for N-Switch" or "WEPGIGEEK Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Mount" it says both on the box.
The best carrying case is the box it came in and then throw it into a backpack that you already own. :)

Meanwhile I spent the entire video coveting the NES Hoodie. Curious about your take on the YCCTeam Wireless Pro controller. It's one of the few controllers that I've found that actually has ALL of the Nintendo Pro controller features (although the rumble is probably not the HD version.) It's a bit light but considering I got it for less than $25...
Also, I have the TomToc version of the Ivolar case, they are definitely the best out of that particular design as the others actually face the screen of the Switch face down so it's the first thing to hit the ground. Whereas these two have it up on top by the carrying handle.

If you are looking for a GameCube controller do not go with power A! I’ve gone through 2 of their controllers already and they are garbage compared to a classic GameCube controller. I got it hoping I would need to bring my older controller and adapter, to minimize wires. But the controller constantly miss inputs directional buttons such as up and side special. So trying to play smash competitively with this controller is a no.

After watching this I was hoping the pdp backpack was back in stock but unfortunately they stopped making it
I dont plan to lug my switch around but i am looking something to carry some my controllers and cords that i dont use. Rather than shoving them in cubbyhole on my entertainment center or desk drawer.

the problem with the 8bitdo wireless adapter is that the bluetooth connectivity on the adapter is too old to work with the xbox series x controller and about a month later i dropped the adapter by accident and it stopped working so to be honest the 8bitdo wireless adapter inst really a good option to buy

Edit: The fixture s1 sucks because I have something similar and it actually fits the OLED even though it was not designed for it. Hell it even fits the switch light because it squeezes the devices up and down not left and right.
I don't get why they had to make it bigger like I think making it the same size would have been just fine. Most people that thought anything thought the regular switch was to big and now we have to throw out all our old accessories cus they don't fit wtf Nintendo.

The power a GameCube style pro controller you have is kinda weird, because I used to have one, and I noticed that they made the two z buttons the L and R buttons, and they made the pressure sensitive shoulder buttons the ZL and ZR buttons

It’s worth noting you can get the official new smash ultimate GameCube controller for around 55 dollars CIB which is not terrible. Unfortunately to open it you have to tear the shit out of the box.
unfortunately, the re-released gc controllers are very bad for competitive gaming, they have a lot of snapback and are generally inconsistent, the production quality varies a lot from one controller to another. The best option is the OG gamecube controller with the 8bitdo Gbros adapter

Bought the OLED switch and my friend told me to get a screen protector, but is it really necessary for the moment, I am saving as much as possible for a new gaming PC and with the current GPU prices it's gonna cost. I play on the switch most of the time in bed and only then do I take it from the dock. Is it still a problem that if you remove/place switch in the dock that it gets scratched. I have already got some savings but my monthly pay isn't so good that even 10€ saved somewhere is a blessing.
With most glass screen protectors costing less than $10 for at least 2, I think it's a no brainer. Mandatory, in my opinion. Imagine cracking or scratching the glass OLED screen without a screen protector. The actual OLED screen isn't plastic like the other Switches and can crack, scratch, or shatter more easily. Spend $10 to potentially save hundreds. If you aren't going to buy another protective shell case for it either, DEFINITELY get a glass screen protector. A new system like this is an investment. You have to protect it. Don't be cheap to save pocket change to eventually buy another expensive piece of tech a week sooner or something and risk your expensive new OLED screen. Please!

get a switch if you want a fun game experience. If you'd rather play more seriously or competetively, get an Xbox. Taking AAA games with you is an amazing experience, I have an OLED switch and it's awesome. I'd say get the switch

For fun with friends: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Also, check the RUclips channels Switch Up, SwitchCorner, and RGT85. They have a bunch of reviews and sales videos to give you recommendations. Have fun!
