We use Jands Vista Byron as our lighting software, but any light board or software that can accept midi notes as a "play" command should work the same.

Can you give a detailed list of all the hardware (boxes, cords,etc) and software you bought? We have jands vista and pro presenter but do when need to buy any extra software?

This is exactly how we set ours up a few years ago. We ended up having issues of MIDI disconnecting though and ended up switching over to Bluetooth (which was more reliable, believe it or not). Have you ever experienced MIDI disconnecting? (It seemed to always do so during a Christmas service or a worship night, haha)
I haven't tried Bluetooth, that's interesting! We haven't had any issues since switching to our different midi boxes.
How did you use bluetooth? This is very intriguing to me!
@@MadisonAssemblyIN I'm not sure how to do it, but if you Google "Bluetooth over MIDI Mac" (if you're on a Mac like I was), you should be able to figure it out.
