Cool, I just got my first slowpitch jigging setup. I end up getting a Shimano Ocea Jigger F Custom 2001NRHG from Japan and paired it with a Seafloor Control JAM model 3. Can't wait to test it out!

It’s smaller and more compact and most of the jogging reels have a super high Max drag weight, which allows you to get a fish off the bottom before they take you to a ledge or structure. You could probably do it with a trolling reel, but it’s going to be heavy and uncomfortable.

That is 100% correct. I never claim to know everything, I’m just here to tell you what i know and hopefully it’ll help someone else!
