Hi doc I tried your tip to unbrick my firestick it worked a bit and I got my firestick onto a loop when I turned it off and on it was back to the way it was I tried again but tried c key instead of the I and that worked thanks for all you do for us

As an owner of the 1rst Gen Firestick 4k Max(and love it), the new Firestick 4k Max should be much better, especially the 16 gb storage. I have already purchased mine with a trade in of my original 4k Max. BTW TechDoctorUk, keep up the great work and videos. Happy streaming everyone.

At least half a dozen times, I have transferred data, settings and apps from an older to a newer laptop. But I have no idea how to do the migration from an older to a newer Fire TV Stick 4K Max. Can you please describe how in a future video? Thanks.

Had to happen the new version of Android TV Google made it have to have at 16GB of storage or more so if you want to get the latest Android Tv which is what fire OS is made from you will need at the lowest 16GB of storage now

Can I transfer my apps from my current fire stick to a new one
This may be a "wait and see" answer....but my question is I have the original Firestick 4K (not the Max). I set it up with the OTG cable, a 32GB flash drive and Ethernet adapter, so mine is hard wired (not wifi). I love being able to use the Wolf launcher and be able to have a clean interface without all the extra "stuff" Amazon throws at you. Would this still be possible on the new stick (4K Max)? Or is it even worth the bother given my current setup. Keep making those great videos and thank you for all you do. Thanks!

Nvidia considers the shield a failed product, thats why the released the smaller version
Basically same as the cube, which means the new cube will have to bring something significant to the table in order to justify cost difference. I'm waiting for the new Cube.
The new Cube 3 is an Octa-core processor, way more powerful than a quad core, which this is.
@@mattmatthews758 yes, but the only time you will see any difference will be boot up and app install. As far as playback it will run the same. The extra cores don't do a whole lot on a small device like this that most people only use for one process at a time. They need more ram to really make a lot of difference in these devices.
The cube upscaling is great, this new 🔥 stick is no way close but the 16 gb storage is a good selling point
Benchmarks yes real world does not justify cube cost unless your die hard alexa i have all 3 fs 2nd gen max 1st cube 3rd cube waste of money unless again your using your voice shouldnt convince people to buy the cube bc of its processor when they only want to stream witut voice exttra cpu power wont make streaming any better but if you need to justify your bill on the cube by saying it blows the 2nd fs and max go ahead but in real world it does not

I believe they have the technology to make the Firesticks with 256 GB of storage or more but like everything else its drip drip drip technology release. Just like cell phones. They have technology thats 25 years out but are milking the technology to keep us hooked. I have a gen 2 Firestick and have liked it but I do need an upgrade as mine keeps crashing. So I guess I'll just have to play the game.
It’s doesn’t matter if you don’t upgrade your equipment like your router and modem and HDMI cable and cat cables
During those things might be a good idea but it wouldn't be necessary just to take advantage of the extra storage.
Not bad for $59 and the only real choice besides the cube which is over priced imo. No need to even look at the regular 4k with these price points .

Does the new 4k max still only have 100 mbps ethernet?
The new 4max doesn’t have an Ethernet port. It does have a usb 2.0 micro usb port which you can add an Ethernet adapter. As it’s USB 2.0 , the max speed you can get is 450mb

I bought an 8k android box 64gb and 4k android stick 32gb, way better than firestick, quick load up, plug and play, and better picture. I got rid off my firestick, too slow for me
As a previous cube buyer i skipted last years model as they failed to improve it in the areas
that are important to me, mainly the ethernet 10/100 went out with the ark!
I am keeping my fingers crossed that the next cube is updated in the important areas and not full of
gimmicks, i can't stand Alexa!

I've got the new 4K Max Fire TV Stick with 16GB of storage. From Amazon's advertising, I had thought to use that 16GB of storage to download content - movies and series episodes - for watching offline in the same was as I can use the Prime Video App on my smartphone for offline viewing. But, after spending hours on the phone with Amazon's specialist Fire team, they couldn't find any way to use that large 16GB storage for any content storage. Anyone know why we're being sold 16GB of unusable storage 🤷♂️ on the latest flagship Fire TV Stick 4K Max when it isn't allowing us to download movie content similar to the Prime Video smartphone App?? Thanks
