      @@MotoNZ you asked whether you needed to change to your maxxis (?) enduro tyre at the end.... I'd never heard of a Karoo Xtreme but Metzler says it's a hot weather rally tyre... Not going to like slippery wet NZ hills, though I can see why it will have been decent in sandy soil!

      Riiight, got you,
      Yes great sand tyre. Terrible on wet grass. Full knobley required for the rest of winter I think.

    What an awesome place to ride.
    What rear tyre pressure are you running mate ?
    Traction was beyond shithouse.

      I was running a Karoo Extreme on the rear, so not the right tyre of the terrain in the first place, got down to 6psi in the end. much more traction after lunch.

      Cool. But you were on knobleys. Not adventure tyres. What you don’t see on this video is the lack of rear end grip.
