@@ponczos_2293 so they had a lead writer working on the game for a good long while but they "canceled" him over his online behavior and because they didn't want to "support a problematic individual" ie pay him they *COMPLETELY* redid the story and started over, this decision pushed back the game at least another year and recently a few months ago they delayed the game AGAIN until late this year, keep in mind the original game was announced during the PS5 reveal and was supposed to release months ago

Downloaded because I wanted to laugh. Left with my heart torn out and a passion for the snoot. This experience was amazing and I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Fantastic work to everyone who made this fangame. You knocked it out of the park.

@@blackout5238 it's VERY true. Also they suck at management, they fired their own lead writer and because they were "toxic" (I didn't look it up but supposedly she wrote Harry Potter fanfic so they canceled her for it) they completely SCRAPED the story so they're starting over from scratch

Six years for a six hour game that doesn't seem to have any actual choices or gameplay...
I’ve been meaning to play Snoot Game for a while but I’m afraid I never got round to it, before that salty Kotaku article finally gave me the impetus to download it. I’ve not finished my first playthough yet (just got Fang to switch the band to guitars) but the scene where the drummer to win an argument about “Pachystation” (cute pun) links out of the game to an actual RUclips trailer of Goodbye Volcano High had me genuinely laughing out loud. Are there non-crypto ways to send you chaps a tip?

Thought the game would be funny to play. It was hilarious and heartfelt. There's a snoot shaped hole in my soul. Wish I could understand the lyrics better for the trailer.

I started the game just for the memes and giggles and because of why it is a parody game that is better than the original, i expected to do just a single blind run (3rd ending) and called it a day but because i was curious i just 100% the game and one person was right... it really fucking hits like a semi truck listening to this

When I found out about the original.. God knows, I hated him and the characters that were there. snoot game turned everything around by a fucking 180 degrees. Long life to Snoot Game and its creators. They created a masterpiece.
Can we actually get some voice actors for the game? Cause to be honest, they're onto something here. And imagine the salt, the red sea of salt, if the original game bombs. Frankly, I'm surprised they haven't sent a cease and desist yet.

Can I just say this video is a masterpiece? There's so many little bits that you don't even need to play the game to understand. Anon feeling like the odd man out, the people around him expressing themselves just like he would, Fang struggling with her almost self-imposed isolation and learning to accept a hand from others at the same time as Anon, followed by Anon feeling things he's not used to and feeling overwhelmed by his questioning himself until he sees Fang suffering the same thing and he gives her the strength to fight for something more, and that in turn makes Anon realize that he never needed to fit in, he just needed a cool group of people who will have his back and, in the process of learning, met someone who changed and was changed by him for the better and fell in love. It's literally two minutes, but it tells the entire plotline if you know.

I can’t believe that I expected this to be a bad parody game when I started it for the first time.
At the end, getting ending three out of four, I don’t think I ever felt this many emotions throughout a game in a while. Played it in 2 days non stop basically.
It was probably one of the best visual novel games I’ve ever played, I really didn’t think a game could do this much.
Same here man, ending 3 first going in blind. I'm genuinely glad that original game which was there to just push the current agenda, backfired into a game about authentic empathy.

Out of all the choices I made playing Snoot Game in this month, the one choice I regret… was sleeping on this game! Holy crap! How did I miss this diamond in the rough for TWO YEARS?
Same, didn't even know GVH existed until Dumbsville covered it and then didn't try it until I saw BlackLightJack’s review of GVH where he did a whole video on it.
Then the rest is history.
I've heard about it like a year ago but didn't really bother looking into it until recently. I think I've actually forgotten about it until one of the artists I was following started drawing IWHTG fan art. Better late than never I suppose.

In case you're not aware, this isn't the first 4chan VN. The first is goddamn Katawa Shoujo, a game that emotionally broke me as a teenager because I legitimately love Lilly Satou and that's never changed.
