I was born in Austria when I was a baby my father was killed in the war and this was his favorite song my mom used to sing it to me and say your papa loved the song Edelweiss about a beautiful flower that grows on the top of the mountain and every time I hear this song makes me cry because I wish I had my dad who never had the privilege to raise me nor have I had the privilege of knowing him only through the stories my mom would tell me about him... He was only 23 and I was just 6 months old.. War changes so many people's lives some for the worst in some for the better but this I think how would it be if I still lived in Austria it looks so beautiful from the photos I see

I was born in the Soviet Union and when I was 8 years old with my parents we saw in cinema Sound of music movie. Since I was a kid, I have liked all songs from this movie. For 12 years, I lived in British Columbia, Canada, where same mountains, which are similar to Alps .Sometimes, walking in the Rocky Mountains I saw a small blossom of Edelweiss. I wish all people peaceful and nice lives. May God have the same spirit as Edelweiss .
