Thanks for the introduction to the TWO forums. No need for that one who has chosen to be NON friendly & Keep up the Amazing work ! I'll be following this.
Exactly, Bob. Regardless what skill level they have, common courtesy and common sense are not too much to ask. Yesterday was a sad day for the hobby as far as I'm concerned.
hemistormrc I hear ya! There are some seriously talented builders out there. I have worked with styrene plenty of times making props and such, but never building small detailed RC stuff. It is an art!
Awesome mate! I've got one of the G2 kits here too, and they are definitely awesome... you'll love it! Looking forward to the next video bro, hope you're well.
Well thanks very much Chris! Means a lot. I'm sure you'll do a great job, it's easy after a bit of practice! Looking forward to seeing what you get up to bro!
Looking forward to it, here's a suggestion I saw a V8 motor that fit's over the brushed or brushless motor mated to a two speed bolted up and resembled the gearbox. As far as the Styrene have a look at the early Bowler Bobcat offroad racer and Dakar entrants, the right's to the earlier design were sold to a company in the West Country here in the UK, I always loved that shape wish we could get more scale bodies for my passion the Large Scale would love a Landrover Bobcat along with an early Ford 150 stepside these are my favourite's so will watch with great interest.
Hi Nick, the Bowlers have definitely caught my attention, but I want the car to be a utility type of vehicle too. So most like it will become a blend of multiple cars and styles. Let's hope I can make it look coherent!
Subscribing to this one for sure, I really like the way you evolved in making youre videos, it's getting very professional without losing you're style, keep it up! Grtz
Im sure it will look awsome buddy. Liked all the builds and paint jobs so far. Always loved the defender and the F150 the body style used by Tamiya on the Ranger and Blackfoot. Just because of the boxy style!
It is cool, but I've also seen quite a few of them already. I'm thinking of adding more than a few personal touches to make sure it stands out in a crowd.
Awesome! I'm thinking of landing that kit myself. I would love to see a safari themed Land Rover. That might be a little tame for you though. Love the show
Hi Mudguy, you won't regret getting this one if you do. A true joy to build, and for reasons I can't pinpoint, I liked this one a bit more than the TF2. Could be the single speed transmission, or the wheels that are 1.9 instead of 1.55, but it's more appealing somehow. Thank you for leaving me a comment! :)
Nice video, I have built this Galande 2 and it was great. Having a problem with a glitch in the receiver from FlySky. Should I run a BEC with a digital servo from Savox?
I gather youve been building rcs for a long time im considering getting back into rcs.which would you consider to be a better constructed rock climber gelande ll -landrover defender or gmade sawback I like the jeep and landrover shape and many items could be brought or fabricated to make it more realistic gday from australia
Although I have no experience with the G-Made (this will come in the near future though), when it comes to well constructed RC's, and scale realism RC4WD is hard to beat. As you say, I've been doing this for quite a while, but I'm amazed at the level of quality and craftmanship involved in the RC4WD kits. And that goes for the TrailFinder as well as the Gelande 2. My preferred kit would be the Gelande 2. I like the single speed gearbox, and the fact that there are more and more items available for it, almost on a weekly basis. I hope this is of any assistance, if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask! :)

Can not wait to see the creativity you throw at the Defender... This kit is my next purchase!
Excellent choice. It's hard to say if I would prefer this one over the TF2, both are of exceptional quality.
Hemi I am so stoked to see this build series, Can't wait to see what magic touch you put on for paint on the body
Tons of work before the cans will come out on this body, but you can follow me every (mis)step of the way!
hemistormrc, Don't worry buddy, I will be following you through every video you post
Look forward to seeing what you come up with Chris! Awesome Project M8!
Kind of nervous about the styrene, but excited at the same time! It's jaw dropping what some guys manage to build with that stuff.

I'm in awe of your build, and hope I will be half as good with styrene as you are. You do amazing work, my friend!

it is going to be a fun winter!
Very cool Hemi ,
It will be cool to see you do a box build and mod it Hemi style.
I will definitely be watching for updates on this build.
One update is on the way, after that I need to wait for parts to arrive. :)
We know you'll take the potential of this kit to the next level. ;)
I will sure do my best to live up to your expectation!

Boxy is classic, and classic is nice! There are so many possibilities to turn this thing into something nice.
Hey if you past builds are anything to go by Im not worried top job buddy. Love your vis and channel very glad I subbed
Can't wait to see you break loose on this one
Hi, I was hoping you would be doing this rig cos I think your touch on it is going to be creative and inspiring, keep doing it man
Lots to learn on this one, Steve! I'm especially excited about styrene building, and how that will work out for me.
hemistormrc
I think Headquake137's your man, some of the things he makes are amazing and the detail is unbelievable
The camel livery would be so cool!
It is cool, but I've also seen quite a few of them already. I'm thinking of adding more than a few personal touches to make sure it stands out in a crowd.
sexy slider shots!
Thank you so much for all the pointers, Chris! :)
i got my Gelande II coming in this week :D exciting!!
Congratulations and have fun building, every piece is so nicely made, one of the nicest kits I've worked on without a doubt.
Cant wait to see your paint scheme and over all theme. Mine will be super real but little splash of zombie here n there lol
Sounds like a fresh theme for sure!
great work!!keep on!!
Thank you, Kostas!
sweet man, looking forward to the next vid :-)
It is coming right up!

your presentation is awesome. nevermind all the other shit you are good at
Thanks man, that is really appreciated! :)
Looks like cool rig
Eric, the chassis is together and this kit is a work of art!
I bet I watched DJMedic build his an just watching him made me wanting one
that was a awesome video my friend! are you going to get some sort of off road trailer for it because i think that would be very cool to see.
That would make one fine first brazing project I think, awesome idea!
Nice video, I have built this Galande 2 and it was great. Having a problem with a glitch in the receiver from FlySky. Should I run a BEC with a digital servo from Savox?
Joe Shirley Savox servo's are known to deal well with higher voltages.
How about an off the hook Camel Trophy version from back in the 90,s
Good idea, but I would like to do something more recent.

Where do you get your RC cars from. ?
Dillon Gilvin This one I got at TGN Distributing, but it varies where I shop.
make a styrene trailer to along with that kit. paint the same.
Good call, Raymond! Sounds like I need to get some brazing gear once the car is completed.
what is the external diameter of whell?
I have 1.9s on mine.
Or possibly a dakar vehicle
You're on to something!
Du kan bygg den om til en pick up
Alt er mulig!
sweet man, looking forward to the next vid :-)
