I have to say I am proud to see at least 2 car models, made by the romanian car brand Dacia, in your town from Belarus. First one was Dacia Logan MCV (no longer produced in Romania as it was replaced by Dacia Jogger) and the taxi you filmed was a Dacia Sandero 2. The cars may have been branded as Renault Logan, Renault Sandero and Renault Duster in countries like Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and in south America, but they are Dacia with a Renault badge. Why do they do that? Cause Renault owns Dacia and although in the entire EU and Africa the car is sold by its original name (Dacia), in countries where this car brand isn't known that well, it is sold as Renault from marketing reasons. Dacia Duster 3 will soon be produced in Romania and it looks nice. I think in Belarus, Russia, etc. only the second generation (with minor modifications for the liking of the people in these countries) was being sold right before the russian invasion of Ukraine started. I don't know if Dacia/Renault cars can still be bought after sanctions over there. Probably not.
As for your neighbour and that rude aggressive girl, they were really drunk. He had some crazy dance moves (Fred Astair would be jealous lol ) and she was out of her right mind. I don't like people that do not know when to stop drinking or think getting close to an alcoholic comma is what ''fun'' is. Being drunk does not excuse someone's behaviour, it just shows that person would act if it had no fears and inhibitions. And yes, many eastern girls tend to be materialistic and more interested in the car than the guy. The only problem is their future child will not look like the fancy car or his parents' money, but like their father's face and character.
Anyway, thanks for the clip and all your effort and troubles to show us some belarusian slices of life.

Renault also had its budget brand in Russia (Lada), so it did not promote the second budget brand, Dacia, on SNG markets, because it was illogical from a marketing point of view. Renault produced cars in Russia under Renault and Lada brands, which were practically no different from Dacia because they used budget platforms created especially for these brands (the differences were cosmetic, concerned body elements). Of course, we are talking about the period before the introduction of sanctions, i.e. the moment when the Renault concern withdrew from Russia.
