    Thank you for the content you provide. I like your way of thinking and I look forward to seeing another video, but for a house with a smaller area, because plots with small areas pose consequences for implementing the client’s ideas.

    Firstly, thank you so much for sharing your very valuable knowledge.
    26:30 if I understand correctly; one must always have some sort of corridor or separation between bedroom(s) and the living area?

    • @malbeldesigns
      @malbeldesigns  2 месяца назад

      @@kellIID Thank you for watching!! Yes, ideally if the space allows, it’s nice to have a separation or some sort of hallways where the doors open to. Especially if it’s a formal living area.

    Hi Mal, your videos are good and very instructive, as always, but considering that this house plan is for Ghana, you have some mistakes:
    1- Fireplace??? I don’t think that’s a reasonable choice considering the climate profile of Ghana.
    2- Your solution to the outdoor kitchen is very reasonable, but it’s not practical for privacy reasons. The staff need to have their own space and don’t clash with the owners of the house. You don’t want to have them always hovering around on family time or when you’re with guests. They should be close by, but separated.

    • @malbeldesigns
      @malbeldesigns  27 дней назад +1

      @@eumsmo326 Thank you for watching Ediv :)
      1- In this day and age fireplaces are not used for heating, they are mostly for aesthetics and ambiance (even in cold climates, most modern houses have mechanical HVAC and don’t rely on fireplaces). The fireplace was a way to anchor the TV wall and act as a hearth. An electrical fireplace temperature can be adjusted or turned on just to make the living room bit more inviting. You will see fireplaces in warm climates like Miami, Texas, and even Hawaii.
      2- As mentioned in the video, sometimes we ask for the moon but we don’t usually have the space nor the budget for the moon lol. If the lot was +8,000 SF it would’ve been nice to have a seperate staff kitchen as you mentioned but the lot is $4,000 and we were barely able to fit everything in without losing major program elements.
      Hope that answers your questions!

    Hey Malbel!! I'm Mustafa, I had added you from LinkedIn a while ago. As a third grader, I really really appreciate your videos. From the time I've started watching you last summer, it felt like finding a treasure and I finally started to feel comfortable making projects with the tips you gave me. I am taking down notes, sharing you with my friends and I think you are the best designer that can openly communicate their ideas! I would really love to do an internship with you, just to learn things, but unfortunately I live very very far away. So I will keep on watching all the videos and materials you give me! I hope you find more customers, earn even more money and get to be known by everyone in the world!
    So I had a small question for you. Do you find your Revit objects online? They look really good and well organized! 36:05

      @malbeldesigns  4 месяца назад +1

      Thank you, Mustafa this truly made my day🥹 will promise to keep them coming and share everything I’ve learned over the years. If I ever get a project in Turkey I will let you know.
      As for your question, I use revitcity.com and bimobjects.com to find components that are not in the Revit library. As for Lumion components I use 3Dwarehouse.sketchup.com

    • @mysticalblizzard1981
      @mysticalblizzard1981 4 месяца назад +1

      @@malbeldesigns Oh, but I thought you couldn't make changes in Revit once you open the project in Lumion, and if you added something on Lumion it would only show itself in Lumion. (It would create a seperate lumion file that doesn't allow you to switch back and forth with Revit.) If you place an object in Lumion, does it show itself in Revit too?

    • @malbeldesigns
      @malbeldesigns  4 месяца назад +1

      @@mysticalblizzard1981 If you have Lumion LiveSync plug-in with Revit you can make edits to your Revit and it will show in your Lumion (but not the other way around, if you put anything in Lumion it will not show in Revit)
