I still can't believe I was there to see this absolutely astounding performance by Christian Kane and Kate Gordon! I admit, I wasn't at all familiar with the song or the movie so, although I knew better, his act in the beginning did give me pause. That's just how good he is! I quickly realized what he was doing, though, and after it was further explained to me later, it made perfect sense. I truly wish people wouldn't just assume the worst because Christian is a professional, and he loves and respects Kevin Rahm and St. Jude's too much to do anything to mar their reputation. Thanks, Katie, for capturing this wonderful video!

I love Christian Kane, he is extremely talented. He obviously is dealing with some issues in his personal life to show up drunk for a performance. I pray for he gets some help to better deal with whatever is going on. 🙏🏾

It's disappointing to see how inebriated he was going up on stage. Alcohol doesn't improve the quality of a person's voice. Nor does showing up in that state convey professional respect for the other musicians that have agreed to share the stage with him. Disappointing to see.
