Wax, superglue, and many other things will help with the sticking issue. Beeswax is the bomb

Never thought about cutting the printer lid in half, that’s a nice option. 👍 I installed a slide out shelf in order to have my printer in a cabinet.

At this point in my life, I've seen so many mini painting channels where either they stick paint brush tips in their mouths and now green stuff residue after licking their finger. LOL. Fun times.

The barbarian 3d model that you printed is based off the artwork from the original 1989 HeroQuest by Milton Bradley (and Games Workshop) and looks a lot closer to that one.

Looks good. If you dry brush a grey before doing a lighter dry brush of white you can get a lot of extra depth!
I did used to do that but found the extra time spent wasnt worth it so dropped that stage lol 🙂
@@MiniatureHobbyist Yeah that's fair. It certainly does add time. If you spray the grey on zenithal style then dry brush the white it's pretty quick but just white looks fine too, very sharp contrast but it does make it look very dark overall.
Maybe do some side by side with Green Stuff World and Army Painter Speedpaint? You were very much a fan of those paints, so it could be useful for providing some perspective on the difference.

Phrozen have the same usb design as anycubic or visa versa, yellow with folding metal cover
Did you need multiple coats of the flesh dipping ink? Or was that one coat before you did the highlight?
I did 2 coats of the dipping ink flesh 🙂
Any tips for drybrushing ? I either have too much paint on my brush or not enough
It really is just practice until it just feels right 🙂
I own a lot of the original GSW dipping inks in their bigger bottles (60ml)
I even remember that my black is different as their black was too greenish for being called black and they redid the formula ( i hope they have that color because maybe is not a good black but very good for that old green marks of moisture on old graveyards and statues)
Later the launched more colors and now I'm looking for them
That skin tone and red look wonderful. How many layers did you needed for looking like that?
I remember their reds back in the day were not too strong , their purples and greens yes for example . But that red looks amazing and i would like it since is more vibrant that his contrast counterparts ( good colors also)
I have both the large ones and a complete set of the new, but I'm away from home until the weekend. Could check then?
Its just 1 layer for the red and I did 2 for the skin tone, maybe thats why I love the dipping inks now as Ive got some of the old larger bottles, they are sending me the full range of larger pots so hopefully they will be the same new formula as the smaller ones, time will tell 🙂
