It is incredible live (saw it near Buffalo, NY Uproar 2011)... What made it even more so is you don't expect them to ever play this song and then you hear the intro... My brother and I instantaneously turned to each other and were both excited to a higher degree than any other point in any concert we have ever been to! I will say the set list of Uproar 2011 was much better than Mayhem 2014 if not for the simple fact it included many more songs from Waking the Fallen (this one, second heartbeat, unholy confessions) yeah... amazing. Not to mention a crazy show with effects and visuals. Definitely recommend checking them out if they happen to tour near you!
He can actually(You can see this on songs like Higher) in the studio with preparation and training, but he rarely could do them live, not even in his earlier days or in his "greatest shows", if I'm not mistaken, he did them live like 2 times and before his surgery(Pre COE).

Damn Matt lost his voice on the high notes. He used to be able to pull that of so well. Doesn't matter because he's still a really good signer.
I don't think he ever regained that note after his vocal surgery in 2004/2005.
