I am curious if there is a reason this season has been so child focused. Saving the baby in the christmas special. Space Babies, The little girl and her dad on the war planet. The maestro episode starting with a child's piano lesson. The Doctor has always loved children and especially babies ("no leave the new human they will only distract me"-12), but the first four episodes all had major child characters. They talk about Ruby being a baby left in the snow so much maybe they are trying to call back to her connection to children for a reason. I hope it's beyond "Kids are cute and Ruby and the Doctor like them".
YES!!! Exactly in the track of where my brains been heading. I definitely think there’s something to all of that. Interesting too how the Doctor said he wasn’t a father yet. Life of a time lord. So curious as to that timeline. Susan is brought up a lot so I wonder too if we’ll be getting a Susan (granddaughter) reveal.
