Did you know that ProPresenter can control lighting consoles and software via Midi? It can.
As of Pro7, both the Mac and Windows versions can do it, too. The thing is they're both a little different, so to make sure I address them all correctly, I'll divide this topic into four lessons.
This is the Mac version on how to control a lighting console with a USB to Midi adapter.
First, you should know that I tried a cheaper option, but couldn't get it to work, so I'd recommend the Roland UM-One, since it worked for me out of the gate. Here's an affiliate link to get one from Amazon (amzn.to/3B290h9); don't worry, it's the same price for you, but it does help me make these tutorials for you.
Now, watch the video above and follow along.

I cant see midi sources and destinations in propresenter. Is there something i have forgotten`?
What USB to midi cable are you using? The Roland UM-One was the only one I got to work, but I only tried a cheapo one before I bought it, so others might work too.
What Midi Board do you have?
DMX operator.
@@PaulClifford is there a specific one( if there is could you paste the link?)
Once again the curse of cheap USB-MIDI cables strikes again. If it's less than $15, Don't Bother. There is a chance it'll be good, but there's a larger chance it won't work at all, or will only work for slow MIDI notes, or only certain notes, or.... Just Don't Do It.
That’s why I bought the UM-One and haven’t looked back.
