  • How to make a relatively easy and fast seamless 4x4 redstone door that is flush with the wall. This is a modification of the first design, and only marginally increases the size requirements. The door has a lever on both sides to open and close the door.

      Things I would check are if there is something blocking the right side, and even harder to spot (this gets me a lot) if there is something that the slime or honey blocks are getting stuck on (check symmetry to the other side potentially). Another thing to double check is that all delays are the same between both sides, so mainly the repeater settings (number of torches should already be the same)

    Any way to move the levers closer? Been trying to make something work

    • @ZennsWorld
      @ZennsWorld  Год назад

      You can put them wherever you want as long as you can fit it in with everything else; I put them in the most convenient place for me but I didn't try that hard to squeeze them in closer. I can't think of a way off the top of my head but potentially going underground could work to free up some space

  • @Nebals
    @Nebals 2 года назад +3

    So I decided to follow this tutorial and I got everything right but the pistons that are supposed to push it in are not even moving
    Edit: Only one is and it is in the bottom right
    Edit 2: Now none of it works

    • @ZennsWorld
      @ZennsWorld  2 года назад

      The way the pistons are wired only work for Java edition (bedrock requires some different wiring) so that could be the issue. It could also be that the slime and honey blocks are getting blocked by something (including sticking to the ground or something if those blocks weren't replaced). Its really easy to miss something blocking them, I do it all the time

  • @CubeyWubey

    I did it in a cave cause my base is underground but the pistons wont move and i made sure nothing is attached to the stone and cobble. The pistons arent showing a response when i flick the leaver i can give the server ip if u want

      Make sure the signal from the levers is actually getting all the way down to the pistons and isn't stopping somewhere

  • @SwaayyJ

    Idk if this still works I tried it in my base and all of it worked except the pistons on the right since the torch when placed started as on instead of off

    • @ZennsWorld
      @ZennsWorld  7 дней назад

      I would say try hooking up the torches and stuff without having the pistons connected, and connect them at the end to avoid the intermediate state of the redstone causing issues

      So the obsidian will need to be on the top as well, just like the bottom since the sticky blocks will also stick to the ceiling and get stuck. For the right side only going in one block I think there might be something wrong with the delays causing it to only come in once (the back pistons firing too quickly) so make sure the two sides are the same

      Check that the redstone connection from the lever when its on actually makes it to where it needs to go. Its easy to have a break in it somewhere which would have this effect

    This work on Xbox?

    • @ZennsWorld
      @ZennsWorld  2 года назад

      It doesn't but you can make it work with some slight modifications: the double piston extentors need to have redstone added to the bottom pistons since the repeaters only power the top piston in Bedrock (Xbox) version; this could be done with some torches and repeaters. The pistons in the middle on top also need to be modified but are actually easier by just removing the pistons that push the redstone blocks, removing the redstone blocks, replacing the observers with some opaque block, then wiring the redstone dust to just go on top of the block where the observer was, as well as making the repeater up there a delay 3 (instead of 1). I'm debating making a Bedrock version video since the modifications are straightforward but hard to do without visuals
