Awesome video, thanks a bunch. I’ve got an issue while screen mirroring from the M1 iPad to an Apple TV box, when I open a website to watch an American Movie, but with English subtitles. I mean I can watch the movie with subtitles, but only if I don’t extend the movie on the iPad. But isn’t it possible to extend the movie, and still have the subtitles, but don’t need to see the tab bar???

You simply plug the HDMI cable into the back of the TV. That’s it.

WiFi is different than internet. You can stream over WiFi that itself is not hooked up to the internet.
when i stream video from websites it looks fullscreen? or looks 4.3 screen with the black bars? (Hulu goes fullscreen) but i have the doubt about the videos from website... it goes full screen?

I don’t have a Mac but I would assume Apple would have it work the same over all of its devices.
The only think I ever stream are sports from ESPN or Fox. I use their apps on the iPad. Would I be able to watch them in HD?

yo can you answer some of these questions here please, i only want apple tv so i can cast tv shows and movies from my macbook to my tv, seeing as how smart tv's fuck about when you want to watch something off of a website, i've had enough of corporations trying their ultimate hardest to stop people from watching the programs they want, people make great apps and websites with all fav shows/movies and they just come and fuck about with it, im trying to watch the wire on my smart tv, i can watch it on a phone, tablet and my macbook so why does it fuck about when im trying to watch it on my telly ? because they dont want you to have the luxury of watching whatever show you want when you want and how you want, so fuck it i have to get apple tv JUST to cast my tv shows to my tv because the smart tv wont allow you to enjoy that because they dont want you to, greedy corporations. fuck sake

Professor Pepe Since no one is answering this I will. YES you can watch online videos in full screen on the Apple TV. But make sure to set the Apple TV to 1080p if the video you're watching is 1080p. 1080p in 4K makes it look like crap. If the video you're watching is in 4K then leave Apple TV in 4K. It will full screen but if not you can turn off Underscan in the settings & it will fix it. I play movies online with my iPhone 6s Plus. & there is little to no lag at all. You can't really tell unless you are nit picking at it. Web videos work with safari & chrome & other browsers. Watching movies illegally is fun lol.

These instructions are only for mirroring to a television with the Apple TV box. I don’t know if they will work using the Apple TV app.

The quality of photos is so much better on the phone as I send them to the Apple TV. Are there controls on the TV that will bring the pictures up to speed on the TV?
Well it’s possible that your phone has a better screen than your TV, higher resolution. You could try playing around with the TV display settings. Adjusting contrast and brightness, etc.
What happens if you turn the tablet off . Does the tv screen turn off ?

You missed a step. How do you even open up the screen mirroring option?
I show all the steps in the video. Go to one minute in the video timeline and that’s where I begin to show how to connect to the Apple TV. It’s in the control center.

How to mirror your iPad for Teaching?
For some reason I cannot get the control panel to appear on my iPad. I’ve done it before, but when is swipe up from the bottom it doesn’t appear.
Exactly. That's the first problem haha. It's under settings now, control center.
After the upgrade you now need to swipe down from the top on the right side of your screen. Same as the old way of swiping up on the iPad.
Any idea on getting the mirroring on the TV to go to landscape mode from iPhone?
You should just be able to rotate your phone and it will rotate on the TV. Make sure your rotation is enabled in your control panel and make sure the phone is not on mute, that will lock your rotation as well.
