Hello, I've seen a lot of people on Facebook getting upset at the young people who burnt down the house. Please don't be! These things are temporary. If you built a house, and left it, it would fall down. They have to be lived in to work and no one can live in them today. The fact that they 'used' it is actually more appropriate and that it resulted in the fire could almost be realistic!
Thanks for your video. Really cool. I took a walk here and you could really get an idea of how a community of people would have used this area with plentiful resources from river and sea. I kayaked up the coast also and found some interesting rocks that look and feel as though they must have been used as tools. Superb video and presentation!
How fascinating - I didn't know about this house and at first confused it with Howick Hall but was treated to a really interesting talk on this discovery. Thank you!
