My sister just started her natural locs journey, then moved to Europe and the struggle is real coz she was used to go to saloon .This is so helpful and I'll be retwist her locs .
Wow, I love the natural approach you have to moisturizing your locs. I love the natural flax seed homemade gel as well. The best part is NO DRYER NEEDED, I hate the dryer with a passion. Thank you so much for this awesome video, you have definitely gained a loyal follower. ✌🏽
You’re a very beautiful woman, I love your hair. Your way of retwisting with only doing the new growth make so much more sense and is very easy to do. I thank you!
i’ve literally watched your videos since you were months to a year loc’d! so beautiful! i’m past 15 months just about, i can’t wait to keep growingggggggg. inside + out!
Ur video makes me feel so much better. I retwist half her hair like this and I'll finish it just like this too. Feel more confirmed in our decisions everyday about her locs. Shes loving them and enjoying the freedom of putting her hair up or down and at 9 yrs old it's fun for her to play with her hair.
Great video, thank you for sharing your method ! I just got some avocado oil and a spray bottle to make my own oil/water spray ! Im gonna retwist myself (second attempt lol). Thanks again ! much love !
This was a great video! I know I’m late LOL but I’m 10months in and my hair lady is getting really pricey! Definitely subscribed thank you so much again queen greatly appreciated

Hey I now started locs on my 3rd day I didnt know anything about it tho so i started it by palm rolling 🤦🏿♀️I jus want to know if it would grow properly
Hi I was wondering how do you sleep with the pins already in your hair. I've had locs now going on 15 months and I am realizing their is a lot I'm still learning. Please share as I am transitioning from interlocking to palm twists.
Finally someone that doesn’t care about parting. I just feel like with locs they should do what they do. Nothing about locs are perfect so why do the parts have to be? Locs grow & loc how they want to I like letting my hair do it’s own thing.
** Keeping The Most High First Always ** Not yet. I’m going for a consultation tomorrow. I’m gonna go with the two strand twist method as well. I’m hoping that my hair turns out well. Fingers crossed 🤞. Did a professional start your locs?
@@AC-bu9sd I started my own, very neat grid patterns, I studied and did my research on loc to part ratio. I wanted my starter locs to be perfect so I took my time using a mirror to see the back. They turned out really nice. I didn't want to pay over $100 to a salon. My friend went that route and the stylist talked her into getting comb coils and she hates her set and thinking about starting over. She's 3 months in.
** Keeping The Most High First Always ** Oh my, I hate the look of comb coils. I can’t be talked into those, it’ll be two strand twists or I’m walking out, lol. Ur Locs are beautiful!!! I'm 13months in but I have a question for you how long do you wait to retwist your locs??? I try to wit a month before I do mines.
I really wanna commit to locs for my hair and I did some crochet locs on myself yesterday and currently watching so many videos. I'm gonna officially get the locs in January
I’m 3 weeks in on my Loc journey and I’m gonna retwist next week and i was wondering how would i get my retwist to hold with out using commercial products. I like the flax seed gel idea and I’m definitely gonna make some for the retwist. How much do you make for your hair and how long does it last? Thank you sistar⭐️
Funny story 🤣 listen my mom hasn't had her hair done in a minute and make a long story short she was mad as hell she couldn't redo her hair for work 😂 I searched and found your channel. It really eased her , and now I'm not just a fan of your work but I love you and your husbands energy #worldPeace
Thank you for this! This seems fairly easy. Time consuming, but easy. I know whenever I do try to retwist my own hair, it’ll have to be on a weekend I’m doing absolutely nothing because I know it’ll take me all weekend 😭😂
Do you think that there's a diff in twisting vs palm rolling. Maybe it will be easier to palm roll as they mature but I hope I'm not over twisting my daughters loc. When I'm twist the starter locs I am stretching some and twist root then wrap around my finger like a coil to get stray hairs ...then pin.... some at the nap are bunching and I'm wondering if it is because I twisted with a stretch instead of palm rolling... separating the strands that were trying to loc potentially...Will stretching locs during a retwist cause bunch? I think I'm doing it similar to u. But those other ppl palm roll quick making me think I'm over manipulating the locs.
Thank you so much for this. I just passed 1 month and I feel some of my retwist never came out properly, like the root was not twisted when I was through?
